Your math is way off too :D
Let me see you make 2 minute runs in Stalgard
Thee are 7 progress bars ... one for each region :p
    Not really.
You can get only lucky spheres and never get anything else

...Which is one of the seven rewards.

I was mostly focused on Mini #1 with that particular post, but when Myrdosch rolls around, I'll be in The Gleaming Mountians. Stalgard has too many long narrow corridors where you can get into a log jam situation, and the monsters you are looking for will blend in better.

Eggs not respawning - ruined the main event. But I remained hopeful that the mini's would be cool...

But they are not. Too much grind in 2 days for a sad and misrepresented reward.

    How to improve?

    MAKE AN EFFORT!

Despite the general negative, I like this event and mini-sessions (I have a lot of time to do this, and even a little more to get all the achievements).
    But.
If there were not one group of dwarves in the location, but as many as there are eggs on the map, that would be much more interesting.
One could combine a mini farm with a chest farm, with the possibility of obtaining a rune of knowledge.
It would be possible to walk the group (it would be less dissynchronized)
In the end, it would be a little bit faster.
I think if the BP hears this, and changes the number of dwarves right now (I think technically it's not difficult), the attitude of many players to mini-chalenge will change.

    Yours faithfully,

Five minutes was figuring high, Doc, but not that high-- note I'm figuring for the regular players, not those with a year or more under their belt. If a player is a new 55, or lower, then that idea of running past mobs on fatal is not going to work, nor is the concept of easily killing the megamecha.

And if in fact the way the mini-event is meant to be run is to just run by every mob but the Dwarves, then what DSO is saying is that we need to run this event, only this event, with no other value happening during that time. No farming keys at the same time-- no looking for drops. Just run, kill the dwarves, exit, rinse and repeat. For hours. Your reward is to enter a lottery which might give you a good drop. Or it might not.

Take a good event-- Big Game Hunt. It's a long grind, but you are farming at the same time, you have multiple options for farming, the event drops feed into the event progress, and you essentially get pretty awesome rewards for time spent. Compare that to this event-- you must run by/dismiss every part of the map but the dwarves, your only reward is something that is unusable elsewhere (just progress), and the stepped rewards along the progress are weak. The final reward is equally weak, especially if you are an advanced player (which is the only type of player who can easily run this event).

I'm not a game developer, but even I can see that this event would not have passed the committee phase, IF there had been a committee actually evaluating it before coding started.

I am skipping this event as it is pointless. The rewards and time investment is so poor that I think it is much better to focus on daily quests, leaderboard rewards, wisdom drops and generic farming for glyphs/gems/gold/crafts. (I only PvP when there is clover to be had)

I think this is true no matter what type of character you have, whether new or old timer or f2p or p2p or p2w. This event offers very little and the chance of a gold squire is not worth the investment.

Has anyone else noticed Bigpoint has not replied here or facebook to the negative feedback regarding this event
I am a Guildmaster on Agathon server I am watching players desert the game talked to a few other GM's there guildies log in for dailies and gone
Idk how the other servers are doing but this Anniversary Event is more like a nail in the good bye coffin for Drakensang

Judging by the Stormball Event and now these mini's, Does anyone know is this the forward path of events in the future for Drakensang ??
Run maps and hope the monster you need for a drop is in it ?

They do that a lot nowadays lol lol....its really rare for them to reply and even rarer for them to act according to the feedback that we give xD

It was better few years ago when they cared at least up to some extent but now its just meh..."we dont give a crap anymore" attitude all over again.

I´m really disappointed with this event. I started playing Drakensang when it was still in Beta. At that time, even i was a complete noob, i played lots and lots of hours and i enjoyed the game very much. All the events were great and the rewards were also motivating. I left the game 2 years ago because of the way that the game was going to. I started playing again like 2 months ago, and apart from the general farming, new moon, full moon and dragan event, all the other events were so boring with rewards that didnt deserved the effort. At the end of the day, we have to remember that BP is a company and they should want to earn more money as time goes by, and for that also improving the game so a great deal of the community would like it. Well, thats not the case, concerning events. Events should be special and give motivation to the people to do them as they were before. Good events like desert of essence(for me it was good and had good rewards) and of course, Sargon Event. If something is really liked by the community why withdrawing them? If only BP replaces good events to introduce some other good events...but not. Along with several members, i was really hyped about this event and wanted do open as much pinatas as i could do, but after completing the first mini event im just exausted and just quited. Super boring event, no meaning at all, with rewards so bad that its disappointing. And whats most disappointing is that we write and write in forums and the moderators dont even give their opinion about our complaints, dont give feedback at all. Moderators should be the bridge to devs, but they dont talk to us! Anyways, its sad that a game like Drakensang is becoming worst( as for the events) and obviously we cant do nothing to prevent that because no one listen to us. Moderadors and devs, talk with us!!

As has been said, this event is boring, unbalanced (arena is quite difficult on normal, mech of the mini is op), doesn't have a single guaranteed good reward (it is possible to do all minis and not get the pet or effect), and is a sad reflection of the overall state of DSO at the moment.

That being said, I have a few suggestions to improve the event beyond the simple fixes to the complaint of unbalanced enemies. However, these suggestions will actually take development time, so I harbor no illusions as to the likelihood of their eventual implementation. In order of importance to me:
    1. Change the arena. I don't know why the arena needs to take 20-30 mins for one run. That is ridiculous. I think the anniversary arena should be a full map with enemies and everything. What would the map look like? It would be a scaled version of all of the regions of Dracania. As one fights through the map, they go through small versions of Slifmoor, Teganswall, Norselands, Myrdosch, Helios, etc. Along the way, the champions are the different bosses. You fight Heredur, Khalys, the Herald, Sigrismarr, etc. and they each drop crystals and truncheons. This would make the whole event worth it for me even if there were no other special rewards. I would love this sort map and play it nonstop throughout the event's time.
    2. Give guaranteed rewards. I grinded the cots to get the mount and costume, but I don't understand the mini events. They are grindy, give poor rewards, and there isn't even a way to pay to skip the grind. Who benefits from this model? If BP wanted us to grind multiple minis, then they could have put pet parts at the end of each one as they do with the Winter solstice event, which I love. They could have also had a purchasable buff to increase the drop of the mini to get more money from payers if that is what is restraining them. I simply do not understand their thought process behind the minis.
    3. Give actually useful uniques. I don't know who would want those pauldrons. They could have made the pauldrons work together with the adornment of the vanquisher. That probably wouldn't entice many, but it would at least be something.
    4. Last and least, as has been said above, fix the annoying fireworks or allow them to be turned off. Maybe let us earn some of the fireworks permanently for our collectors bag.

I agree completely this has turned into a real disappointment, I mean really 187 runs to the mini in fatal just to finish with no gurantee to get the drop [EDIT]!
many of the playere including me cannot live DSO
figure just 15 minutes/run to the mini
that will take 46 hours to do it! REALLY who has that much time to devote to this crap

life at dso becomes a lot simpler when you start reducing your playtime and skip almost every event.

This event is not worth any more words. It's sad.

Funny thing is that many complain about bad rewards, grind farm etc, but at some point they write things like: "but after completing mini event(s)...". It's like you're from (example) Ohio and angry for the weak gun control in US but then you go to the supermarket carrying a pistol... Something doesn't add up, right?

As for my opinion on the event, atm I'm on vacation so at first I didn't have any intention to play, then moved by the curiosity of opening the free little runes bag, I've tried the event to see it is grindy, so in the end I've decided to go out catching some Eevee...

Yeah, its a pretty bad event. On the plus side, I've been able to catch up on my TV and movies.

They do not talk because obviously they are unable to do things right, talking wouldnt solve anything, just put them even more under fire of players. So they choose to apply ostright policy, if idont talk about a problem, problem do not exist. Realy hope they will met a hard rock soon when putting head under ground.

That so called CM Jesse, i still wonder if it really exists and what he is supposed to do if not talking to comunity.

I was reading recently on FB that so called CM Jesse is in arena in GOD mode, well, i think that no noob should be allowed to artificially build a strong char and call him GOD, even that noob are calling himself a CM.

They need to learn how hard is to build a strong char in this game, as we all did, working hard, dealing with bugs, playing crap events, grind, grind, grind....only this way game can be understanded and proper decision can be taken.

And before you comment on that, you should know what "god mode" means. In games, it means a mode which can be used by admins and grants total invulnerability to all attacks, and sometimes also ability to one-shot everything (which in this game is already granted to everyone).

Ok thanks 4 detalied info about god mode, basically is same thing i supposed to be, but really dont understand why i should not comment whithout knowing fine detalis . Comment was not about details of what god mode means but about someone that is called community manager that i didnt see talking at all with comunity, on forum at least, but acting in god mode like a super strong char that i am pretty sure is not. Is like pretending u are something u are not, a fake, just cheap PR.

In old days CM used to talk with players, even not all problems were solved, at least players have hope and felt that someone cares about their problems, nowdays seems hope was lost.
