Bug "Will o' the wisp" quest bugged (TS)

I was playing Gwenfara's event on Test Server and when I got said quest (the one u need to carry the fog to the amphora), after killing the spawned vortex enemy miniboss it didn't drop the soul to purify the amphora, so is impossible to continue the quest.
I deleted it and tried many times, but still didn't work.

 

what class? the gwenfara weapon for rangers is very strong I requested from bp to give all 1h items from gwenfara that lvl of damage

 

If this is the quest I think it is, or even related, you typically have to move very slowly to keep the fog on you. Easiest way to know it is with you is to move, wait until it catches up and does you damage so you can see it. Then move again and wait for it to catch up. Depending on the distance to the amphorae, it can be a bit tedious.

 

what has that to do with my post?

I know how to do it, in fact I'm talking about what comes next = vortex mob.
After it dies it should drop a quest item with wich I'm supposed to purify the amphora in order to go on with the quest (catch the other spirit), but it doesn't drop that item.

 

It is still bugged.

I have tried in all difficulties ... and it is not working.

 

I can confirm the bugged quest. I have the same problem with my ranger.
As soon as the fog comes close to the Hematite Bottle it changes to a Miniboss and after I killed it there is NO drop of any item to continue the quest. It is impossible to purify the unchastened soul.

The same bug has been during the last time of this event on the testserver. Still not fixed....

I'm curious whether this bug will be on the liveserver, too.
Just 2 days left until the event will start there....

 

I can also confirm that the quest is bugged as well.

 

I know I didn't explain it really well, but c'mon 2 months and 9 days after I reported the bug it's still active...

 

wow, it takes a good amount of failure to introduce such a bug that in previous versions of the event didn't exist

The bug is fixed.

With R212_17 BP fixed the bug.
I finished the quest today. The Miniboss will drop the item now which is needed to click the bottle.

 

Yes, they fixed quest bug.....
But I need to go 3 times so I can be able to finish quest because of bug witch we shouldn't talk (and for support is nonexistent)

 

I finished this quest last night and can confirm it is no longer bugged for me with the update.

 

Nope ... it is not coming to live servers
This bug and some other bugs were fixed.

You must be confusing the things up.
If you have read my comments ... if I were the one to decide or have power to do anything about the new R , I would never let it come to live servers
