Why aren't my settings remembered every time the client updates? This is just a pain.

Feature Suggestion - Allow settings to be remembered.

simply copy elsewhere file settings.xml and when there is an update, after downloading all data files, copy it in DSOClient

Where is the settings.xml file? I can't locate this on my machine.

    It's not in C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online

Another way to get there is to just type in URL: %temp%\DSOClient and that will take you there on any real OS. ;)

Quite frankly those two files (botton 2) should be kept in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online directory. As should most of the stuff in the temp folder. It would save us all a great deal of time downloading a lot of stuff that the OS somehow weekly seems to delete a file or two causing a complete reload of the 1400+ of 1388MB of data. Very little of those files change from month to month, but according to the OS and any maintenance program to keep our harddrives running at top condition, they "spoil" and need to be removed.

The Temp directory is just that and should be a place for "session" files. Not the entire program.

Also, while we are on the subject of client updates:
When you open the client and log in and your looking at the server selection screen: The little [forum] button at the bottom is fully functional. It is the only one. I can understand why the same button on the login screen doesn't take you to the forum logged in since you are not yet, but the forum button under Settings once you are in the game should work like the server selection screen [forum] button and not like the login screen [forum] button.

And while still on the subject of client updates:
How can a non-existant session time out??? I log out. I don't close the client. I come back and try to log in only to be told that my session has expired and I need to log in. I didn't have a session at that point... I can't have cause I LOGGED OUT.

So for the sake of Pete, and all his Julov buddies, fix the client, please !!!
