    Nice improvement in pve. Unfortunately a gearless pvp for a lot of people will be totally demotivating for farming that pve and for playing. Instead You should have to create different arena levels as in "Clash royale".

    ok, lets try to be constructive:
    what if, instead of erase all our effort in years of farm, the limitation in arenas will be limited on %bonus on items?
    i didnt do the math, but i think that the damage will decrease much more than life/resistance/armor.
    so we can still use our runes/gems/bonus set/unique, and still the 1shot problem might be solved keepenig the movement/attack speed (i think that noone really wants to play in slowmotion).
    am i right?

    but they have a point, 3 hours to do 3v3 match or never start 6v6 is a broken system, put all players in same arena is a thing we need...

    I started this game a few years ago, I made a character as good as full gems royal, came piniata I lost all the stones ... ok I said to continue with my friends(have alot), then I bought a bunch of stones with real money came after the quayaz stones and the other money ... after I got to make all the royal stones and runes almost all the maximum again with a lot of money now have no effect. I know there are a lot of players in my situation,
    will you end to steal us, will not it reach you as you ate? let's sictir with this and play tetris...

    gearless pvp may not be a perfect solution but its better than current pvp in where people can craft a cube set and kill the whole opposite team 3 times before dying.. or 1 hit kills, then respawn then 1 hit killed again..

    so the idea is ok but they have to adjust and rework some things like the honor tree and maybe enable runes so people will have an incentive to get stronger to get event runes for pvp

    what is see now on the letter is that we dont need overcrafting items any more for pvp, only high golden base stats can make the different.

    am i right? that means only the best lucky and most farmers are the heroes in pvp? equitment out infernal 4 ?

    Yes, there is some sort of gem addition bug that gets triggered with map changes. It might be intentional or unintentional but if intentional it is badly designed.

    Here is what seems to happen - established accounts appear to credited some additional gems upon logging in to test server. Not sure if that is because of a script that converted old gems to new gems. However, I had a weak character with mostly polished q-gem and no adjective q-gems in my gear. I was credited a decent number of polished q gems. My diamonds and c yanites are all polished q gems, and my amythests, rubies and onyxes at this point are mostly non adjective q gems.

    Upon each map change, I got a few more q gems. I was not paying attention at this point, as I was still trying to investigate the update. For whatever reason I crafted my flawed onyxes and rubies up so that I had a full set of 4 polished q-gems in adornment and weapon. I don't think I crafted my amythests, diamonds and cyanites. I might have crafted the flawed and splintered ones.

    I'm pretty sure at this point my onyx and ruby stacks stopped incrementing. My amythests, cyanites and diamonds stacks kept increasing with each map change, which is when I noticed this.

    I then crafted some amythests from flawed up to polished and then on the next map change stopped getting amythests.

    As I couldn't craft radiants, and had to do the quest, at this point I noticed that each map change was giving me 6 or 7 polished diamonds and cyanites. I think exactly 7 of each

    Once I got the quest for radiant gem crafting done I had something like 490 polished cyanites and 300ish polished diamonds in my stash.

    I then crafted enough radians such that all my gems of every type are radiants. At this point the incrementing of polished diamonds and cyanites stopped and I was unable to investigate further.

    I suspect there is some kind of bug associated with the gem stacks that leads to a +7 new polished q gems of a type upon a map change. I think it is possible that it might get triggered by having a mix of old gems and new q gems, and it doesn't get turned off until you craft a non adjective q gem or polished q gem of that type.

    I decided to stop playing this game like 5 months ago. I was waiting for this 'huge patch' to see if it will make me back. Well. It was worth to leave ;).
    I consider this update as the most P2W in the history of drakensang. I never complained about that in this game untill now.

    With this release, we are also planning to remove the Jesters feature from the game.


    Thank you for removing the only source of getting tons of reviving stones and essence as a F2P even some anderman. I don't care how many we will be able to get with those new dungeons, because I already can say that it won't be even close to Jesters.

    Stack crafting
    We are finally implementing the ability to craft in stacks. This will allow players to craft several items at once, including gems and runes.


    Thanks graciously, so many months for such simple feature.

    We are also reducing the variety of crafting cores to make the whole system a bit less complex and the hunt for cores easier. To do this we will be introducing two new crafting cores.
    The first one will replace all of the elemental cores (Dark, Blazing, Solid, Shock, Frost, Venom) from the Parallel Worlds and will drop instead of them from Parallel World bosses. All existing elemental cores will be exchanged for the new ones. This means players will not need to farm specific dungeons for specific cores anymore.

    Dislike that idea by a lot. Atleast had motivation to kill something different.


    How will we expand the system?
    We are not just going to add new normal gem tiers as this would lead to even higher gem costs for the tiers prior “royal”. What we are planning are rarity levels for the royal gem tier. This means that the players will be able to craft a royal gem into an improved royal gem, a magic royal gem and later also into an extraordinary and legendary version.


    And this is how do you make gap between F2P and P2W so huge that they don't stand a chance.
    I was playing this game for 4? years not sure, and was able to get ONE royal ruby gem. Those improved royals double the stats of basic royal. Now I want to see that 'little' difference between me having 1 of those and somebody with 5 in a 300% weap dmg.
    Idk maybe give ability to upgrade on lower tiers too?

    Two-Handed Weapons
    We are also planning on increasing the base damage of all two-handed weapons within the game. Our goal is to make two-handed weapons be the weapons of choice for any player wanting to create a damage-focused character build.


    Wait? Do you even listen to the players? Or in those few months of me not playing the game, 1h builds became so powerful?
    I like the logic of buffing something already stronger than the 2nd option, but I wasn't expecting from you anything more XD.
    Our goal is to make two-handed weapons be the weapons of choice for any player wanting to create a damage-focused character build.
    You mean, our goal is to make one-handed weapons a decorative one's.

    PvP Update:
    Even if you make pvp totally gearless it still will be unbalanced, because you already showed us how you are perfect in doing things wrong. There is no way that every class will be perfectly balanced. I agree with ppl that gems should be considered there maybe with some nerfs in value.

    Thanks to you I feel even better that I decided to leave my years of farm and do what every player should and that is uninstalling your game. I only wonder how many months this game will be live before it die forever.

    Sorry for my English mistakes, but tbh, idc about them, Im not checking them. There is even no point to try, because they showed us how they care about our feedback so many times, and the best example is anniversary event which I consider as the worst event from the all XD Only your company can make your own celebration event that bad.
    Well maybe if bugpoints would have their old owner it would stand a chance.

    Excuse me but i’m completely frustrated since I read what you call , Your Work …
    Total absence of knowledge of the game , Besides, even intelligence … Beleave me i have any intention of provocation , but it’s the simple reality .
    You took almost the wrong way to improve this GOOD game … you want to fix the players to kill monsters ... Yes , we kill monsters but for become strangers in PVP , we put money and farm and craft for that only my dear ladies and gentlemen’s .
    You did a great job in PVE , and what you have proposed is good too , but you need to know that it's enough for us for the PVE .
    Never forget that , if we are here is for the PVP
    You think a players farm for become strangers in PVE and not in PVP ? ….. Forget .
    You think a players pay for become strangers in PVE and not in PVP ? ….. Forget .
    For Shaphirs gems , if you want the new players have that gems put them on sale … if the news players want have saphirs they need to buy them with money like us …

    I did notice it last night ... some of the gems and runes in my inventory are multiplying with each map change :D

    Almost the same bug as the last time (when this workbench was introduced for a first time) ... but back then this bug was happening only during crafting on workbench.

    HOWEVER ... the executed script for converting runes and gems has NOT been executed correctly.
    I am missing a LARGE number of Supreme Runes.
    Test the script again before implement it on Live server.

    Trakilaki can you explain this (I can t log in TS)? I have 2 supreme runes of grand celeriy (16%) and 2 mighy runes of grand celeriy (12%), how will they be converted? Will the supreme runes be converted into the new supreme or will they give us 3 mighty for every supreme rune? Thx.

    I got convinced to create a TS account and character just to see this update myself... only took 5 years. :D Since I only have a level 21 toon at the moment and got dc'd and can't get back in due to capacity, I'll do a write-up of features I've seen thus far. Features that I am not commenting on doesn't mean that I approve - just haven't had the opportunity to observe them myself.

    Bugs
    1. Leave dungeon pop up.

    The pop-ups for whether or not you want to leave a the map for town are bugged. Wilderness areas like Swerdfield and Slifmoor both give this prompt when you try to enter the Towns. Wilderness areas aren't dungeons and I don't see them needing this pop-up.

    2. Quest guidance for Useless Rubbish unable to recognize workbench.

    I have no doubt there are more bugs out there. I just can't detect them because I'm playing with a brand new character as opposed to an existing one.

    Dislikes
    • New circle around champions (or whatever you call them nowadays :rolleyes:) look really shabby. The monsters don't stand out from the crowd. I prefer the appearance of the old circles much better--they made one stand out from the crowd and realize immediately that this critter is meant to be a threat.
    • Crafting quest-specific items cost a decent amount of coin/ander for a new player. It won't matter to the old players at all, but it sucks that it cost me something like 40 silver to finish Useless Rubbish and I get a reward of 40 copper. Suggestion: Reduce or eliminate the cost of quest-specific crafts since we don't really get anything useful out of it.

    • Addition of various runes from Gnob as I requested in one of my numerous suggestion threads. I'm quite happy to see that they will be offered for a decent chunk of drakens. This is an alright compromise for me given I missed many of those events and it seems re-runs will not be held, so thank you for that.
    • Levander got moved in KH so he's not on the other side of the map. Hooray, no more riding to the opposite end of the map! On the other hand, I wonder how much of KH will get used. It used to be just a few crowds around 2 NPCs: Smith, Levander, Jeweler. I will be interested to see if this means more parts of the map will get used.
    • No more repairs! ... I always forget to repair my equipment anyways. xD
    • Added all the PvP costumes to the Collectors bag. :) I was unable to find if there's a way to obtain all the costumes again, so if someone else knows, I will appreciate the enlightenment.
    • Offering dyes, pets, mounts, costumes, emotes for coin instead of ander only. I raised an eyebrow on this one. I am not sure what kind of economical model BP is pushing here. I mean, it's great for free players. It does suck for older players who bought everything at higher prices (I am one of those - 70k anders on lucky spheres for white wings when they first got released? Yep.)
    • Normal chests can drop dyes! Yeah, this one surprised me too. It's a nice surprise since I'm used to just getting coins or some useless green items.
    • Lockpick chests now have different loot - seems interesting. I wonder if the devs are willing to release a loot list? The loot has really changed from what it is on the live servers.
    • Collector's bag marks the pages where you have new things to add- very helpful when acquiring and adding new stuff to the bag.
    • Lockpick "brown bags" are highlighted when they drop so they stand out from the environment.
    • Revives have some steep discounts if you purchase the various objects from Father Fidelis in bundles.
    • The variety of buffs and potions being offered! Wow! I kind of question the balance, but I suppose we'll see how it plays out. Playing on a noob character does limit what I can mess around with. (example: I saw a +100 mana buff x 2 hours. The highest viable mana build I ever made topped out at 270 mana. With this buff combined with easy access to mana cost reduction runes, I am certain it will be possible to exceed 375 mana and be viable. Who even needs magic missile anymore? That's so yesterday.)
    • Green ess is now a valuable ess type since it's a % ess, instead of some trash you throw on 'cause you may as well. :D

    General comments
    • Removal of Jesters is not going over well with some of the addicted gamblers, but I can't say I'll miss them.
    • This forced Sapphire-to-Celerity-Rune and Celerity-Rune-to-Rune conversion is getting quite a lot of anger. I would say let people keep their Sapphires. Since you are taking away gems in PvP already, what is the point of forcing the Sapphire conversion? It gives no advantage in PvP and lets players build their own unique builds in PvE. Moreover, as people have pointed out, the Rune-to-Rune conversion is wonky and someone with a bunch of smaller runes would get a better deal than someone who combined all their runes. The fair way to do this would be to give an equivalent number of small runes for each large rune until you have the smallest type, then convert at the level of the lowest rune tier. Boom, fair conversion done. :p
    • I have been staying registered in PvP the entire time I'm on the TS, but I haven't gotten a single match of any type, probably because of my level. Therefore, I cannot comment with firsthand experience of balance or imbalance. But PvP has basically been dead for me since the day the Honor tree ceased to have effect in PvE, so I've been playing 99% PvE and the 1% PvP is me trying to get a clover daily. Therefore, this change doesn't affect me in any way that I truly care.
    • I feel conflicted about this automatic conversion to Qizah gems. On the one hand, my character will automatically get stronger. On the other hand, I have just wasted untold thousands of andermants when I could have just waited and gotten a free conversion? I think you owe your playerbase an apology, and then some, for that.

    Overall, I feel like this update appeals more to casual DSO players, new DSO players, and players who have left the game because of the lack of skill-based content. So... I guess it comes down to seeing if these players will fill the gaps of the departing heavy P2W who have dominated PvP since this game started. I hope this is the right direction you are intending to go down, BP, because once you get rid of your heavy P2W, I do not who will be paying for the future of this game.

    The one thing the devs forgot to do with this release is to change the name of the game. Because whatever this is it sure as hell ain't DSO. Granted, ever major update in the past has basically been 'reinventing the wheel' but this goes way beyond that.

    After a few hours on the TS today my general impression is a bunch of time wasters and useless stuff. I do not play DSO to pick flowers or dig up rocks. I do not need a thousand different types of potions (hell, I don't even use the few extra types that are already in the game.) I do not need to re-learn how to craft gems... and on and on and on.

    As far as PvP goes, I stopped doing that a year ago... so... whatever. (Actually, I started losing interest after the level 40 days but clovers got me back into until the summer 2017.)

    One final thought (and mods please forgive my loudness here)

    LEAVE MY DAMN SAPPHIRES THE HELL ALONE !!!

    I've just been on the teste server and looked at the new patch and i love it except for the PVP part. :) I can't wait for all the crafting and all the new stuff.

    people says gnob runes will cost 2500 draken each, BUT 20% instead 10%... WHAT IS GOING ON with my farmed drakens which i spent on my currently 14 runes of 20%?????? that means i farmed for 84k drakens versus 35k new drakens cost... even crafted a second 40% rune! (30%+30%+daily rune) ... those 30% runes also are 36k drakens versus 15k (new costs)... so i wasted 70k drakens because of this new costs :(((( at least you should refound the difference or update somehow the runes we farmed for.... i don't see any fair on leaving this new costs with no balance for people who farmed for months for them

    Well, I'm not sure from where to start ...

    Ok, first I'll note that this DSO forum is "The New One", and there was, once upon a time, older one .. Where I was active member :D

    I am f2p player, not because I am U18/U21 and can't pay or some other reasons, it's just because I like to compete with someone with advantage (p2w).

    And I almost succeed! Almost all gems royal, 2h (q7 & Witch) set full crafted, cube set crafted (t6 golden base + 4 enchant(both sets)) & runes one or few steps from max ...

    To get up to what I wrote above, I spend ALL my free RL time, farming, farming and farming so much that I've been asked do I ever sleep ... (ingame) xD

    And all of that just to catch up in PVP with payers, and man it was fun .... Real fun - I crafted everything + I have Kobold whole page full with 4 x golden line crafts for upcoming sets .. (28, yes :D).

    And now .... this MOBA like pvp is what we get !

    Ok, I'll not surrender or leave but I'll warn you(devs) - there won't be a balance with this changes!

    PWE - unfortunately, I don't have any interest in it, although I like those changes , adds etc.

    you have to understand that those things can happen

    I mean, it's even more outrageous that the armored skeleton costume costs 150 gold, while it used to cost 10,6k andermants, going by your standards

    Removing sapphires is so wrong on many levels. You are punishing the players that have been playing the game for years. I have been playing for near six years my sapphires were bought and paid for years ago. No one wants to play this game at a snail pace. BP is doing nothing less then stealing our money paid for those sapphires. Thieves
