    but i already said that it's a bad idea to implement moba pvp in the game, they have to combine equipment and ability in pvp, so that farming/ spending matter in pvp and also skill matters
    It doesn't have to be pay2win, if you spend you should be able to reach the top way easier and in less time, that's what used to be in the past, when level 45 was the maximum level

    But did they also reduce the drop of things? equipment andermants, gold,resources in general? So that's was the catch for making mounts/pets/costumes buyable with gold
    They should keep jesters in, but you should only be able to gamble gold, not andermants
    Since you cannot buy gold with real money, they should not have any issue

    Strategy? There will be no strategy in PVP. You are going to give DK's 40% travel speed and they will just run around. With 1.18 AS you will be lucky to even hit them. If you are lucky to hit them they will just use dragon hide. Same with Dwarf & SW just trough their guardian and turrets so you have to go tru them to get to them. No one will fight they will just wait for exhaustion . Just waste every ones time.

    I am back after a few months break and, I must say, I kinda knew all along and was expecting the devs to further distance the development of the game from what makes logical sense. I just don’t understand why certain people here (including perhaps the devs) are complaining about so-called “OP players” in PvP. So what if the top players have max level everything, all gold lines, etc.? Why does that bother them? All that means is that those players worked hard to build up their character (whether through spending money or not is irrelevant) and were clever about taking full advantage of the game’s character building mechanics. So what if some people are so “OP”? If they managed to create such a powerful toon, then what is stopping you? You may say “money is what’s stopping me”; actually let me enlighten you, that is a fallacy. To create a toon with top stats you don’t have to send a penny, just farm, farm, farm and craft, craft, craft like crazy and you will eventually get there. It’s not that hard. Most, although not all, of these people complaining about how difficult PvP is are either too stupid to understand the maths behind the various character stats and how to use them to your advantage, or are too lazy to bother creating a viable build for PvP. Such people enter the arena expecting to somehow magically be able to outperform their opponent when, the truth is, they just couldn’t be asked or simply didn’t bother building up their toon.

    What the devs are proposing for PvP is outrageous. Again, why do the devs want to all of a sudden curb the so-called “OP players” by deleting all their items they (in most cases) worked hard to get?
    What they want is no uniqueness, no diversity of builds, no interest in PvP anymore. The idea that this is “balancing” the game is so stupid; so their idea of balancing is too make everyone equal in the arena. Isn’t that what the communists tried (and failed) in so many places throughout history. Forgive me for bringing politics into this, but the devs seem to be making their decisions using the same principles behind communism. Principles which are priven by history to lead to failure. If these changes go through, it is sad but this will surely spell the end of this game that was once so varied, interesting and fun.

    Now, when a payer has become a god, he's no longer going to spend in the game
    They have two ways to extract value out of the game: they either make the level cap higher and make more powerful equipment, like more tier of gems, more tier for runes, forcing payers to start spending again
    Or they simply attract new players, which are virgin and wage war against their mind to force them to spend, to build them up
    They have chosen the second option this time

    Also, if you complain about the lack of diversity that the new pvp brings, you should be complaining about the pvp that is existing in the present condition, where there is no diversity, everyone has to use cube set in pvp and everyone has to use only 1h+shield combo, because 2 handers and 1 handers + offensive off hand are EDIT and you should also be complaining about pve, which is also forcing players to use 2hand, and the rest are screwed

    The gearless PvP is unsustainable ... it will crash the whole PvP if not the whole game.
    People who don't play PvP should not comment on "how much thei like the new PvP changes" because they neither know what PvP balance is nor they are affected with the PvP.
    But in same time PvE is affected even more than PvP is ... because these changes are making a completely new game that used to be named Drakensang Online.
    no one is talking about PvE changes and how much they will affect all the players not just PvE-ers.

    This script is giving the following items:

    1 week Premium
    25000 Gold
    10000x of every Core type

    Every Player that was active 3 months ago until the date of script execution (tomorrow).

    Actually, no one is forced to use anything in PvP. That is the one great thing about PvP as it is now; you can have your own unique build that fits your playstyle. You don’t seem to realise that, with what the devs are proposing, everyone will be forced to use PvP-specific gear, thus eliminating all diversity in builds and therefore the element of randomness in the arena.

    I noticed some things:
    - When you craft an item with inherited enchantments, you can't see the amount of gold that will be needed to revert the crafted item so you can get scammed if you don't have the needed gold.

    - Dwarf's C14 rocket still does not activate herald buff sometimes so i guess that was not fixed

    - I got "Glorious Second Place" emote for getting overall third place on the leaderboards

    Also loved the idea of leveling the pets, but shouldn't there be additional eye candy for the pet if you upgrade it to max level? :)

    Whatever you do, monitor the test server and sell your gem refiners before the update if nothing changes with respect to the refiners. 500 refiners is worth about 8 or 9 gold on the test server as of last night. It would be worth 200 gold iirc on the regular server.

    So that means the value of your 9384 refiners (3753.6 gold) would be devalued to about 170 gold if nothing changes.

    And gold is valuable in the r213/214 world.

    Feedback: I personally think the devs should consider running a script with the introduction of r213/214 on the live servers to autosell the refiners for gold so that we don't get to much howling about the devaluation....

    you can't, simply because cube set is stronger than everything, so you are forced to use that, that's the only set that makes you competitive
    Also, since you can reach maximum crit and crit damage with a shield,while also reaching maximum survivability 1h+ offensive off hand and 2H are completely outclassed by the combo 1h + shield

    There won't be pvp specific gear, and by that i mean actual gear that works only in pvp and is balanced for pvp
    I wish it was like that, so that gear that was "balanced"( it isn't balanced for pve, since 1handers are treated like untermensh in pve) for pve doesn't destroy the balance of pvp
    Infact gems, runes, enchants and glyphs should be active in pvp, they aren't the reason of the imbalance

    I also think that a new comer should not be able to compete against a veteran, i think veterans should have an edge, that's where gems, runes and the rest come in

    You are complaining about something that already exists, there is already no diversity ingame, either in pve or in pvp
    In pve, at least mages have a bit of diversity, since you can create actual different builds with blood mage weapon and q4 weapon, other classes have to submit to the devs dictate of "use q7 or die"

    First of all, I agree that enchanments, runes, etc. are not the reason for the imbalance in the arena. I’m also pretty sure that a few months back the devs said that they were considering eventually releasing PvP-specific gear, although I’m not sure how they said this could be implemented.

    Secondly, I noticed a glaring contradiction in your post. First, you say that everyone is forced to use the cube set, then at the end you say everyone is forced to use Q7. Make up your mind, which one is it? Also, I disagree that everyone is forced to use the cube set. What about all the people who don’t buy premium? I have seen many players who are successful in PvP who use other sets or just max level legendaries, without buying anything. The cube set is primarily utilised by tanks and some rangers, but it certainly isn’t a go-to set for damage-oriented builds in the arena. Yes, it is very OP HP-wise but the fact that it is only available to players with premium and is a super rare drop means that many people prefer other gear, especially like you said the Q7 set.

    Finally, you said there isn’t currently much diversity in PvP builds. Guess what? I agree, but at least PvP now has more diversity than it will with these new changes that will strip all diversity from the arena, so I don’t understand where your argument is coming from.

    PvP gear would have actually made pvp much more bearable and would have solved quite a few issues and probably eliminated the majority of the complaints
    That's was the route they should have taken instead of copypasting MOBA pvp

    What i was saying is that in Arena you are forced to use cube set if you wish to be powerful and competitive
    The fact that it is premium also makes this p2w, so those who are free have to accept being subpar and uncompetitive or give up their cash

    In PvE you are forced to use q7 by the devs, according to them deviating from their dictates is bad and heresy, you should be purged for that sin
    If you are a mage, you're luckier because you have the option of using blood mage weapon or q4 weapon, there are some builds that use them
    But the rest of the classes are forced to use q7
    And let's not get started about the fact that those who try to use 1h are treated as untermensh in pve, you can't compete against 2 handers, the devs are forcing everyone to use 2 hand

    My point is that there is already no diversity in the game, we have many weapons, there are even some weapons who haven't been updated( like dimensional rift/uzi/ warrior equivalent/ranger equivalent)
    Also you should notice that there aren't even unique 2 hand axes or swords that are usable by warriors, everyone is running around with hammers

    Neither pvp nor pve have diversity, the developers are forcing the players to use 1 build and 1 combo in both of them, instead of actually making other builds and combos useful
    People should be starting to selling them, before the storms comes

    Oh, and DSO people, here's another rule of thumb: Stop messing around with the attack speed gems / runes. Ok, you decided to stop the sapphire drop. If I want to use sapphires or new runes it's MY CHOICE. You can't just go around changing things in people's inventory.

    Do another crappy job at changing the gems, runes, whatever and stick with it. Don't bounce people around with you new and genius ideas.

    I believe. That it's a great idea to change the arena like that. And the novice will occasionally play on it, don't feel quite weak. And that would be good to put the character in the arena, you will need to wear things with hell 4, which will push players to develop. The only thing that will probably be right. Increase your running speed to 50-70% And the rate of fire is up to 1.7-2.3 Then the arena will really turn into a real action.

    To DSO Team,

    I hope you read this because this post maybe buried eventually.

    I decided to open a character in test server to check the content of R213/214.

    My review is in a new player perspective who have no knowledge about this game. Right now I just reached lvl 30. What concerns me is your crafting quest being given at painful and above difficulty. I was able to finished Disaster to Master 1/9 but took me sometime to clear Prison of Souls Dungeon. The collect Bone quest I set it aside coz i don't want to spend so much time collecting those bones. My Idea is to level up fast to 55. Now I'm doing Disaster to Master 2/9 ( the quest from Resistance command center). Again I managed to clear Stonekeep (without dying) and collect what the quest needs there. However that Sentinel Mage in there gives me a hard time to kill. Next dungeon to collect is Dragon Caverns (in my mind I know it isn't an easy dungeon). Well I died twice.

    I stopped not because i can't finish it, it's because of the following reasons

    A new player who is trying to learn the game could actually do painful mode? using a trash low level gear, no gems, no pots, no essence... no everything. So what will be the options?

    Find a group
    Ask to be carried
    Buy gear from the shop
    Buy essence ( try white one first, then green, blue and so on)
    Buy those all new buffs from the shop ( that's why its there)

    Do you think you could actually attract new players with this strategy? No! they would leave at once and move to another game.

    For whom your update is? For old players? No! You are messing up with them.

    This is clearly a show of pay to win model. It made me laugh because Pay to Win not in PVP but in PVE. LOL!

    I love this game and hate to say this but this game look scammy to me now.

    I still don’t see why you believe that the Q7 set is subpar in PvP. Many, many of the top PvP players use that set without even bothering to use cube set and still do really well in the arena.
