With the disappearance of the French forum and until BP abides by their promise to consider opening international forum spaces, is it acceptable to use French on this international (EN) forum?

While the forum rules promote using "proper" English, they don't formally exclude using other languages.

Now that the French speaking community is left "forumless", would BP be respectful towards this community and allow discussions to be hold in French on this forum ? Not all of them are able to write in English and using English to write questions on a game that is played in French could even sometimes be difficult, if not awkward. (Think of discussing about skills that you don't even know how they're called in English...)

    TIA for your answers

    Hey there @Lirielle ,

As you may understand, we don't know every single language. Personally, I do understand French, but I'm not fluent enough to answer properly. This is the English Forum, we are here to read and answer in English.
Do not forget that BP is studying an international section (unmoderated one) where, probably, every community whose foruns were closed can have discussions. Until know, we haven't received any information regarding that.

    Closing.
