New class ?

    Yo,

    French player back from the deads (Stopped DSO since 2017, at lvl 55 Release), I just wanna know if a 5th class is planned for DSO one day ? Because that's the only way to bring me back on the game currently.

    If you remember, few years ago on the official GM's stream, they announced a 5th class (A rogue/assassin class-type), and in 2016 we got this video from the game produceur ( ). <- At 10:43

    So, is it still relevant today, or not ?

    Would be nice, but that wasn't in their recent road map for early 2019... Which is a shame. DSO needs more diversity.

    tecnically a fifth class was planned some time ago
    but it is not in the works now

    It's seems hard to implement this now... Maybe in 2-3 years or maybe never, who knows...o_O:rolleyes:

    Hey there @Cépadrowle ,

    That video was released in 2017, almost 2 centuries ago :)
    As @sargon234 pointed out, it was planned to introduce a 5th class in-game and even some useful ideas were made for skills and general design. However, priorities have changed and adding a new class is not going to happen soon.

    No, it would be not nice, because BP will make new class super OP in order to grab cash, as they did it already with dwarfs.

    Let me tell u short story, after pinata ban some ranger banned friend of mine, created a new dwarf toon, after 4-5 months his dwarf toon was almost stronger that mine after about 3 years playing and spending money.

    So, not for me, I do not intend to create new toon, and dont need another op class for bp to grab cash.
