Hello,why you don't write anywhere i will can't enter the circus after event will end now i have 600 enters because i was saving them like it was last time.

It was known that you could not enter circus after the event, as with other passes to different event maps

 

Well, it was known to people reading the forum, and reading the forum thoroughly. I wasn't sure about it either.

Now, I don't want to mislead or anything, but I think the red line saying that you can only use the circus tickets when the event is on, wasn't there in the description when DtU was running. Or was it?

What I mean is, the game should do a better job at letting people know, preferably in-game, what no longer works. And I don't even see this in the 216 or 217 patch notes. I consider any other source to be unofficial.

 

what do you mean by "saving them"? why didnt use them during event?

 

You would surely have known it, if you had interacted with the forum in due time. Now feel lucky if sooner or later you won't read the feral message "this item is not used anymore".

No, it wasn't. At least, the Italian interface didn't show it. And lot of people asked the same thing in region chat: I do not think they were all blind.

Devs made this surely in purpose, to let many people waste tons of RFs to stock up on entry tickets, as it happened the previous time.

Buy a big quantity of them, just before the event finishes, then freely use them anytime, during the following weeks/months.

 

Thats true i was not reading forum but why they dont write it somewhere visibly.This event is here for many years and there was allways possibility to enter this event in any time.I was "saving them" because i have many frags and not much time to do this event .

 

why dont you buy a big quantity when event starts and finish that "big quantity" while event runs?? im a bit lost here,why you dont use them while event runs??

 

I buy quantity because i dont need frags and i was thinking i can use them after event end.I dont have time to play drakensang every time so i cant use them all.

 

i had lots of circus portals before the event & they stopped being active quite a while before event started

 

Of course you buy tickets during the event in order to play it meanwhile it is active. But, till the previous edition, people were used to buy additional tickets before it ends, to continue to play it even during the following weeks. This because devs gave the opportunity to enter it indefinitely even after it officially closed: you just needed to have some ticket left in your inventory.

Now they changed this behaviour and the additional tickets can't be used anymore. Maybe for the next edition, but who knows.

For sure they didn't publicized too much this fact. Mods in this forum informed us in advance but, if you are not used to follow the game's news, maybe you were not aware of it. You just bought lot of them, in the (wrong) belief to use them later...

People have real life and don't live in the game.
I had around 1800 portals before the event started ... now I have around 600 and I still can't spend them. I have spent only 1200 and I haven't bought any ... during the event.

My three main toons still have lots of portals remaining.
I have alts that still have some as well.
I could have budgeted the portals on my alts better by running to Thabo to buy portals one at a time until I reached my targeted progress... Not!
I suppose I could have ignored my irl obligations during the last 48 hours of the event. And played 24/7 just to use up portals. Again... NOT!!!

 

if you dont play 24/7 and have such a interesting life why do you wine about it?lately runes may drop in secret lairs and draken cores can be obtain from all event bosses,circus entries should be valid once a year during the event!!!

 

I get the feeling you don't actually play. Draken cores did not drop from 'all event bosses'. Whether the passes should or should not be available all year long isn't the point.

The point is that DSO failed to make it very CLEAR on the passes themselves or anywhere else that the circus passes would not work outside the event-- that is a change. Notification on the passes-- which is THERE, now that it's too late-- saying that the passes could only be used during the event would have solved a lot of confusion and upset for players.

 

You are seeing it from the perspective that you spend absolutely all your frags blindly without thinking that it is something with a specific duration.
Is not about playing 24/7 or not having a life.
Is about being coherent and buying passes according to your playing time and possibilities.
Who has said that we should be able to use all our passes bought with ~60k frags?
Doing between 100-200 entries per day during 2 weeks is more than a good event, more than good rewards, more than enough, and to do this quantity of entries you don't have to be 24/7 here.
You did not spend all your frags? Well, you were not supposed to do it.

I wasn't whining either ... I wasn't talking about myself I was defending the other players from annoying people like you who always tend to make their game time miserable.

 

not only is not my concern but its something that i cant care less, i want to know what give you the title of "defender of other players" because if you cant talk in your name please dont speak for others...the circus entries should be used only when event its on,on same logic BP should bring dragan event just because you have some forgotten pearls in your inventory?hell no!
