    100% correct. APRIL FOOL'S!!!

The values are capped after 10 levels of upgrades.

The crafting bench shows me getting over three thousand per line, but in reality, it is a little more than 700 per line. The item is actually not that good at all and I just keep it as a collector's item.

That shield of yours does have potential. The Bock Strength line is higher than any platinum available at this time, and you can't get %Block Rate on shields anymore. Combine those with some %BRotI and you'll have a beastly shield.

@_Baragain_ and I have had, a long time ago, the discussion about upgrading the levels and I thought that we had agreed that it was capped at 10, but then I thought that maybe something I didn't realize had changed and got hopeful.

It's been a very very very long time since someone has gotten me going on an April Fool's joke.

Great item. Yes, I know it was an April Fools joke, but still hypothetically let's think that this was possible, and some Tank got hold of this item. Perhaps let's say they upgraded the item before the cap was introduced.

Now, let's see if this item is really worth it.

For me as a 2H build, I wouldn't switch my 40% attack speed Glove for this item even if I gain about 60k more life.
Because, I can already defend against any Infernal IV boss, and having 60k more life wouldn't make much of a difference. Yes, I can probably do it with my eyes closed, but a reduction of 40% attack speed means, I would do much less damage. So, it is a very each choice for me, I would keep the attack speed Glove.

Let's think of a Tank build. If it is an up and coming Tank with less than 200k life, Yes, this glove would be very attractive. They would switch without even thinking to gain another 100k.
However, if it is a seasoned Tank with 300k or more HP, they will think twice before switching to this Glove. Some may, some would still prefer the 40% attack speed glove.
In case of stronger tanks with more than 400K life, it wouldn't be attractive. They would much rather have the 40% attack speed glove.

True, but it would be fun to reach a 500k or 600k HP build that would be otherwise unreachable.

With the best runes (40% HPotI Runes and the two types of Christmas runes), gems (Magic Amethysts) and a full HP amulet/helmet (45% each), a shield with 46%, the Cube set for it's 50%, Augment the gloves to T8 (for the base value), wisdom, 27% HP pet with all bonuses (57%), etc... these gloves could theoretically give (14245+2000+2990)*(3.00)*(1.00+0.80+0.10+0.12+0.90+0.46+0.50+0.57)=256.7k

So, under ideal uncapped circumstances, these gloves could give more HP on their own than some respectable tank builds have total. The idea of being able to reach over half a million HP just seems fun. HP regen of over 10k per second from the taunt, over 10k per second from a Ring of Life, the natural regen, regen from helmet runes... I could see this hypothetical build regening somewhere between 30k and 40k per second while tanking. I can't think of many bosses that could put out that much sustained damage. And then there is the HP regen from a Bloody Wild Swing crit... at max, it would be 21% which would be over 100k HP. The tank would truly be immortal with just two skills.

That said, as the tiers get higher, that much total HP will be possible in other ways and this item would quickly become totally worthless... Still, it was a fun April Fools post... better than the official video DSO put out IMHO. :p

    Post release EDIT:
Remember that "5 Platinum line shield" I bragged about before? It's enchantment break the Stat Quality (maybe SQ for short?) tool tip. Same with the April Fool's item.

You are probably doing some mistakes in Your calculations. It is very possible to reach those numbers without that kind of Gloves.

When I said a Strong Tank with 400k I didn't mean a Super Tank. A super Tank would have more than 600k HP.

And a fully capped Tank can get to 705K base HP or about 840k HP with the buffs without sacrificing other defensive stats.

Yes, the Gloves alone would give 256k, but without these Gloves, If they still have regular Attack Speed Gloves, then that would also give about 95k HP. So, the difference is only 160k.

Which is 865k instead of 705k.

I didn't calculate the total HP of a super tank... just what the gloves could get. As you point out, they could get about 160k more total HP than a pair of speed gloves. Assuming that is accurate, then the principal stands; those gloves could make an HP build unrivaled by any other. Sure, speed is likely more useful, but insanity for the sake of insanity is still fun.

Some unique uncrafted items break the SQ bounds as well.
Example? %HPotI on uncrafted roshan & yachak gloves. Not sure about the versions for the other classes. Witch Chaser Jerkin fails misarably as well - but only on ranger.
Most of the legacy lines break it, as I am writing this I checked my locker. And not just up the bounds... some don't show any number, some show a number in bounds... some lower lines than that number but on a different kind of item (boots instead of a ring) show a number far above 100%.
Well, they didn't even try to make it work with the old lines, and that's not really where it is needed.

My first real 4 platinum line legendary:
That %HPotI line was intentional. I calculated that I could still reach x5.0 crit damage with only 11 platinum crit damage lines on my rings/amulet. That opened up the possibility of either 73%+ HPotI line on a ring or a 11.8%+ HP line on an amulet. The 11.8% HP line would come out to about 6.8k HP in my DPS build (where this item would be used), while the %HP line will be worth 17.8k HP in the current build, with that line becoming even more valuable as I upgrade a few more amethysts to Royals and then upgrade those royals to Improved and Magic Royals. The mathematician in me saw a no brainer choice and went for it.

Can someone tell me if i can craft my royal rubies from 60 dmg to 90(blue book) with out go to 75 (green book) first.. I mean to skip the 500 clovers book and i go for the 1000 clovers book..

It doesn't work like that. If you look at the recipe for the Magic Royal Gems, it takes an Improved Royal Gem as one of the ingredients. There are no short cuts for this process... just hard work like the rest of us are having to put in.

Note the color of the text and the damage of the ingredient gem. Good luck, and happy hunting.
