Warriors are weak on pve

    Before the 220 release it was already clear that the wars were much weaker than the other classes. While for example a mage with 47k dmg could inf3 a war with the same damage he did inf2 (Obs: I am considering green essence / Obs 2: My friend is a mage has this damage and I am comparing his character and mine/ Obs 3: This is before r220). My war currently has 50k dmg and x4.70 critical dmg and the damage dealt is ridiculous. In the bug of great desert inf3 my biggest critic is 160k (white) and with essence 190k (blue) and this is unfair since the other classes do damage over 300k, while warriors besides having to attack the short range still do not have enough damage to match. If we compare with bosses of pw the difference is even greater. Something must be done to balance this, after all, war is currently being ignored since the other classes are self-sufficient and can do everything (whether solo or in a group) and the wars in turn can hardly do inf1 currently without essence, this is another point to be lifted. The other classes can do boss with blue even green ess, but a war to match the time to kill a boss has to wear red. I hope I have been clear with what is currently happening with the wars.     Lol, you forgot to mention, no one even needs a war in their team anymore. Anyone with a few hp royals can buy hp buffs and tank inf4 cuz of new "potion buff". that aside, wars have thelowest dmg scaling abilities of all classes AND the worst area skills that can NOT be spammed unlike all other classes

    No need to be royal, with flawless (HP) my friend does inf3 bosses. And now it takes me about 2 min to kill any inf1 boss on pw.

    the only problem is not dk (they can add break armor to use q7 bonus if they want) it's the cooldown of potions..
    now you can just stay without move, spamming your skills and potions, and stay alive... just need to use it after everysingle attack of bosses... that's the real problem.. make a shorter cooldown ok.. but not 1 sec... and perhaps a strong dk 2H or tank will turn back usual..

    and no comment about the power it giving to every class except dwarf, who spam stronger skills who cost mana, EA, frozen sphere, smash, good idea to balance class but 1 sec... mana mage set will love it for sure...

    your class is done to be stronger in melee, not to get the same dmg as others, you should use the same time make more attack whyle the others take care of themself, keep range, die if they don't miss boss'attacks. And atm no need it so yeah you're slower, what a surprise...if 2 stunnned chars attack spamming hp potions when they need, the dk will use more time.. you teached me a crasy thing..

    i never said you were not the worst pve clas atm, you're, i just explain that's not the good issue. But looking how all noob crying for the 220, BP won't get the balls to increase the brain of boss, the dmg they're doing. Increase just life won't fixe anything, and i repeat again more with a potion that i can use every sec...

    oh btw the dk i play is probably stronger than yours ;) i m just objectiv.. and waiting they revive dk in pve you're still good in pvp with mages so what's wrong?^^

    Edit : potion hp is the first thing i describe (3sec cooldown should be better...or like before r220) but mana potion increase the difference betwiin dk and rangers/mage.
    now you can make movies using 3 things potions hp/mana/ and your frozen sphere for example.. so dumb.

    Saying dks beat mages in pvp
    heck I don't pvp and even ik you don't go against a sw in pvp
    pve dks are toasted

    How are you measuring it? "weaker" - in theory? in maths? (not sure how you'd compare classes that are not even similar with maths though) If in practice - then based on a feeling. How do you know that your feeling is correct?

    The mage is played by one person. The warrior by another. This is no proof. One can be simply more skilled than another.
    Even if they were played by the very same person, one could be more skilled with one class and less with another.
    No proof here.

    Something is wrong here.
    Strongest possible single skill hit of a DK is with smash with the 5p. talent. It's 240% base.
    50k * 2,4 * 4,7 = 564k
    Sentinels have 60% armor I think. Not more anyways.
    564k * (1 - 0,6) = 225,6k - this is the biggest crit that should be possible for you...

    Meanwhile, reasonable DKs talk like this:

    Stop it. Since quite a time I hardly ever see any class discrimination. Well, maybe discriminating against all the classes but the dwarfs (since q7+q8)... but certainly nobody prefers a mage/ranger over a war if he is strong enough. Mage, ranger or even dwarf has to be strong enough, too, so I don't see a problem.

    Most bosses can quite easily one hit such a person, especially so after the update. It takes way more than "a few hp royals". Also, you do realise how much does it cost to spam potions in such a manner? Everyone would cut through their whole supply in a few such runs, and then run out of gold, since they would spend more gold per run than they would earn.

    Yep, totally they can't be spammed... let's look into it.
    BWS - 1s cooldown, rage retrieving, lasting debuff during which other skills can be used, + healing from crits (no, it doesn't require a group)
    MWS - 3s cooldown, 40 rage cost that instantly is regiven because you get rage by taking damae, + healing from dealt damage = full HP (on hordes, but that's what you're asking about with the "area skills", right?)
    FotD - 1s cooldown, continues to deal damage while you can turn back and do other stuff, slow+stun (in case you might need it)
    Rage Swing - why not? no rage cost, no cooldown, decreases enemy dmg if you need it, deals additional bleeding dmg, regenerates your rage, can easily hit 10 enemies (yes, tested)
    All the above can be almost spammed, and when somehow they can't (especially MWS), you can use other ones.

    On top of that:
    Charge - 5p. for the cd reduction
    Rage Jump - it has an AoE, too
    Ground Breaker - no, DKs have no ranged attacks, what else did you think? /s

    People, the only reason that thing was implemented was so that people would pay for andermants for potions, so that they could use them as much as they want... but it doesn't help anyways, so...

    You must be bonkers. Every other class has to spam potions (=pay andermants, gold or real money) to attack stronger, while q7+q8 dwarf (sets aside classes are balanced in PvE) still attacks stronger and doesn't have to use potions (well, in fact they can to attack even stronger, but usually they don't do it).

    Don't they? Well, we don't know, 'cause everyone is abusin', yeah... but I still think that a honest DK would beat a honest mage.

    Actually me and a dk with 52k damage, well he had 334% cd too.
    Anyways we found the cursed amphora in varholm on Sunday night.
    He used reds and so did I.
    We did not make it.
    The cursed amphora got away on infernal3.
    I had enough crit and so did the other guy.
    He is actually a q7 user.
    I am 100% certain a sw with similar stats would have blasted that cursed amphora to kingdom come.
    Yeah we have healing, so what?
    We are also in the middle of the fray all the time.

    my war has 3.3(max cap when using q7) attack speed, max crit inf4, max crit dmg and 67k dmg with white ess and with asar pet on boss, mages with 50k and karabossa pet kill the boss faster and the Maps too, how is this fair?

    One of the problems are DK vs Goblin from scaling dungeons (liar goblins will not comment). For any ranged class they are just sitting ducks and they don't have problem with them, but DK have very big problems. Maybe lowering HP by half and adding attack skills for them will make them somehow equal for all classes.

    Solution to the DK problems would be a subclass system. Each would have a weapon proficiency (best with 2h, 1h + shield or 1h dualwielded/1h + offensive offhand), each would have specific state buffs, specific skills and talents.
    And yeah, wisdom "tree" is kind of weird now...

    After your comment I went to test again to see if it was wrong. According to his calculation was for my war to crit 225k, but the max q arrived was 168k, being that the sentinel regenerates 163k of hp. So it is a bug? I test in grimmag inf1 and in the first phase my biggest crit was 202k, in final phase was 168k. Do not you agree that it's a very low damage for someone who has 50k dmg and x4.70 crit dgm?

    I totally agree when they say that war is the class with defense and regeneration, but we also need a reasonable damage to do certain things and in the current state this is much lower than expected when compared to the other classes. I would expect a max crit of 280k for my current stats. This does not seem right ...

    Or perhaps BP can just apologize about the way choosed with boss. More hp is not rlly necessary, thye have to be harder, that's not the same thing...

    they just increased life to see what's happen when all breack armor from 4 classs are working on 1 phase/ 3 on a boss to see what's happen. What's about do thoses real test on test server, find a good issue than put it on dso? If tests were serious, they will see the problems and increase the skills boss instead of their life...

    Where is the old jump of grimmag? was cool to studently see him rush us, have to put back the range, get a reaction. Why he can't do it anymore? or ignore the summoning things to rush the summoners 1 time every (1231142412 ?) sec? why he can't make a fire explosion like herold, but faster, or only to kill someone 100%. On great boss there are sacrifice members of grup where the death has to happen. why it's possible to finish a dunjeon with 100% sure i won't die?
