Egg openers have way too low a drop rate. Before we were getting good amounts of them from the arena, now that they are gone from there we need more of them dropping from mobs.

 

The drop rate of egg openers is terrible indeed!!! If had known this would happen in this anniversary event i would keep the thousands of egg openers from the last event. You guys really wanna drive players insane, right?

 

Have to say drops from chest are good.The bad thing is this event requires alot of realm fragments, we just had DTU event..i tryed killing boss to get arena chip.. 20times azar no chip drop....only hardcore farmers finish this...

OK so feedback: Where 2 begin?
-Droprates of egg openers is BAD! REALLY BAD!
-Droprates from bosses (arenachips) are allmost nonexistant!

This event most people still left in the game, will ofc not be able 2 finish, due to the lousy droprates!
Having killed 400+ bosses now, and dropping 2 arenachips, I phail 2 see how I am going 2 finish even if I put in insane amounts of playtime...

A shame really, considering that once Ur in the Arena, that part is actually pretty well balanced!
-only 5 waves!
-U dont have 2 wait long between the waves!
-drops from arenachests is actually OK!

But considering I have played for 6 hours and dropped just 2 arenachips, and also bought 1 at the insane amount of 1000 ander...
AND also considering that I havent even gotten any progress yet AT ALL! (the 3 arenas I played all gave me 7 chests I cant open, since I havent unlocked those areas yet... This event is yet another bust!!!

And Im not even mentioning that Ur promised "walkthrough" is ofc non-existant...

...I guess I could go more in details, but why bother? Its not like the devs even read this anyways... *sigh*

 

20 realm fragments for 1x dracanian arena chip. U must spend thousands of realm fragments..why is boss arena chip drop so bad ??I think they want us to buy chips with anders...

 

...and buy anders with real money...
...which isn't going to happen in most cases.

So, about event:
Good design, good variety... goodish rewards on the very end only (not sure if con... or con)... but, bad drop rates of openers, bad drops of CoT, mediocre rewards along the way... and on top of that, exp items in the progress for suspicious reasons.

 

As bad as the event is now, it would still be worth putting the time into if you still got truncheons from the anniversary arena. Why would you take that away? Not worth playing this time around.

 

Eggs are in every map Pw and old world. Seems like 5 every map.

 

Well, the arena is much faster now, and the rewards are nice
However egg opener drop is too low, coin drop is too low and farming for crystals of truth and truncheons is impossible

Anniversary Arena. Inf3. Final wave boss, Voltan and Papan. Instant death from their stinking breath. How are they killing me? I keep my distance and he's not even attacking. But I still die from nothing.

 

You should not be able to use the Forfeit Chests for any bar you haven't yet opened. It should also be very clear that a bar is or is not available. Maybe add an overlay saying "Closed" or change colors. I understand wanting to see the rewards for unopened progress but there must be another solution than having all the bars look the same. Even the arrows being numbered would help clarify things.

 

Also has anyone ever dropped a chip from the bosses? The mods claim that arena chips drop from bosses, but none of them drop chips
Is this some kind of joke or urban leggend?

 

I don't understand how to start getting event progress. Gone in and haven't gotten anything. 0/6000 Duria is there some kind of glitch?

 

When you clear the arena, you'll get Forfeit Chests. Only open the ones for Duria until the Duria progress bar is full. Each chest gets you 30 progress. BE CAREFUL which ones you open.

 

Can someone please tell me how to get event progress...it says i cannot open forefeit chests until i activate that area...but doesnt work now ive wasted a dozen chests trying....wth.....why make it so hard??????????

 

check the progress bars 1st is duria and those are the only chests that will give progress. When that time line is done the next is norselands. etc etc.....

I still think DSO made this event way too complicated to get progress...and frags to get in are ridiculously high. Way to blow it and hose us over game. well played

 

I finally good like this event, rewards are awesomes and accessibles.

My technique is to get approximatly 150 chests of all regions from normal arena, buy some for duria and get all other in each progress bar.

 

So, play general Arena, get a random chest for one of ten (10!!!) progress bars, while also collecting egg openers and truncheons. I have no room in inventory .

On top of that, 4,000+ frags for each progress bar? With each successive player nerf / boss buff, I get pushed back another step or two. As a result, I can't kill the dragonknight in the Duria arena using purple essence, and I'm certainly not wasting red on these rewards, so only 30 progress per (successful) Normal arena trip.

I'll give it a couple more hours, but I think this event is over for me before it began.

P.S. Afterthought / related question: What's the maximum size of a realm fragment drop? I get 2x now and then, but don't recall ever (other than from a Full Moon quest box) dropping any higher quantity.
