    Hi,

By no means it's a complete list, but his is what I can remember from the top of my head:

    • completely re-designed UI: You are aware that the whole UI looks like a 90s game, right? You really need to completely trash it and keep up with the times. Hell, open a contest with some meaningful prizes for a UI design and I'm sure you'll get a better looking one. I promise I participate (it's my job).
    • add a sell/melt all button: Why, why, WHY do you force people to go through the torture of having to click 100 times per dungeon run? What's the point?! We all sort our crap and the first 4-5 pages are for loot that probably gets sold or melted.
    • make the smelter like a vendor: If you cannot bring yourself to do the above change at least make melting easier. Why in God's name you'd limit the melting to only 9 items? It's utterly senseless.. it's not like the servers would overload if you right click to melt without a limit.
    • more complex sort-by menu: Right now you just allow sorting of items by a single rule. Why is that? You should add SORT BY RARITY, SORT BY TIER, SORT BY PRICE. That's not too hard now, is it?
    • buying items in bulk: Personally, I stock up with potions. I buy at least 200x at a time. You do realize I have to click 200 times. It's finger aching and mind numbing. Just let me hold shift (like the item split) and chose how many I want to buy.
    • set grouping: We're hoarders, we're collectors. Add the option to stack set items. For example: If you drag the Bellicose Helmet over the Dragan ring, the item will change to a 'set bag' with a little number in a corner showing how many items from the set you have. If we want to use them, right click on the bag and just like other bags, all the items appear.
    • all event items, in.. event items: I feel ashamed I have to tell you this.. but if you did make an event items page, why aren't event related items on that page? That's quite dumb, right?

Pro tip, to tickle your money-oriented scheme. How about adding and UI item, after you've redesigned it? Think of EDIT. You can buy UI skins. You can sell UI skins too.

So how about this? Instead of ""working"" on updates that nobody wants and calling them useful or pretending we asked for it, how about including these (and a few more small changes) in an update, that'll GUARANTEE community satisfaction. It's a sign of respect, if you have any for us.

    Thanks!

You see, you can't recover a melted item. That's why you put them in the smelter and then you have to confirm that you want to destroy the items. That said, smelter size could be expanded, but it's not an urgent thing to do.

They should make less items drop with more lines (so that we would get the same amount of lines from the same amount of runs, or maybe slightly bigger, but have to sell less crap). Gold should just drop in bigger stacks and bonanza (wisdom coin bonus) should work on integer silver stacks and integer gold stacks (it doesn't, it's a bug). Glyphes? Well, if the changes were to be radical, glyph item value could be increased.

"Keep up with the times" - I don't like the words. I don't like "keeping up with the times", because it's usually an argument for stupid things that are new and can't offer anything past the fact that they're new... so that argument is brought up.

While UI could be changed, its look is not really that problematic... the one problem is that it can't be scaled/hidden by parts, and the second one is that it doesn't allow us to use our skills when we accidentally point at an UI element. Anyways, I believe there are more urgent changes.

Well, I admit that customizable sorting as well as customizable auto-loot are really interesting features that should come sooner than later... still, more important is fixing PvP and balancing the broken economy (by for example making the crafting more consistent by giving back all the four items on revert, thus allowing us to increase our chances - simple yet effective change).

An OK feature, also it's not that hard to code. They've already got bulk mechanisms for crafting.

You do realise that it's a hell of work, it's debatable as a feature, and it's not even that useful? Like... isn't giving us double the maximum space in inventory enough and way simplier to implement?

Thing is, they're throwing there only items that are used in crafting. That said, I'd really like to see most event items there... maybe with icon-marked (like the pages in the event window) sub-pages (like the I, II and III in other categories) for different events.

Actually, the whole smelter thing could be fixed simply by auto melting the first 9 items when a 10th is attempted. Then the 10th item becomes the first item of the next set. Repeat.

    [EDIT]

I don't think i am the only one wanting some of these changes implemented. let's put aside our personal feelings and try to get some of these brilliant ideas out there!

Also, some of these are very basic ideas and I dont even know why they werent implemented long time ago - some QoL changes are past due and should've been implemented ages ago.

Unfortunately, all these changes are valid to improve the game.
But BP just listens to itself and doesn't listen to what players say.
She only thinks about the financial, because .... Launch modified items to be used as Skins ... BUT ... you need to spend to use ...
The right thing would be to spend to buy and use to be free ...
Neither BP support is good, automatic messages and they don't help your problem and just make it 'Go to the Forum'. As if my problem would solve here.

Nah you guys are joking with this, the first thing that must be done is a complete game engine overhaul so that people aren't getting horrible lags/glitches/crashes etc. on certain maps.

Exactly. Can you believe that I’m running the game on a $500 graphics card (GTX 1080) only to be getting ~30-40 FPS in Kingshill, R.C.C., Jarlshofn...

Well fraps dont work on win10 but the 64 bit client did seem to improve my experience by quite a notch

If you have an Nvidia card, use the built-in FPS counter that comes with the Geforce Experience software. That’s what I’m using at the moment to measure my performance.

I find gforce experience inacurate at times when it comes to configuring games, I am still rocking a GTX 970 though, looking to up to a RTX 2060/2070 or a GTX 1660 ti sooner or later hopefully for xmas xD

Either way though, the client is nothing than a browser wrapper specially dedicated to DSO so to speak.

I should let you know though I dug into Nebula 3 engine quite instensely last week.

It would seem there was a young developer of it for up to 5 years after Radon labs seized to exist, in my opinion he is literally brilliant having gotten as far as he did on nebula engine.
He was busy with so many things
He even made a github for nebula 3
The amount of tests he did is insane
He was even looking at turning nebula into a full windows installation, therefore no need for a temp folder location
He was busy with graphics advancements of nebula and a whole array of things
If this is allowed @admin if not please remove.

What DSO needs are new developers. Begin with that, then work out the small details.

I wouldn't mind that at all but there is no warranty new one would solve issues. Actually chances may be slim. [EDIT]
Easy to say "new dev" but issue is that with current state of the game there is constrict range of potential good devs. Dev switch may change nothing if it's not good type of dev so i wouldn't say rest is "small details";):p

Actually the client can be used as a internet browser ... Baragain and I have been using it long time ago. There should be a thread about it (or at least posts).
Are you sure about that? :)

Have been using that in IE too. The few times I did login over the past month I preferred 64 bit client
according to google radon labs seized operations in 2010

Either way though nebula engine is out there, and there was individuals working on it independantly.
I do believe that if 1000 volunteers worked on Nebula3 they could have made something amazing
