    I suggest,

Glyphs of Infinite Power or, up to 50 levels above the ceiling.

Of course, more and more material would be required!

    Benefits ...
    * Expansion of game for Infernals 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 ...
    * Use of other equipment (besides Herald), for example: swords
    * With effort, New players with more time to play can accumulate melted material and not be so weak when playing in strong groups ...
    Comment and vote please!
    * Better PVE Performance - Solo ... Higher Damage + Higher Resistance = Better Time

    Thank you all!!!

    Please vote!

and we can kiss goodbye to any sort of balance

new players are going to be weak in groups with strong players because they're new players, not because of glyphs
Also, if this idea is implemented, what makes you think this is going to bridge the gap between the strong and the weak? You know that strong players will be able to put glyphs in items too?

Hell, it'll probably become a self feeding cycle, because strong players are already able to farm more quickly than weak players and with this they are going to accumulate glyphs faster to the point that their growth will be faster than ever, which will in reality widen the gap, defeating the purpose of this suggestion

Also, what makes you think that they aren't going to increase dmg, health points and defenses on bosses to compensate for this increased power for players?
if anything, this is going to worsen performance

    I vote no

If we needed a (semi-)infinite progression system, there are lots of better options to make use of.

Any option that does nothing but make some numbers skyrocket is a no-no for me per se. This option is bad also for the reasons sargon stated above, and especially due to the gap widening.

The only hint of anything nice in this is that the cap for item increase needs to be increased from 10 levels above original to 20-25 levels above original (still with the overall level cap of +5 over character level cap).

    Otherwise, no thank you.

Well, maybe if it was a matter of choice between craft and levels...

Think about it for a moment:
Half the power of a strong toon is enchantments. So a newer and weaker toon who doesn't seem to be lucky at the work bench, could attempt to partly close the gap between himself and the strong toon by spending a lot more time farming glyphs instead of trying to craft.

The choice would be between a crafted item that could only be leveled up, say 10 levels above the cap, and an uncrafted item which could be leveled up by, say 30 levels.
The numbers are obviously arbitrary, ok? It would have to be calculated so crafting a 3 or 4x platinum item would still be a better item than non crafted one with some 20 more levels on it.

See what I mean? This way, the game would reward genuine dedication to farming, and not just the amount of luck you have at the rng work bench. Your non crafted, but fully glyphed up toon would still be worse than a fully crafted toon; however, the power gap between the two would be much smaller.
I think this might also keep your interest in crafting anyway, because full glyphs would still not be the most powerful option.
Also, you'd have a feel of constant progression, as glyphs can be collected and added to items all the time, while getting enchantments at the work bench is a matter of 6 months, or 2 years of not moving anywhere, so basically being stuck.

You mean farming 53 hours a day? Because we're already farming about 31 hours a day to keep up with the pace.

I think the problem with this scenario and the responses given is two fold. Most of the No votes rgue about the power gap between weak and strong players, which is real in PvP, and this would permanently ruin an already broken system. I could care less about that because PvP is the most boring part of this game for me.

In PvE, in theory, this is a great idea, but you have to understand the cap exists for a reason. If we were allowed to grow any stronger, we would be able to farm higher mods more quickly and effectively, which is not what BP wants. @sargon234 pointed out, our benevolent dictators have already buffed the bosses to near impossible levels because they want us burning through essence and resources faster, in order to fuel their insatiable greed. They will never do anything that makes life easier (or more fun) for the players.

I've been thinking about this, I to an extent think if players could have an animal spirit, which would be a secondary wisdom level so to speak.
Haven't totally wrapped my mind around it yet...

At first it sounds awesome, but then you have to take pvp into consideration where the strong will only be insanely infinitely titan god level stronger than other players.
Take players like Proto @Slabutul9 for example he has 1 billion glyphs.
Insta jump into infinity for him. 200k damage
I am certain there is more players like him, he wont even need a shield, boom dragan pouldrons lvl 105
80% block rate heck he will even have 80% armor and resist rate after armor break <- which used to be a thing in pvp.
There is also another redundant aspect to your proposal:
except for damage and hp all stats peak out at 100k.
when r220 was on ts lordemonsok could not even reach 60% armor or resist with 100k of each stat :O
So how you wanna farm infernal 14 with stats that peak out on 100k?
Please see this for calculating upgrades with glyphs of power however it is pretty old:
