LAGS ON DRAKENSANG ONLINE

    hi my drakensang is lagging its sometimes below 30 FPS, why ? my setup is I5-6400, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB RAM. so wheres the problem i run gta V no problem 60FPS , so why drakensang this low ?

    There is nothing wrong with your computer.DSO is based on Nebula Device engine by Radon Labs(defunct company) written in C++.
    Nebula engine last update was back in 2013,so it is already very outdated.When you are trying to add new features into a game using an
    ancient engine already pushed to its limits,it is normal to run into problems.

    I started to get some serious lags with the 64bit client. I almost never had lags with the 32bit client.
    So now I have a choice to play 32bit client with constant nebula crashes or with 64bit client with ugly lags :(
    Not sure which one is worse :rolleyes:

    Check your shortcut (DSO(64bit) should be used)

    Yes, i am using that one - but with that one I have the lags. Usually the lags gets worse the longer I play. :(
    When I use the other shortcut then I have no lags, but nebula crashes all the time :D

    Yup, that's the price for using 32bit :D

    Which OS you use? Maybe your lags have smt with issue which isn't @reddenis case ^

    Since the portals are very slow, it might be a better idea to change the game name to DrakensangOFFline :)

    Do not forget to immediately extend the PVE season as also DtU, the portals are still incredibly S .... L ...... O .......... W !! Thnx
