Suggestion 1H Weapons should have reduced essence cost

I would expect this to have already been suggested but I could not find it here or on the Discord channel.

The title is the whole suggestion, but perhaps the simplest implementation would be to reduce the essence cost by 1 for every 3.

This is not the best way to modify the situation and 1H need other buffs too, but I don't think the devs can understand math more complicated than this.

 

You're wrong. The math you presented here looks too complicated for them already.

 

give to "idoti" spells the same value of 2h weapons and it's enough, superficial but enough, I don't see the reason they should be lower than 2h weapons… well, not only 2h weapons… even gloves and boots have higher values, lol

 

So, if the BP overlords respond to this or even acknowledge what you said (Which I agree with even though I don't use 1H) is they will announce they are "Reducing the essence drop slightly (Read slightly to mean to near 0) in order to help balance the game between new and old players, and encourage players to use the 1H meta. Then they will pat themselves on the back for listening to the community.

 

What about lifting the Crit Dmg cap?

I know suggestions are ultimately meaningless because they manage to do everything almost entirely opposite to what most players want. What can we do? BP owns the servers soo...
