Feedback Stellar Gold Event (May 2020)

How many sentinels did you kill? Please be aware that sentinel at "Great Desert" map does not drop entries at all.

 

I didn't count them but I certainly exceeded 80-90 sentinels. In Stonekeep and Loxley Caverns alone, I did about 30 raids each.
I've been to the FBI, Rootrock Cavern, the Great Desert at least 10 times each.

 

3x bosses in this event 0 draken core not worth doing it at all tho

 

The event is basic and boring, but the gold fairy is a reward worth grinding for. The extra resources from the bonus codes are quite generous, and guarantee some polished / radiant gems. I agree with others here that the final progress bar reward should be a guaranteed gold fairy. Many complain that recent events are cash-grabs, but you don't have to finish these events to benefit from them. It's frustrating to see great rewards that you can't reach, but I would try to ignore it and enjoy the objective gains.

~ what i like about event map ? the map design is okey. and i like that shooting star as you reset the map.

~ what i didn't like about the event map? it doesn't show a counter to kill the first two bosses and more importantly i hated the mini bosses attacking after the lain boss is dead also the late explosion over the boss loot

~ What was your view of the difficulty of the event? I would say about right except for herald that i find it more op for the selected mode.

~ Did you find the event interesting, or was it a bit of a grind? It was a lot of a grind. to be honest i completed it just because i needed drakens for gnob upcoming sale. so the event is everything except interesting or fun.

~ What, specifically, could be done to improve it? Good question.and i hope you take this into consideration:

1. make the 2 first bosses drops at least loot and some cubes.

2. make the 3rd boss drop drakens.

3. all mini bosses and late explosion should be removed after the boss died.

4. remove the arena debuff or make it for attire users also.

5.reduce the entrees gold price. it's simply too much.

6. make the pet a guaranteed drop. how? well if you took the previous points into consideration player will still farm the event even after getting the pet. make it just like dragan event (the pet drops at the first run inf1) then new players can still go in groups and op player still farm drakens at higher modes.

7. instead of doing 400+ runs to get 6 keys + 8 keys from bonus codes while other have much better luck than others. it's not rewarding for the effort put in it. and also the fact of some get more radiants and other polished. so my suggestion is removing all cosmetics keys drops from bosses and just make then obtainable from progress bar + put some high level gems(sacred-royal) chest just like in DtU.

~ What was your view of the rewards? the rewards are very bad some gems along the ways are ok but a mount final rewards and no keys no andermant no runes no pet... the rewards are a huge fail. also the cosmetic chest should at least drop 50-100 drakens seeing how rare to get that keys
~ What rewards would you have preferred (no Lamborghini's or Ferrari's, sorry).? see above.

Overall review​

This event was a huge disappointment and very expensive as hell but i see potential in it if only you took half of the suggestions here
ps: i got the pet only once (i'm glad i did not like in sewer event) so gl with the drop and random chances.

 

I'm up to over 140 runs (think I'm closer to 160, wish I'd kept an accurate count) and no key drops, no pet drops.

3 hour cloak and spent the first 30 to 45 minutes running the 25 passes and then the next 2 hours running for sentinels to get a whopping 6 passes in the first 20 minutes and nothing after that. Sooooo glad I didn't buy that terrible cloak.

 

Feedback for the event: so, i completed the event( no, i didn't reach the white wolf, i already have it and the prizes and the effort needed to reach it are not worth it), i reached the white alpaca.

The design of the map is very good, as usual the art department is very good at its job, it's really wasted on this game, really.

The gameplay of the event is very bad: this event is literally pay to win, as no free players is ever gonna be able to complete it.
So that'a another bad event.
Key drops are nonsensically low, i only dropped it 5 times out of tens of runs of event.
Fairy drop is also very bad, your RNG sucks, it's time you actually fix.
There are guild mates that still haven't dropped it while i dropped it 3 times in less than 150 runs.

 

Fully agree. this event is the most stressful, frustrating and unfair in history of DSO. Why ? all my guild members dropped fairy, but not me. I said ok fine, after 350 runs (YES !!!) I dropped 5 keys. I have white alpaca mount already. Continue ? Well I will try couple of times. It is only a game right ?

 

Same. How many realm frags did you have when you started? Talking around, I have reason to suppose that players who had high quantities have been strongly penalized about the drop.

I still have a bunch but I already stopped with this tedious event, I never waste my resources and don't want give satisfaction to these fool people, better they go learn how to work and act as adults as they are supposed to be.

 

I had 23k frags prior to this event, and i dropped the fairy in 40 runs, so i don't think i was penalized.

 

I typically refrain from posting comments in connection to events. However, this time I will make an exception. I have grown tired of this game over the last year or so due to all the increasingly obvious pushes to demonstrate DSO's seeming lack of future vision for their game as it relates to the player base. Any new event can be said to have decent to better artwork connected to them which is nice but the overall vision of making them only completable by paying for cloaks, entrances and/or essences is wearing thin with me. My playstyle has always been a bit of a grinder as I am almost exclusively a solo player, however, I no longer enjoy nor can tolerate the hyper-grind of this game.
As for this event, I was going to pass on it but logged in (after several days of not) and saw the bonus codes and decided to just play with what I got from them. The bonus codes were good in that they at least allowed me to experience the event for myself before forming my opinion of it. The new arena set-up was nicely done and fast to navigate (I opted to play it in fatal mode). I ran 10 runs in which time I got 1 key drop and the fairy pet (which was my sole objective all along). This concluded my event! I saw no reason to continue due to the overwhelming costs associated with it. The gems are great for the newer players and all those who haven't yet had the time to create all royals. I will keep my resources for better things than events of this nature in the future (if I stay around that is).

Jokes give fun. There is really nothing fun here. There is only one stumbling block to achieve a reward that never comes. A game by its definition should produce fun. This actually produces only stress and long-term disgust. I used to play this game after work and I felt the benefit to empty my brain playing something brainless but somehow always fun, now instead I just feel like I work overtime.

What i find not too goo in this Event on this Event we must fight against the same enemy evrywhere you go in dracannia you must fight Always with the same bosses… there is nobody who can creat new bosses monsters for BP? Why should we fight everywhere whit the same bosses????? After 103 round I get the pet, its not so bad. They have only the same cliche for the Events no creativity only mindless grinding…..

 

Over 300 entries, over 18900 progress on third bar and 0 fairies. My friend dropped 3 golden fairies in just 5 entries, really.
In my brotherhood everyone dropped a few fairies (I have the most event progress). So I don't know how it is possible.
I can't believe that is really random.

Ok, we do not need 50Gb, but if it weighs 1.5Gb and the number of monsters is doubled and the boss would weigh only 3Gb, I do not think it is that much to double the number of maps, monsters and boss.



The event is boring and the rewards are not worth the effort, EVERYONE as soon as he gets the fairy leaves him, I took it out after 156 races with my dwarf, now I accumulate passes to try to get it out with the war, which, logically, as soon as I get it I will not continue doing event.

The event is repetitive, the passes are scarce if you are not premium and you have a good amount of gold, the monsters and boss are reused, the rewards of the bars too bad and if it were not for the fairy I doubt that people would have entered to do it.
