Feedback Curse of the Black Knights - Return of Dragan

You said this right. It seems that the doctor orders people to finish the events: they talk about it as a matter of life or death.

For me it is only a matter of having a utility that is greater than the effort, since I no longer enjoy playing and I keep up only for affection to my character.

In the previous Dragan the rewards were excellent and the length was fine, however boring but feasible. Now, instead, while the rewards remain good, the length has quintupled, and with it the wearies. Here the effort greatly exceeds the taste. And certainly my commitment to finish it.

 

Did 30 runs today, used all amphorakeys , 0 pearls. Yesterday 30 runs 1 pearl . This is just not right, period.
Event structure is wrong. On my mind event should be playable trough also for noobies with limited time so they are able to push their toon.
Then those who has extra time should have other things like drakens, glovers , cores, gear with gold stats etc. as reward(like it used to be).
This current approach simply will lose players from this game. BP cannot be that blind to not understand this.

 

So where am i supposed to farm red pearls? i mean... 10 sidemap runs, 0 pearls, another 10 sidemap runs, 0 red pearls, another 50 sidemap runs, oh look, 2 red pearls. ***. happy with a few pearls after 100 runs, but oh wait, i need another 150 red pearls. so let s see, need to do another 2750 runs on sidemaps, to farm enough pearls to finish this damm event in the great hall, solo. Group is not worth it. In group need 1500 runs on dragan, even in full groups/5 you need 300 red pearls. so ehm... then i need to do 5500 sidemap runs or something? and that quest that gives 3 red pearls is nothing good either.

Also, last event we got about 1 bellicose set unique every 10 runs or so. Now we still get 1 unique every 10 runs, but the loot pool is bigger because the defensive dragan set from the spider has been included. But we all want bellicose, not the other. so basically we get 1 wanted unique every 25 runs or so.
I have no problem putting in some work for an event. did so many times. But the grind is getting so much, i just dont feel like playing events anymore. I used to play and finish all events, even with hard grind and kept farming after finishing because it was fun and the reward was worth it. Now i skip or at least not finish half the events that come our way. Just not worth it. It s too much grind and not enough fun.

 

More than 20hrs and it is RNG. The only guaranteed red-pearls are if you kill 80/2000 in castle and the 1 daily you get from killing dragan. Everything else is RNG.
Has nothing to do with being good or bad, its about luck/RNG.

 

I play dragonknight, and it's game very-very-very bad game! Dwarf play easy, dragonknight dead! Classes balanced ZERO!

It's terrible RNG and the rates are poor. RNG is one problem.
You have a way of buying the way around. P2W is another problem... or at least their intent of it being P2W, of inciting people to pay.

Now, look at all other people writing here. Who is writing the way you are? No, it doesn't make you unique, it makes you a fedora neckbeard.

And yes, he can be a spokesperson, because literally nobody here agrees with your basic stance 100% and most of us consider what they did bad.

Well you have managed to ruin a perfectly good event. You have taken it from group participation to a solo event. Would like see access to Ghastly Grave as group play with a permanent door in Castle. Also Battleground and Great Hall should be group play. It's just more fun even if a higher level player brought a lower level with them would not make any difference because items that drop should be level dependent, but will help to bring lower levels along. Guaranteed would be higher event participation because everyone likes to help their friends get pieces of unique equipment they need and the possibility of getting something for themselves. Don't care much for Wild Forest at Night...but making that a group event with it's own door would be a positive for all ... that mean players and Big Point. Don't understand why you don't see the advantage. Please up the counter (to drop more often) on unique with yellow and goldlines in base value.....would be a nice gesture.
Enchantments we can work on, but can't do anything about Base Values. Probably some things I missed, but these are major ones. Give it some thought; let us know. Thanks

 

What happened to red pearls drop, drastically reduced, solo.

So only option is doing rune farm with group, to try get red pearls, although is good option, shouldn't be the only.

Because some players have 12 hours to play daily, don't limit the others, because in the if others stop playing in the end hardcore players are just by themselves so they change game for sure .

After watching the video I gave up on doing the event.

 

Basically break the rules and do multiaccount instead of asking devs to ease the red pearls drop or any other way to make the event viable for every single player, that obviously want to play according to the rules and decency.
Those youtubers constantly recording themselves breaking rules, using autoclicks, etc. but nothing ahppens to them, never ever.

 

Did you like ... missed the entire thread? There's hardly any positive feedback. People are upset everything was nefted, nobody was punished for great hall abuse, and event was made X times longer. The game feels like a 2nd job for at least a year now and negative feedback flooding both boards and discord are just a confirmation for that.

Do you really enjoy grinding the same boss hundreds of times? Do you REALLY?
Do you really enjoy grinding the same maps hundreds of times for the 10th time already? Do you REALLY?

If you do you will have as much fun assembling pens ... But good for you.

But I guess the steady decline of the game is happening because of black magics not because people are sick and tired of having pretty much nothing to do besides grinding for 20h for 4% critical damage increase or royal cyanite and replaying boring content served with as little thought put into it as possible.

A bit more people will leave and you'll have more than stellar trash and event cloaks - please welcome event passes wholeheartedly!

Things change only when you show how upset you are and how much you dislike them (through variety of actions - posts, informations, reducing gametime, leaving the game for a while, not paying for services, etc.) because otherwise its assumed that its good enough.

And then these clueless people in Berlin wonder why people keep abusing bugs and exploits - the fact that you only punished the biggest offenders just shows you dont care about enforcing your OWN terms of service. Its all about damage control.

BP is many things, but a nice company that listens 2 their playerbase and respect their opinions, they are NOT!
BP cheats, lies, steals and cons their playerbase! All that is true! -But the LEAST we as players can do is BE BETTER THAN BP! Why should we sink 2 their level and make untrue claims like: "This event is P2W!" -when its not? "This event has terrible RNG-drops!" -when it does not? "I dont wanna play 12 hours per day!" -so DONT! "BP is forcing me 2 play DSO way 2 much!" -uuuhm nope!

What Im trying so hard 2 say is this: BP has NEVER listened 2 their feedback from the playercommunity. PERIOD! -yeah sometimes they will pretend 2 listen, when hundreds even thousands gets outraged by the most recent bugabuse, but they know that these abusers are good P2Wpayers, so ofc they will try and kick as few as they can!

Try to do same thing in Gloomy Pastures and you'll see that most probably in Iron Forest there is a bug

Frankly guild was testing it it didn´t quite work but someone called me for the very same thing at pastures and it worked so i dont think its forest only bug

 

Many people asked for changes and BP knew well what they were doing this event in terms of length and droprate.
Asking BP politely doesn't change anything becaus ethey want it that way so we pay (or we leave).
Plus, it is not rulebreaking as long as they are not multiaccounting (maybe they just take turns waiting in map, who knows...).

It's not a bug, it's just the classic "map with portal opened" stuff. Kinda came out big a few days ago because people needed a way to farm this damn dragan progress.
It already existed previous event but noone was doing it:

Now, with the bad red pearl drop it's SADLY the fastest way of farming progress(gives half a great hall progress per run) + draken cores.

Some would say it's bug abuse, frankly I don't think so since this mechanic existed for a long time (you could do it for easter event with inf3 - inf4 egg cracked open for example). You consume a lot of cursed pearls doing it, it's not like it's free.
Only thing not allowed is to use an alt account to lock map open but you can just use an "idle friend"

 

It's a bug for me.
A few days ago I crashed and when I tried to enter in Gloomy Pastures I got the message that "the group had finished the map" and we killed only Cadoc...so if it is a classic "map with portal opened" why I got that messages?

And I tested again. I removed the weapon so I'm sure that in INF3 I don't kill someone, found Cadoc and killed him and his guard.
Then I entered in Mystras and teleported at KingsHill. Then I tryed to re-enter in map and I got "your group finished....." and I enter in a new map.

Please admin give us a feedback so if it isn't a bug all of us can use this mechanism (when it wortls)

 

Ah that's quite odd indeed.

Didn't try any other map since iron forest was the obvious best choice with the length of the map + the easy access to entrance (just be a dwarf or die 20m after entering castle).

Obviously now they will just remove this mechanic because it's not the way they intended people to farm this event.
(who will buy pearls / attire if you can just do it in a normal amount of time ...)
They will do the same thing as with the rat king last event (locking access to new group members if he was in) => lock map access once cadoc is killed.

Quite sad someone decided to do a video instead of just spreading mouth to mouth ... because now BP knows there is a decent way of farming the event ...

 

Well 115k pearls for inf3 isnt normal amount of time still
It is just a way to do it w/o hundreds of red pearls which dont drop at all while normal pearls are quite farmable by rune farming in D.E.S.
