    Hello i have idea how we could change pvp to be more fair play. I think that pvp should be the same for everyone. I have idea to all players have the same set for pvp. How it could looks like ? Everyone after join pvp would get universal set and he wont be able to put it off on pvp . After fight his last set would be restoered .That would repair putting off items bug as well + everyone would have the same chance to win it. I have my full 60 lvl items acc on low pvp and i'm not afraid of make this set useless.

    Your idea sounds good , but imagine a centurion who has not farmed the same hours like others nor has the ability to farm i7 to get t10 items. That gets him in the same lvl with others items-wise , thats not fair.
    Many ppl in the past proposed chagnes like this etc but lets be honest , pvp is so dead specially in ur lvl 40-49 bcs game itself is dead too.
    U see in the arena the same ppl over and over.
    They need to fix pvp system so badly bcs with lvl 60 coming they lose a lot of ppl again like the last 3 expansions.
    Thats why u see scammers in 20-25lvl have multiple accounts and get thousands of points per day.
    And as usual BP does nothing.

    No and no.

    We've had players asking for things like this in the past and the one thing we got is an even more broken pvp. First they have to fix the exploits (I think they're onto some of them already), and maybe make the move and attack frames the same again, or just increase the move frames a bit, or simply fix the bugture that with moving just one pixel with a macro after each attack people can shoot faster than with stand-and-shoot.

    On top of that, they have to take other measures to make the PvP good... like skilltree changes and special PvP gear. However, they're working only on the expansion right now. Once the expansion is here and basic fixes to it are done, they should start working on a massive PvP update, so that we could see it live in spring 2021. I'm pretty sure it's doable.

    You MUST be a DK.

    This idea does not work at all. It would me that every DK would win every match and no other class would even try. DK's have too much natural healing. Even now, on the rare occasion that I don't take off my gear and just die, I have to take every DK's health bar down 2 to 5 times while that DK only has to take down my SW health bar ONCE.

    I got a better idea. REMOVE PvP from the game all together. Then it's truly fair for everyone.

    You forgot that this is MMORPG game not Moba
    In pvp u should have normal gear with normal stats
    If u are farming more u have better stats on pve and on pvp.
    The only thing what they need to do is NERF stats on pvp for all
    For example
    -80%hp
    -80% DMG etc
    Now dso is heaven for bots - u dont need farm or eth just put bot on i3 than on i4 than on i5 when bot get u 3 entrance to i6 u need waste 2-3h to get full eq t10 and herę u are
    In this way u can do bot char on arena in 2-3 days after u get 55lvl and u have almost the same stats as9years characters - nice game

    Thats true in this times drakensangs old players dont have gear adventage compared to 1 year players or even less. Im not playing DK, just mage. Twili deleting pvp is not a way for repair this problem , pvp in this game is one of the best attractions and a lot of players would leave DSO. This game need restructuring cuz its too lonely for more experienced players and only pvp and swerd keeps them here. MIWEL i see you dont agree but on pvp should only count skill. If i have player who farmed his pvp eq on bot and i dont have glyphs and eq i cant kill him cuz he need 2-3 shots to hit me down but i need much more.In this game should be new pvp skill tree easier to achieve and more powerfull . "rankeds" shouldnt count on mentor points , just winning imagine i have 190 wins 20 loss on pvp and guy who have 18 wins have better rank pfff. It could be 20 -30 lvl get 2 points for win 30-40 gets 3 points 40-50 get 4 points and 55 get 6 points for example and it should be counted thats how this rankings should work... @KulawyMao pvp gear should be better if u play pvp , pve gear should be better if u play pve, and what i said i want better pvp skill tree.

    I'll tell you right away, it's IMHO. For this game is to introduce two different universes PvP and PvE. From a mathematical point of view, it is very difficult to balance the arena, because the damage values can vary by an order. Single base values and skill balancing in a pvp are the only chances. If you lose because you don't have 10th rank things, and you can't get them, it makes you disgusted with the PvP concept itself today. Dude says the right thing, and she's been talked about a lot before, and I think she's the only one who can run a dead PvP.

    P.S. I have all the items on 2-3 gold stats, and I walk in them on PvE, so it's not profitable for me, but I think it's right.

    Honestly, all eq should be working, but the hp and dmg should be altered by a homographic function on official PvP arenas. This is the solution Baragain proposed back when he was still playing (he talked more generally about utilising some functions for this purpose, using a homographic function similar to the armor&res converting function is my idea here), and that's one of the best ones possible (maybe the best). It isn't probable honestly, but this alone would solve many problems, requiring only some skilltree changes and unique item rebalancing. It would be less work, but well... they chose the even-less-work crappy solution, and now they're probably going to build something upon that, if they ever get onto that, that is...

    Functions I am talking about, for reference:
    Code:
    Damage function (would be applied to both min and max dmg):
    f(dmg) = a * dmg / (b + dmg)
    
    Health function:
    g(hp) = c * hp / (d + hp)
    
    a, b, c, d - specified, level-dependant constants
    a = unreachable dmg limit
    b = dmg adjustment coefficient
    c = unreachable hp limit
    d = hp adjustment coefficient
    
    Example:
    const a = 30000, b = 20000, c = 150000, d = 100000
    character 1 in PvE (some dps char): 70000-90000 dmg, 200000 hp
    min dmg in PvP: f(70000) = 23333
    max dmg in PvP: f(90000) = 24545
    max hp in PvP: g(200000) = 100000
    character 2 in PvE (tank): 5000-8000 dmg, 800000 hp
    min dmg in PvP: f(5000) = 6000
    max dmg in PvP: f(8000) = 8571
    max hp in PvP: g(800000) = 133333
    In other words, values too high get decreased, values too low get slightly increased. It would force people to build balanced chars, and not glass cannons or uber tanks, because those would fail. In the above example, the tank probably has some armor, res and block advantage, but his damage is too low for PvP. The dps character has high enough HP to sustain however. Of course, the constants could be adjusted, what I provided is just an example. It shows however how much power this idea has.

    This is a great idea that can be developed and implemented. I would also take away the critical damage and the likelihood of it being caused, as he is often the one who chooses the winner. So we take the block, and the shield will give absolute strength values.

    Although, to be honest, I'm closer to equalizing all the statistics and balancing pvp. Completely eliminate regeneration, both active and passive. So that everyone has health according to the values of his class and I could think tactics during the battle. It's not possible now for several reasons, but the main one is two types of regeneration.

    I can see that my translation is distorted. I just want to say that, among other things, all probabilities should disappear. My victory or defeat should depend on my tactics, but not on the ephemeral "random".

    Random, or rather factors independent of you (and of your opponent(s)/teammates) will always count. For example, lags or min-max dmg gap. Removing blocks and crits has no point. And regarding the crit dmg/block strength: It isn't in the new state window they showed in the last stream, while all the other states are there (+ some new ones, like hp regen or travel speed). It's possible they're removing it anyways. Honestly, in most games there are crit mechanics, but the increase is usually static (or only improved by some special items, even if by a lot, like from 2x to 4x). If everyone is forced to redo their eq anyways, they could as well just make that change.

    The fact is that if it is not up to you, then the victory belongs to the server that generates random numbers, but not to you. There are very simple mechanics, for example, you have 100 health, the arrow strikes -5, the spear strikes -10, if you carry a shield these values are reduced by half. Ping and the state of your computer shouldn't worry me at that second. You could also say that a bad sewer has prevented me from winning and so on. If you can remove the middleman, he must be eliminated and the game will be more fair. I think so.

    You do not understand me. I was talking about values in which your role will be greater. I can't influence the ability to block the damage, but I can influence the strength, I can't influence the critical damage, but I can influence the damage. I have had hundreds of random victories or defeats, where neither I nor my opponent were the initiators of victory. All this is a simplification of the system where you let the machine choose the winner. Just look at the top games with a cyber sports component, where the probability of your victory is almost always your merit, yours and your team's. Although, they are probably just communists, hmm...

    I think you are new in game to put your mind work how this game must work , or how be better ...cuase people in this game who they work for this dont think too mutch !

    pvp is totaly broken after his moba version thats mean is free for all and frre for all cheats ... Our gems and good items with crafts works against the botters , cheaters , macros , now we are completeley uncovered and just we dont play arena as mutch we want and like ...

    All this , moba pvp and free for all and ZERO money for the bugesang open the opurtunity to them to make money from farm ..So they prepared and maked this well to start pay for finish our Events thats even worst than pay to win in arena .. its pay to play this game ..

    And i finish .... in this area ..creative corrner... Was many many many thoughts how this game will be better... I can say ZERO player thought come to live server :) :) :) true fact
