Asking for some advise

Hello everyone, I'm a lvl 50 dk, playing with a sw, since I have a damage dealer such as the sw I'm building my dk with 1h and shield, focusing on more defense than damage. However I've read some posts and all I read is that dk is not as useful as the other types in higher levels. So my question is: is it viable for me to go full tank? Or should I resign. I repeat again, I always go with a sw in group, so I have dmg, all I do is tank the bosses. My current stats are : dmg 800, hp 23k, armor 74%, block rate 40%, block strength 71% and resistance 51% in all. With this post I'm trying to look for advises whether I can be a decent tank in higher levels or not and also if there are any sets that I should focus on and how to max wisdom for a 1h dk, thank you.

Right now the game is mostly broken for DK, Gibit gave the best advice.

But from lv50 to lv55 it doesn't change much, you can level your Dk without any problems. November 24 is the new expansion, so everything you read is valid until that date. Maybe in October there will be the new expansion, playable on test servers, from that moment you will know how it works and if it is worth playing with this class.

In what alternate universe is November 24 late summer? I think the ancient aliens will return before we see this expansion that we have been hearing about FOREVER.
