    I am not trying to attack you or anything but it is very annoying people speaking things they don't understand while in same time acting like "I told you this - i told you that".
    All you said is incorrect and i understand you. I understand it was a lot more easier for me (and old players) to play the game almost from the start and process the information in real time , change by change update after update , updating my database and knowledge gradually in a consistent way throughout the years ... to date. It make sense to understand things better that way.
    On the other hand it was very difficult for players like you because you were disadvantaged at start - by starting the game relatively recently. That is a disadvantage because you had to understand the game retroactively how was working in the past ... so you would understand the present and make correct prediction for the future.
    However, you have not understood it quite good. That will lead to more errors from your side in the present and future.
    So, without attacking you or anyone else, let me point out 2 things you don't understand. I will do it in two ways - factual and personal (biased) ways.

    Factual
    1. Those who scream "geared PvP is back" are having conflicting memory blackout, because Gearless PvP was never implemented in the game. These latest changes where gems and runes and enchantments are not working in official arenas were meant to prepare the players for the implementation of the Gearless PvP. That by itself is not a gearless PvP because the items are still the same only with some "options" (features) turned off. Gearless PvP is not present today and was never implemented to date. Go back and read what "gearless PvP" is and what does it mean. Today we have a halted transitional process that is neither rerolled back nor upgraded to the new "Gearless PvP" system.

    2. On top of the turned off gear feature we are having implementation of forced mitigation of skill use. The truth is the 3 skills bar is realistically picturing the future of the skills. When you see the new skills and talents and when you think logically ... there is no need for more slots because you would be limited to few skills in the skill tree in the first place.

    Personal(biased)
    1. These new changes with the new game on TS, are actually paving the way for the "Gearless PvP". With these changes they could either implement it in whole OR implement it partially - depending on player's mood (if any).
    Gearless PvP is inevitable with these changes.
    Today with 55 levels, players are struggling to get a match. With the future 100 levels it would be mission impossible to get a match.
    Therefore they will put all players in same pot and make matches with everyone regardless of the level. (go read back what gearless means and what it is bringing on the table)
    To achieve that ... gearless moba system should be enabled where level 10 and ( --- || --- ) level 100 players would participate in a same match. They can't find players at all levels so they would make fights in -+5/10 levels.
    Therefore players and gear would scale.

    2. The new butchered skill system with cooldowns on essential skills will supplement the gearless moba no matter if only a partial or a full version is implemented.
    For me this new system is a big joke and i will not even comment on it because I am struggling to find neutral opinion expressed with words that would not be redacted.

    So all in all, dude stop making fool of yourself. I am trying to say in most friendly way.
    Dude I have you in my friends on my official fake Crapbook ... that speaks a lot. I don't have many people put in friend list on the official fake account :p

    I will try to learn the new things and make guide on how the players mitigate the damage as much possible.
    So far they should not destroy the surplus of gems and jewels.

    BTW the new way of upgrading gems with dust is actually good ... unfortunately I can't test anything since yesterday.

    I to an extent understand that they are trying to implement variety with the limited skills slots, the problem is that that in itself is useless because, there is best in slot skills, and all players will use only those per class.
    As for the ce itself, it is what it is and no amount of anything is going to change what it will become.
    If the game dies, it dies and the world moves on, in spite of the amount of passion it has awoken with some players over the years.
    Personally I would have done so many thing so much differently:
    1. 5 skills slots
    2. no cooldown on previously spammable skills.
    3. higher base damage for smash
    4. % increase fo skills damage per level and not flat additional percentages.
    5. a lot more uniques, and a lot better sets.
    Yes the new uniques are good to an extent, however, if we had what we had with many of the old uniques the game would be a masterpiece.
    I would have loved to see the q7 set as a trinket set for example
    or the q4 set
    the new golden dragon set seems good
    6. I would have made the elemental damage % of skill base and on level 2 would let it stack to % of base up to 25-50.
    7. I would have pushed for geared pvp with uniques and everything else not "gearless" or your version of real gearless either

    And are they really keeping this visual aspects? Character stats all black? Icons less recognizable than before? Less color difference?
    Less contrast? Its harder to recognize the items, if thats going to the future please stun me in the past

    do we want to talk about them shamelessly bringing back sapphires after grand sapphire theft?
    do we want to talk about the enforced sapphire conversion to runes?
    do we want to talk about another enforced conversion of 1h AS runes to universal AS runes that was even worse than the first conversion?

    go ahead and dont forget to throw some money at BP so they can convert your *insert name here* after glorious patch in a year or so

    Personally, I would have done things even differentlier:D:
    1. 10 skill slots
    2. no cooldowns at all
    3. even higher base damage for deadly blow than it is on TS (remember point 2. above?)
    4. more OHKO
    5. a lot more gems and a lot more better skills
    6. make all skills deal only elemental damage, make physical damage count as an element
    7. make PvP gearless and gearful at once by making all the gear hide automatically on PvP (yes, this includes torsos)

    They definitely destroy this game . People spend a lot of time to get their sets on the highest mode and tier . In some situations a hundrets bosses must be kill to get it. Rangers and Dwarfs can do nothing without q7 .Now all changes havent sense . And all changes are made with mages in mind :( A lot of old players quit the game after new release . No respect for players who collected thier equipment . Think wisely not just what's taking your mane and what's not . Don't be blind consider other profession .

    What I would like:

    1. Remove all new cooldowns that are right now on test server
    2. Fireball without mana cost is OP, change it
    3. Bring back all Q1-Q9 sets and NERF Q7 set (people here on forum can tell BP 10+ different options to nerf Q7 set, there is no need to remove it completely)
    4. Wolfs for ranger are kinda too strong now (should have less hp)
    5. We need 8-10 slots for skills
    6. Buying health potions with materi fragments? You must be joking.
    7. Buying some weird tool that cost lot of andermant to chop ingredients? You must be joking.
    8. Change the color of set items (icon).


    One thing BP guys: If something is OP, like Q7 set, like turrets for dwarfs, like explosive arrow -> Do not remove it completely (Q7) or do not nerf it by cooldowns, so they are useless. Just nerf the damage. We, players, we like diversity. We don't want to jump from 'everybody use Q7' to 'every ranger use wolfs, every mage use fireball' etc. We want to have maaany options, many possibilities. And you know what. We hate cooldowns.

    Several more feedbacks
    • Grimmag in the TUTORIAL needs mega nerfing. 800 HP - I do 1 dmg per hit, and with red ess, I hit for 2 dmg.
    • Wait, hold on. ALL bosses are insane it seems. @_@ I was level 17 RA in a party with a level 17 DK and a level 22 DK. A level 17 Heredur took ages. Why does this dude have multiple shields, on normal mode no less? If you want crazy stuff, do it in higher difficulties, otherwise your new players won't ever want to go to bosses. Waste tons of time, resources and for what? A few green items and some copper? Please, please, rebalance your bosses, at least on normal mode. They should be challenging, yes, but not frustrating to the point of causing people to quit and with a reward at the end so bad it's literally crap. It also should not be a "requirement" for players to run into higher levels and find chests to get better (or at least higher leveled) equipment before being able to do a boss of their own level. That would be beyond ridiculous.
    • I was informed by a DK player that Dragon Hide healing seems to be bugged. I don't know firsthand since I don't have a DK on TS.
    • Unsure if it's a bug or not, but... Opal Splitters at the jeweler cost a different amount depending on player level. Kinda unfair, much?

    Just created a new character and you absolutely right. That was hilariously bad. Hitting one damage while the level 5 boss is hitting 100's on me and Grimmag has a ton of health. Overall just looking at everything this is a downgrade in my opinion. I was being pretty optimistic for this update, but this is just bad to put it short.

    quick feedback:

    item graphics are horrible; inventory management is now even more of a hassle.

    there also seems to be no benefit to having played this game at the earlier versions of the game.

    its a new game that appears to be boring and with a high learning curve. why should I play this game?

    edit #1: what was the formula for converting old gear stats into new gear stats? It seems like a random shuffle which has no correlation to the old gold line stuff I had before.

    edit #2: a new game means i can jump to somebody else's game. why should I invest time playing this? why even continue to test this?

    edit #3: we can buy premium on test server now? lol. i did not complete the transaction, but clicking credit card did bring up a CC window and clicking paypal did bring up the paypal window. but i'm not gonna pay BP to be a game tester; that's not how any of this is supposed to work.

    Well, after some hours playing, here's my impression:
    1. Item icon or graphic are bad. It's just... bad. I don't like it at all.
    2. New skill system is just.... I have a word for it but sure it is not allowed here. It seems that the Devs just copy from other games but then they just paste a small part of what they copied. The rest is of their creation but yeah it is just (another bad word).
    Totally I feel like they just change the appearance but the core is still the same. I mean they added new skills, some extra damage percentage but the outcome is still the same (ofcourse the damage will be higher) :D.
    They make it different to the current meta by just 2 steps. Firstly, destroyed Q7 set (it's ok). Secondly, limit the hotkey bar.

    So I managed to get some time on the TS.

    As a positive feedback i would like to say that its good to have cloack drop.

    As a negative feedback i would like to point out the cooldown time on EA and deadly blow. It is ridiculous to have a one min coldown on those skills. They are hits...not spawn skills. I am attaching a video from 5 years ago and you can clearly see that deadly blow does not have cooldown at all. If you guys wanted to make similarities to the old game its king of a fail with this cooldown time. We will all be stuck playing with the first 3 hits that the game gives us and the rest don't matter. Not to mention that the skill reset costs a gazillion gold....:D

    True. There are so many things that should be changed/fixed before final release. So give us Xmas event in December on liveserver and delay Dark Legacy to January or even February if necessery. We will test things whole December on test server and we are waiting for some (major) changes.

    Oh, For ranger class. They are not only add cooldown time to DB and EA, but also remove the concentration cost reduced in longbow.

    It's good, there are enough of wanting to delay the game on the pretext that a minority does not like the new version, it is not by delaying the release that this will change, the game is evolving it is like that, you have to get out of your comfort zone you have to evolve, I personally have been playing this game since September 2011 and well this CE I have been waiting for a long time even if the game is more like before I have always want to play it. I hope that the pressure from the players will not delay this release which is scheduled for December 1st.

    Devolving, you mean.

    I only see that devs announced mid 2019 an equipment update related to cloaks

    They should have added the cloaks drop then and not wait for 1 year and a half to do things complete. It just makes no sense how they work, releasing uncomplete stuff and patching it over the years, as they'll do with CE.

    Even Focus, Mana, Fury and Steam regenerate brutally fast, why would you want a focus reduction on long weapons?

    Still @KARL31 wants it on 1st december, even more, he wants it for 24th november ahahah, what to expect from a player that publicly shows his ID on forum LOL

    I have to say that the reason why many players cant wait any longer is team's fault since they were trying to "hype" (if thats even possible to do talking about dso) some impressionable players that now want anything, no matter bad or good but the fastest possible.They knew they weren't ready and still they forced the situation into what we have now, unproffesional as usual, treating players like children.
