You got pretty big chance to be Top, because soon, there will be no players in this game at all :)

Crafting quests. If you haven't done those, start now. If you have started those, start working on collecting the necessary glyphs and items to unlock all the achievements. If you want to get stronger, you'll need to learn to use the workbench properly.

Farm runes. They drop in Infernal difficulty and up.

Despite having the same labels, remember that Parallel World Q's are actually +5 levels beyond normal world scaling dungeons, but you can also start working on unlocking all the Parallel Worlds to get some nice uniques.

These are just some general tips. I don't have ranger specific ones since I don't usually play that class.

Well I recommend you gearing up. Find a nice group of people by asking on Drakensang Online Official Discord and ask for a guild there. Joining a Guild helps a lot both in PvE and in PvP because you will be able to get more currencies with the Guild buff :). Next thing is doing events, that's pretty easy when you have a fresh max level character because you probably have a lot of Realm Fragments, I recommend you doing New Moon and Full Moon a few times to get some good runes, they are worth it if you haven't gotten any yet. Last thing I recommend you is finding a costume, a mount or an emote you want the most and work for it, farm items and sell them to get a dance emote from Premium Vendor or something like that. I hope my little advice helped you friend. Regards and good luck!

.... but the celerity runes were removed from the monthly New & Full Moon event progress rewards bars.

Are runes dropping now from the bosses?

Infernal mode and up elites are dropping 'em. I've been leveling my friends in Merciless Desert and raking in a pile of Rune Dust every day as a result.

MONEY. Thousands of them. TIME. 20 hours / day. Thats what you need to be top. And if dont have around level 200 of ancient wisdom, you need a time machine to go back before last patch to farm it and get solid amount from daylies.

A barely lvl 100 player won't be running Infernal modes so runes are out of the question but yeah, a good costume and some emotes and he will be well on his way to greatness

My point was that there's no benefit any longer running the monthly Moon events as the runes are no longer a progress reward.

Sure, a player could try running Full Moon on Infernal or higher and possibly drop runes, but as you pointed out, we have just as much chance dropping those runes in non-event maps at those higher difficulty levels. Desert farming makes much more sense (IF they can survive Infernal … a 33 day-old toon will be on, what, level 20 Wisdom? Radiant gems?).

Speak for yourself if you would. I did run Infernal dungeons the hour I hit 100 level. If a person is ambitious they will work hard to earn something they crave. There is still many event runes to get and Infernal on many dungeons isn't as hard as you think judging by your comment. Regards.

    My suggestions

-get lvl 140 items, either lockpick chests on Bloodshed Desert where you don't need to kill anything, or find a group that will carry you (brigavik, gleaming mountains seem to be popular maps). I would aim for a combination of legendary items and random uniques if they drop - no point in farming for specific items just yet. Always put respective gems and enchantments in those items that have highest values of these respective stats, compared to other pieces of equipment (ideally you want golden or platinum lines on the stat).

-Eventually replace all your enchantments with 90% or 95%+ platinum lines from lvl 140-145 items (max value of an enchantment increases with level). After you have stripped blue/purple items of enchantments, you can try to random craft these items to higher rarity to see if you get something better than you have now (only do it with lvl 140 or 145 equipment).

-finish Rocketmen event (with the daily quest), royal gems and some runes will come in handy.

-always finish daily challenges if they give wisdom and/or gems as rewards, otherwise do not bother

-farm runes, find low-level players to group, ideally so that you drop monster levels below 100, this makes a MASSIVE difference. Don't farm solo, it's not efficient even if you manage it without dying. Only minibosses, crypt of kings is a good map because level requirements for infernal are low.

-gems and wisdom are currently slow to acquire, wait for January patch to see if that gets fixed. If it doesn't, you have no hope in getting to the TOP (save for spending 1000's of euros on gems).

-finish any quests that you can, they give andermant which is always useful

-1h builds are currently more popular (with attack speed gems and enchantments in weapon), try to get over 4.0 attack speed to be able to activate that 100% damage buff. Other than that, you need to balance HP, armor, resistances and crit, which is gonna be hard without wisdom (especially armor and resistances).

It must be all those awesome costumes and emotes you have, propelling you to a new level of OP :p

Can't argue with it! I've had a friend who helped me, but he wasn't even that well prepared. And who said we did them in 5 mins, it took us a long time to clear the entire map. I'm not that op, but thanks anyway.
