    Oh gentlemen ... don't argue personally ... this is just a game (a game in decline). We all agree that BP went overboard in its tax collection effort, and that it wiped out almost all the efforts of players for years (and with their money invested in the game) ...... But it is also true that it is trying to correct the error (he is running out of players who pay a penny), much to his regret, but little by little he is correcting. So I recommend waiting (months or years) and while we wait for BP to present us with a minimally playable and fun product, let's try other entertainment options. Right now there are tons of games to choose from, either "free" or paid (many and better). Maybe at some point we will play this old game again ..... hopefully.
    And I'm very sorry about your sweater ... I would have recommended you not to buy a new one, since as I heard, BP will award a sweater with its printed logo to whoever manages to capture a certain number x of players (remember the bird? phoenix?) ....... surely you would have gotten it sooner or later, free ..... free? ......

    Same goes for the realm fragments map and realm fragments amulet (which is probably the absolute worst designed item on par with the clover amulet), NOBODY ASKED FOR THAT, LITERALLY N O B O D Y.

    This is not adding anything challenging to the game - this is artificial difficulty created purely to slow your progress down because they cant afford creating fresh and challenging content. It took them 4 years (2 years of delay) to come with this excuse of an expansion? I thought lv 55 was the worst that could happen but they proven me wrong, as usual, topping their previous incompetence.

    That's you and the remaining 4 players invested in this game after trainwreck that took place with release of this awful, bugged, unfinished, boring and irrelevant expansion. DSO got derailed and there's nobody interested in repairing the damage done and putting it back on the rails. Definitely not people who were in charge for past few years as they are the sole reason for why the game gradually deteriorated.

    PS: go hang out on discord with jesse - that's where he hands out lollipops for being a good boy.

    I read somewhere here on the forum couda22 said the same ... but the game is not showing up taking 15 infernal frags on m2 . I will need to check if it actually takes them without notification, which would be a scam ... or maybe different language versions are acting in a different way XD

    It's probably all deliberate. "Fixes" of stuff (gem drops, wisdom drops, now debuffs) come very late, yet they must be so easy to program - just add a reset on debuffs when changing map, and tweak a few numbers for drops. It is a part of an infamous strategy of BP - make players waste their resources. Then "test the waters" and see and if the backlash is too bad, they will halfway "fix" it while taking as much time as possible.

    It was perfectly possible to release the CE with debuff reset already (or no debuff at all - a fair solution to all classes. It is the absolute worst possible way to increase difficulty - decreasing player stats. It removes any psychological reward for getting stronger). But somebody from the management realized that frustrated players will need to buy potions/spirit stones (whose drop was removed btw) as they will die so much quicker with -80% HP. Same with cubes, gem drops, wisdom etc. They needed for the players to waste their infernal fragments and cube reserves without getting anything good from it.

    With wisdom - good example that they tried to avoid and dodge the issue as much as possible, we were getting at least 3 different "fixes" for it, none of which fixed anything. Now, players are really vocal about this and the backlash was so strong that they decided to somewhat restore it in the newest version. Still, 3 months waiting time for tweak of 1 number. And it could be just 1/4 of old drop rate, and players would still be happy because it will be a significant improvement over the current situation.

    This is all within framework of the "freemium" MMOs which monetize players that are invested in the game but not at the top. It is in BP's best financial interest to have as many people as possible in this group, and none in the group of endgame players who have everything (and thus don't need to pay anything). This is done in two ways, 1. introduce new game content which makes previous content obsolete 2. straight up remove and steal resources and items of players, indirectly or even directly. This CE accomplished both in a spectacular manner. BP is happy with current player numbers? Either they are lying or they must be looking at their charts upside down (both options are feasible :D )

    This goes hand in hand with their other tactic - buffing drop of something initially and then silently nerfing it to the ground, never to restore. This is reportedly already happening with gems/blood chest drops. They observe and see YT videos of people amassing 100k dust in 5 hours, and decide it's too much. Anything that works well in this game will eventually get nerfed, so there's no effective way to the top, other than grind and wallet. This silent nerf is truly dishonesty on part of BP as it doesn't appear on any changelog, and being introduced gradually, players aren't sure if they are just imagining things. If the drop chance of royal gem on Bloodshed moves from 1% to 0,01%, it is almost impossible to confirm this by testing.

    Why you personal attack me? Why y talk about my iintelligence? I was talkin about base HP and DMG on characters... You see there any difference in armor?? If you need armor go craft some item or ue set with armor) or you want have base on items as wars?? when y can slow down boss and break resist by pressin 1key MAGE...

    End stats arent the same as basic character stats.
    Mage/dwarf have more basic character dmg and ranger/tank heve more basic character hp.
    Ok it's fine.
    But if ranger/tank have more hp in every single item and every single stone than mage/dwarf so why mage/dwarf don't have more dmg in every single item and every single stone???
    So ranger get extra 12,5% hp and tank get extra 25% hp for free
    Ok i understand why tank has more hp but why ranger get more hp?

    HP gem (stone) have the same value for all classes since Dark legacy.

    All Greedy Goblins are impossible at any level. It's a slap in the face to the players.

    Now if you had a party of 3 steam mechs and 2 mages and they were well trained (3 months of co-ordination training 3 hours every day), then maybe they might have a chance on Painful to kill one Goblin. :cool: However, I doubt it.

    Don't want to disagree but it is possible as long as you all speak the same language and know it is going to pop out.
    One that appears in Loxley Caverns as a boss is also doable.
    When it first pops out of a chest if it is not stunned straight away then you have no chance.
    Not sure why you need Mechs and mages either but hey that is your way to play :)

    On another note the team has there monthly events Full Moon New Moon looks like Desert and Sargon have been added too.
    The majority of players do not even do these events since CE.
    Maybe if you put the Runes back in as progress ? Which was a big factor at grinding the moon events more would do them.
    Just my thoughts :)

    Debuffs in Merciless and Bloodshed
    Can I ask a question of why we farm gems runes equipment to get our stats ripped from us ?
    Feel free to explain why we farm for years for Gems to watch you do this crap.
    Imagine the poor suckers that have actually given you money for Andermants to buy Gems for you to do this.
    Do you think they are happy about it ?
    As for being a new player in this game if anyone starts this game without a high level friend forget even playing after the first boss fight you have.
    Wisdom can not be farmed for new players I am 205-206 Wisdom and I am having a joy of a time watching it never move.
    As someone said in my party to me 'Oh you can change it so you get books'
    My answer to them was 'Not everyone has Premium or is willing to waste money on this game'

    Well, some might say that if you don't intentionally introduce problems to steal money from players, you wouldn't need to correct( and i use this word very loosely, as for example the reduced drop rate of everything has not been restored to what it was before the expansion) these problems in the first place.

    I mean, if you light a car on fire and then extinguish the fire, you're not an heroic fire fighter, you're an arsonist.

    BP doesn't get to play the good guy just because they are now partially( yep, with the exception of gems, drop rate is as bad as ever) reversing some of their thieving manners.

    Is there a guide somewhere to this game post CE ?
    This is really a new game not the Drakensang most of us loved.
    So is there a guide the developers or there testers done when making up some of these ideas.
    Daily Quest some of that should be explained.
    At what level can you make Trapezoid Gems if you had all Royal Green or Blue before CE and this new game was introduced.
    Maybe a guide should of been done as this CE was introduced.
    For those that remember Greg Haruki etc. they would remember this would have been done. Sometimes they might not have got everything 100% right but at least they tried to help ALL the players.

    Twili, way to welcome back a fellow player with your snarky response. Sorry, that had to be said, though your link was appropriate.

    However, the game has already undergone several tweaks since that guide was published, with a few more already in the works for r248. Aren't you a SW? Haven't they already been somewhat nerfed (at least the Mastery of Fire) since the initial CE release?

    I would recommend to @edrogers58 the VelveteenDuck YT channel from player @silverseas ... she's been making various tutorials for awhile, some of which might answer questions about specific aspects of CE.

    As for gaining the ability to create trapezoid gems, I believe you need to finish the Truly Royal crafting achievement (make 35 royals, any type), and you'll automatically receive the recipe for trapezoids. I'm not 100% certain as my main toon hasn't finished that achievement and the tooltip in the workbench for trapezoid creations is bugged (the description, not the function).

    BP hasn't been consistent with achievement carry-over. Some achievement-dependent recipes (for example the ability to perform enchantment transfer crafting) was provided by the CE script at initial release if you'd already performed the actions pre-CE. Others, like consumable crafting recipes, were messed up for the first month+ after CE, but were corrected in r247. Others, like jewel and trapezoid crafting, have not been scripted; I suspect BP considers that a profitable "feature," forcing advanced players to spend money on buying higher end jewels & gems as raw materials for those crafting achievements that will get you to the next level.

    Yes, the achievement for jewels was not fixed on purpose, at this point.

    They are exploiting a bug to make players pay even more.

    It wasn't exactly meant to be snarky. Was meant to be more with exasperation. It's amazing how many threads are started here that a simple search would have avoided. I seem to read a ton of these. Person comes back and goes strait to "post" first, search later.

    And I did provide the way to get to the info. I used "CE guide" I think to find it again quickly, which I had just read like 3 days before. I didn't need the guide as I was on the test server for the CE to really learn about it before it went live and was reading all the posts here at the time. Yes, there was a lot to follow, but it helped me prepare. Much of the CE I've liked, some I've not (ex. drop rates).

    Yes, I'm a mage. And the CE started out with the SW being close to balanced vs the world. However, the pathetic "Doug and Wendy Whinners", instead of asking for thier classes to be bolstered to meet the world, called for the SW to be nerfed so that nobody is anywhere close to being balanced against the world. What they did was greatly diminish the amount of group support the SW can supply and what a SW can do solo. Especially a SW that isn't in the game 60+ hours per week. (I'm in a _lot_ if I get close to 20 hrs/week and most of that is on the weekend.)
