So, like after July, all the players left..... It's the 11th and not a single event feedback. I'm glad I'm not playing much anymore.

Having a much better time in what can be described as "bad times at sunrise". The rewards for the work put into it are very satisfying. It also has a level 100 cap and I'm currently at level 65, strong enough to beat bosses 5-7 levels above me, and getting equipment that I hold onto for several levels before I can use 'em. And I don't have to log in every day either. If I don't feel like playing, or want to go to a concert (38 Special) on a Friday after work till its bed time... well, I can. This new game doesn't punish me for not dedicating my life. It is happy to be there when I show up.

I tried the event is identical to that of January I finish it!

And I think this is the event where I enjoyed myself, I will do a few more laps, since there are users who play, the group is able to do it, the drop is adequate and it seems that at least in the circus there is not so much discrimination between classes and I hope to don't be wrong.

It's a good event, I think I still do a few laps for the 2h weapon, not too many because after a certain number of games you either drop it or you will never do it this is random!

 

This month there have been many events and I have ended up tired since I have to do them two times with my two characters.

I only get to Bar VII, then I have no more essences to continue. I don't know anyone who could finish it.
I do not do the other events derived from this for lack of essence.

I'm doing it for the Drakens bounty, but this event is too long and boring. They should place more missions and make bosses advance in the event.

Excellent event, but I don't know why my advance bars are short (Bar I: 7800 and Bar II: 18000), many have Bar I: 20K and Bar II: 40K.
Even having finished it, I continue to do so because of the amount of gems that are obtained, among other things that the bosses drop.

"Newish" player here - none of the events are worth doing by a far unless you have a big wallet. Most of them are plain impossible for new players / lower levels, and quite honestly, calling "event" to the mindless repetition of the exact same task... eh? I ended up wasting all my hard-earned resources to TRY to do some events, and got away with less stuff than I started and... errr, maybe 40 draken and some low-level jewels?

The extra experience and Knowledge events were nice and helped to level up a bit faster, a couple of levels... But that is all.

Keep in mind this is really a heartfelt opinion, not an attempt to thrash your work or make you feel bad about it - but truth must be told. Whoever is setting up this events is not doing a good job, nor anything the players want. Cheers.

 

Psytron If you are on Agathon server leave your in game name if interested in a very friendly helpful English speaking guild. The DTU event is awesome for gem, wisdom and gold farming as well as good jewels and gem and rune of insight. Please everyone stop saying "the players" as you only speak for yourself not everyone.

 

Once upon a time events used to be more accessible for newer and/or solo players, but over the years the grind and power disparity (you versus mobs/champions/bosses) factors have increased dramatically to the point you're right: Most events are impossible for new players to complete, and the prizes gained rarely justify the effort spent.

One of the most aggravating aspects of the current iteration of the game is how long your toon remains weak (and essentially grows weaker compared to the mobs at your current level) over time. You can take a very deliberate approach to leveling up carefully to maximize your Wisdom and gem growth as you slowly make your way to level 100, or you can find other stronger players to carry you to difficulties beyond your own capability in hopes of acquiring higher level equipment and gems (and runes) that will instantly improve the quality of your toon.

In the meantime, avoid most if not all events until you can at least comfortably and efficiently run in Painful or Excruciating difficulty modes with no or only common (white) essence. Test yourself against bosses, too, as you'll need to power through those more powerful mobs in order to be successful in most events.

My take on a few recent events:

BGH - can be finished by middling toons (such as myself) with reasonable perseverance. Prizes are decent.

Full moon - lost my interest when the runes disappeared from the rewards. Event gear used to be good enough to act as a bridge set until you could farm for PW end-game gear, but stopped being worth the effort to farm for two releases ago. I might be tempted to play it again, but there are usually other, more involving events running at the same time, so this one gets skipped.

Infested Sewers - have they improved the drop rates, especially for essence crafting ingredients? I probably will never play this event again.

Desert of Essence - mini-bosses are so OP, this is also always skipped.

New Moon - event gear is even worse than Full Moon equipment; no reason to play this event.

DtU - I have a love/hate relationship with this event; it used to be a great way to grind for useful pets, but drop rates of crafting components have been slammed so many times, you have to plan in number of years to craft the pet you want (many players go with the crit rate pet you can purchase from any Urban Town Tamer NPC instead). Also, it was one of the first "modern" events I finally managed to complete before last years Content Expansion. Now I'm still recovering from the severe nerfing of that release, so find it difficult to kill some of the bosses even on Excruciating. I'm giving it a go again this run, but may skip it if it shows up in the next 6 months while I try to bolster my toon gradually.

Terrifying Shadows - kinda ho-hum at best, especially with the imbalanced drop rate of the 4 shadow portal components and of the event light essence. (My fault on the essence: I don't have any interest in grinding in the new main game content areas outside of the event. My main toon still isn't at level 100.)

Dracanian Anniversary Festival - Another event to which my toon had finally managed to complete last year, pre-CE when I could run Fatal or Infernal I. I'll probably struggle even at Excruciating this year. And, from the version of the event currently on Test Server, rewards have been thoroughly trashed, at least from the in-arena chests. Rewards from the progress bars contain a lot of inventory expansion, some truncheons, a few gems, a few other event-specific items, and, near the very end, potentially some useful jewels/runes. Most end-gamers will be disappointed; even middling toons such as my main maxed out inventory years ago; not certain I can grind long enough to get to the jewels (there are now 15 progress bars).

 

Aww ... but this event is constantly evolving and progressing. And the tricky part is ... weapons and skills that worked in the previous version are not so effective anymore, and that makes it so great. You should have tried it ... that was the delta jet blue event variant.

How can I never like anything? People with whom he plays at 5 or 10 kill had a weapon and nothing from 95 murders to me, ?????
327,000 andermand no weapons. I gave for portals and nothing, and I'm an old player from the very beginning of the game ..... but tonight I really won't play it, it's a complete mockery of the old players

 

For the money you have to put into most of the events, the payback just is not worth the effort.
Unless you buy the items to move you along the repetition just gets boring.
What about some events where players DO NOT NEED TO USE andermant or special items...
maybe an event or two where we the players end up feeling it was all worth it
