Lagging when walking

Hi everyone! For a while now I get sent backwards 10 meters when running or using my mount. Its making the game unplayable at harder difficulties. Also, as a Mechanicus my turrets dont spawn because of this. Is there something that can be done? When will this be fixed ?

 

This is a problem at your end and only caused by having big latency due to bad internet or something(or someone) that drains it.

 

It depends on your internet connection.

 

We call that "rubber-banding" and I get it once in awhile too, but it tends to happen more often during big events. Try turning off any active downloads, streaming, etc. and see if that helps.

I've noticed it happen as well if my CPU is spiking. I had an extension (LastPass) I found that kept spiking my CPU almost constantly, so I disabled it.

You can turn the "Latency Indicator" on in the game settings and it'll have a little icon under your essense slots at the bottom. Mine usually runs around 74-76 ms. If it gets into the 80's I'll start seeing lag issues. If it's in my normal range & it starts lagging I'll check my task manager since something is spiking my CPU.

 

This seems like a good suggestion to me, I will keep it in mind.
