Ingredient Jewel - most people know by now that you can buy it with real money; but RPG players like to farm their own gears as that’s the fun part of RNG games. If DSO sells everything, players will buy them and leave the game because there’s no point in playing it; it’s pay and leave; which is what DSO wants, the money; but in return, you won’t have players. Players attract players so eventually the game will die. I am only asking DSO to increase the drop rate; especially with the boss spawn to make it more feasible because after 5 years or so, with no drop is just ridiculous.

Summer Solstice Prep event - it's a good idea how it caters for all levels of players and they can still complete it because it’s quests based. However, as the summer tokens are increasingly in high demand due to the introduction of new runes and now a new jewel (needs 120 tokens); how are players supposed to get that many tokens? You have not modified the event to allow players to get them so it’s like mission impossible. What’s the point of introducing it?

Also, it’s better to make some quests repeatable rather than renewing it every 24 hours so players can finish it within the time they play instead of having to wait for the reset time. This caters for different types of players. Ideally, if you can make the tokens farmable it’s even better but I know you won’t do it because you use it to make money. Moreover, if you can make the prep event part and the 2nd part runs concurrently then players who missed out the first part can make it up in the 2nd part too - but it's wishful thinking.

Summer Solstice Prep.. Ok once again we fall back to one of the ITEMS that requires a player to play at least 1-2 years to acquire 5/5 Runes from this event.. It's not intended for the player to get all the 5/5 Runes on there first year it will take at least 2 years to acquire the amount.. so just have patience and come back next year to buy the Jewel of Ander Power or Runes.. also the Solstice runes materials can be acquired once every season from the NPC for 2000 Season Coins and 1-2 runes from the main Summer Solstice event but your going to have to choose what item you want the most the Runes 1/2/3/4/5 or the Jewel of Ander Power that only gives a 8% andermants drop bonus at Legendary level.. most players already have the 5/5 runes from the Season events and DSO has already had 3 seasons or take your chance at buying the chests once a day from the Premium NPC in KH for 10000 andermants.. you get plenty of Solar Coins (1450) from event bar and (600) from quests to open the chests from the main event so you should have no problem acquiring the (100) Solar Tokens.. it's just a matter of what your going to buy with them.. you can't have them all in just one evet that's what makes DSO so fun to play the RNG.. for me that is.. You are telling me an alternative to attain the jewel, which I am aware of. FYI. I used lots of anders and bought more than 700 ginger bread men from the xmas tree and I still didn't get it. Compare to the first version, it has been nurfed badly last year.

I am making a point to the DSO team that cave map needs to increase the drop rate, otherwise, there's no point in having that map in the game at all because it's deceiving for players. The focus is on the game play on the map, not an alternative to replace that map. Looking an alternative means that map is totally useless - which re-affirmed my point about that map. Alternative solution is another issue.

 

Either I'm missing something, or you're wrong. Fist of all, you need the tokens to open the chests and to aquire 100+ tokens seems impossible in 1 event. This year after ive done the prep event+all quests, I dont even have 10 tokens to open 1 chest, let alone get 100 for a jewel.

 

I played a few minigames and noticed that my points on the event bar are not increasing ?????no badges coming from minigames??????
This Darwin who doesn't know what he's talking about should shut up.
Worse, he's messing up.

 

To have progress on the bar you need to buy the outfit in the store, the game is getting too p2w and the upcoming stellar gold event is the same, if you don't have the outfit you will spend too many resources to finish 1 bar

With all this problem and with the approach of lvl 110 many are already looking for other game options, I am not going to wait another 4 years for me to get a piece of bgh lvl 155 or worse the weapon with anniversary event, I just hope it is a joke in bad taste because if they wanted to finish screwing up the game then they will succeed, See you in another game, on my part it is a pause and hopefully not a goodbye as many are already saying goodbye, good luck.

 

I believe what you are referring to is the attire, which you need to pay real money for it.

I concur with you about that lv110 and I bet you have to pay a lot for the so called new mythical set. And even if you tolerate DSO and do everything over again to get your gears to lv155, DSO will change the cap to lv120 - and you will need to keep repeating again and again. Looking for a new game is what players are doing.

 

It seems to me that 100 token is not designed for us to get it within one event, unless you have spares from before. The most you could get is probably around 30 per event, inclusive of 2 parts of the event. I believe what Dravin said is not true or it is as simple as what he said. You need to complete a number of mini-games in the 2nd part just to get one token and furthermore, the request is more demanding each time to get another one token; meaning more entry passes are required - so pay, pay, pay. None of these effort will give you 100 tokens in the end. This is why I requested DSO to modify the event and the bars because the bars only give 1 from the first part and 10 from the 2nd - but you cannot finish the 2nd part bars without using the attire. The event bars from both parts have not been changed since it was first introduced so it's not sufficient to cater for the new runes and jewel. That's was my point.

Dravin suggested the alternative to get the runes from the seasonal coins - most players are aware of but to get 3 runes by now, you would have to pay with real money - again, my point was to tell DSO that if we need to pay for our gears, there's no point in playing. As I have suggested, rpg players like to earn their reward within the game - and you said that's the fun part of having RNG.

 

I hope you solve the problem of moving to the map. The time to move from map to map is about 30 seconds.
I don't have any internet or computer problems, Only the problem is moving from map to map.

 

That little barrel guy just north of the main quest guy, had 1 token/day for 882 or so andermant, but even with those and the ones for draken & those from the quest I'm just at 50. I had some left from last year, but don't know how many. I'd like that Ander jewel, but I don't think I want to wait another 2 years (probably) to get to 100 and then chances are the reward would change anyway, lol.

Those chest you can buy with solar coins and/or Ander have the same crappy odds as everything else, lol. I've bought the max with the solar coins and some with ander to, but not a single token so far. I got mostly fragments from mine.

It seems that the DSO wants us to give up the game. Ok, I'll start looking for something else because from what I see, no one is paying attention to us.

As another user said, players for the devs of this game are just hamsters in the wheel, but we are not all of them of course.
However, you may only log in to get the daily andermants reward.

 

Yes.. I did say you would be able to acquire 100 Solar Tokens I had 47 from last year and I'm at 93 now from farming the mini dungeon chests on main event the chests do drop 1 Solar Coin from RNG but it also may take 2-3 yearly events to get that many depending on how much andermants you spend on dungeon tickets and how many mini dungeons you farm and on RNG/LUCK.. The Company that owns DSO doesn't care about what the player would like/want to better there game.. it's all about the income they would really rather a few players quite the game than to in other words ("BOW DOWN TO THE PLAYER") then to just fix a few problems or change some things to better suit the player base.. They have set the RULES it's there game you ether ("P2P") to enjoy our game or just quit I don't think it matters to the Company about a few players that was already ("F2P") to quit it doesn't hurt them.. My server 90% of the players are ("P2P") buy every Attire that comes out.. there are out a lot of ("WHALES") on DSO I believe there is a higher majority of players that do ("P2P") then players like myself that are ("F2P") and at this point after 15 years I still think all the recent Cash Shop items and Lower RNG% is just a indication of the incoming shutdown of DSO.. More likely is why there adding level increase 110 because to show there trying to suit the player.. I'm sure they will loose another 30-40% of the player base just like with the CE.. this way they can say it wasn't there fault they ("INPROVED") the game.. it was because the numbers wasn't high enough to stay afloat.. but this is just my opinion no solid prof to my assumption..

 

I think your hypothesis is not very different from reality and when you say that is a signal that indicates the end of the game you might be right.

It's not a question of understanding if this will happen or not, because sooner or later the game will be closed, there is no doubt about that.
It's a matter of understanding or "betting" when it will happen.

To be honest, I would say: they finally decided to shutdown it!

 

what chest? i have played this event for years, but never seen a token drop from the chests in the minigames.

 

So far 1 token does drop from fishing ponds but I have not seen more than once.

It is possible that 1 token could drop from chests from other mini-games and it's RNG; but no confirmation that it drops more than once.

The only reliable way to get continuous tokens is from the repeatable quests and doing the 1 entry ticket quest is the way to go (30 entries gives 1 token); but the entry tickets are expensive, which makes it unfeasible.

There is no barrel in the event map for us to buy tokens with anders, as Talbor said. There was one in the first part of the event, but not the 2nd part.

 

You can find 1 token in the chests of each minigame, but only 1, so a maximum of 4 (Fishing, Underground Chamber, Arena of Endurance and Meanie Rumble). The same goes for amphorae during the preparation phase.

Until a couple of years ago, the Barrel Trader also had one during the event, and you could purchase one token per day for 50 Solar Coins.

 

I don't know how many times I received a Token from the mini dungeons chests but I do know from having 47 Tokens from last year.. and this year doing the Prep event and buying all the Tokens that was available from the Prep quests and the Barrel NPC and the ones from using Drakens along with a few from the Summer Solstice bags you buy from the events NPC with Solar Coins and the Andermants.. I have acquired 46 Solar Tokens.. I don't care if your not having the same RNG/LUCK from chests or the Solstice bags as I.. It's like most of you think we all have the exact same outcome from RNG/LUCK/Chests on every server.. If you want them so badly then just go buy some Solstice bags from the Cash Shop if not then don't downplay my experience just because you didn't have the same..
