Full Moon / Silver Essence

Somebody had the GOOD idea of stating how many woods were needed to complete the New Moon event.

Can anyone give us an approximation of how much Silver Essence is needed to complete Full Moon???

It is different from woods.
It depends on players stats. Someone would need 8-10K someone 20K+.
If someone have weak character it is better to use scrolls of silver power because other essences can be used.

Trakilaki is right. If you are powerful enough to do the whole thing, or most of it, with only silver essences it can take very few essences. Scrolls are much less efficient - costing 1.5K silver essences for only 5 mins - but they may be necessary if you need blue+ essences for some parts like the big boss. If you do feel you need to use scrolls for the big boss, I suggest killing him two times with one scroll. (Run directly to the big boss after re-entering - while your scroll is still active.)

It is also very dependent on how efficient you are at using your resources. When essences only stacked to 999, I used to use scrolls for everything. (It took too much room to store silver essences - I only have two backpack pages.) I could kill four mini-bosses with one scroll, and usually have about 30 seconds to spare. (There are four patterns for the mini-boss locations. I think you can find them on the wiki.)

Now that essences stack to 9999 I use only silver essences for the whole event... when I participate. I probably won't play any of it this time, though, since "Desert of Essences" is coming and I have only about 300 realm fragments stored. I will save the frags for that event.

Well, my little solo effort yielded the following...

Had between 8k and 9k silver essence.

Managed to kill roughly 360 werewolves (out of 500): incomplete quest

Got up to 860 or so, short of my nest Draken reward.

Admitedly, my lvl 44 rgr is NOT the most powerful, but I really didn't think it would be this bad

When you've played a long time and have about 1000 + base dmg, 50% + crit chance and 250-300% crit dmg - you'll use a lot less essences

 

Ess needed will depend on your damage rates; I was able to get to the 40 draken reward (90 draken total) using about 4.5 to 5K essence as a DK with about 650 base damage. I just go from moonhowler to moonhowler and try to get a little mob around the moonhowlers. I then use a lot of MWS in the mob with my target being the moonhowler mixed in with the banner+smash+iron brow plus my regen skills as needed which is what I think most DKs do.

 

i used 10k for 10 Vargulf Runs, and Event Finish.

1200-1700 dmg
270% crit dmg
52% crit rate
1,4 attack speed

(2 handed dk)

Next time use scrolls until you are strong enough to use silver essences.
Advantage of using scrolls is ability to use blue, purple or red essences + buffs.

I have spent 0 silver essences and 0 scrolls of silver power to finish the event.
In Varholm mobs have built a shrine dedicated to me. During the full moon they are making a loot sacrifice just to make me pleased ... so I would spare them from suffering.
