    At long last i managed to log into the forum...

    As the title says, do you think we as paying players deserve compensation for the dev´s terrible work the past 24 hours? Maybe along with the position-bug that have existed for 2 MONTHS...

    The position-bug have made gameplay like hell for us the past 2 months, and have costed low-defense players high amounts of andermant for nothing.
    It should absolutely have been possible to break the code and delete that bug in 2 months!

    When it comes to the past 24 hours... as far as i remember, the Dev´s have only messed up the game that worse ONCE before.
    Heredur was unreachable for half the players for 2-3 days, and some couldn´t get online in a whole week. But at least WE GOT A LITTLE COMPENSATION!

    The dev´s have made a terrible work, not only the past 24 ours along with the position-bug, but they have made terrible work for over 6 months now! Lot´s of releases with nothing usefull and lots of new bugs!
    They have claimed all the way that they listen to us players in the community, but what they have been doing with the game proves the opposite.

    Lots of us are paying costumers who wants to play this (once) great game, but the dev´s are just messing everything up and gives us bugs and useless content.

    At least give us a compensation for the insanely bad work the past 24 hours!


    EDIT. Maybe BP will listen when people stop paying.

    I voted yes, but I'd forego the compensation if the team would just get their farging act together!

    "Postponing a highly anticipated event because you can't properly test your releases: Not priceless". Total phail.

    Yup, if they would start making proper work i would also forget all about the compensation, but i can´t even hope for that right now. Compensation could be a step towards proper work :)

    Agreed. If they're going to insist on continuing to publish garbage, they ought to give us something to make it smell better ;)

    I voted 1st....only then did i read your post:(...crap this for P2P class.
    Can i reclaim my vote, so i can vote "NO":D I'm a F2P:( crap...not fair bro!!!

    I agree and i'm always forward to compensations.
    But you didn't mentioned what type of compensation???
    Do you want 2 months premium, AM or what???
    For the F2P class, we should get 100 or more realm frags for compensation.

    As for the event, they didn't released it for obvious reasons....so we can't play the event during 2 whole weekends...to obtain the "red set" for more than 1 toon.
    My weekend is ruined....there is nothing to do in this game:(.

    As for bugs, well.....just read the "April statement".

    During 2014 we will primarily concentrate our efforts primarily on bug fix, PvP balancing and guild improvements(wars).

    What does this mean???....no wait, i know what they truly meant.

    PvP balancing = removing maps "grimmag stone + darbmoor" + make it hard to obtain low lvl items.

    Guild improvements = loot comparison + repair kit + 3 or 4 events.

    Bug fix = introducing new type of bugs to ensure monthly premium subscription.

    BP can now proudly announce that their objectives for 2014 have been reached!!!:D

    I voted NO!

    1. there is no third option "if players keep their loot from quests(quests that were opened again by the programming error) they don't need compensation.
    2. All players are equal F2P and P2P ... why should only "paying" players get compensated? The servers were messy and down for us F2P as well!

    Final answer NO!!

    I don't think he meant this to happen for only paying customers, guys. I think he just put that in at the end as a personal note.

    Hmmm, yes you are right, I did not notice that part. Kind of wrong to limit compensations only to those who have put money in; the rest pay in frustration and lost play time as well.

    Well, when you consider how much time a f2p invests, and how many of the newer ones pay (with a lot of death and frustration in the arena)... we're all kind of like paying customers :D

    I don´t want compensation for lost efforts in quest, i wan´t compensation for lag, unfixed bugs for months, very unstable connection and dev´s useless work for months.


    And believe me, im not saying that P2P should be the only one who were compensated, im just trying to indicate, that we(both F2P and P2P) are the ones who give BP their money to keep this game running. They should just give us a proper game to play for the money we invested.

    And of course are F2P and P2P equel, im not some kind of P2P-noob who don´t understand how it is to be a F2P. The first year or so i was playing F2P.
    And i haven´t given BP any money the past 7-8 months. My total use of money is about 90 euros if you wanna know.


    @Bearer-of-Death,

    When i say compensation, it could be anything. Andermant, CoT´s, drakens, anything that just shows BP actually cares about us. Even some pathetic consumable emotes would be at least something.



    This thread wasn´t in any way supposed to be about F2P vs P2P rights, or anything like it. The sole purpose was to try to get BP´s attention, and maybe get something nice out of this mess of failed releases.

    Sorry Hartvig, I am one of the no votes. It is not because I feel that anyone does not deserve compensation. Rather, it is because we have all already waived any right to it.

    All of that legal stuff nobody bothers to read in the T&C that we all agreed to when we created accounts contains more than one paragraph that can be distilled down to a simple statement.

    BP is not responsible for anything they mess up.

    They have done things in the past to make up for this sort of thing in the past (rarely.)
    But I am afraid that goodwill is not even on their radar right now. Right now they are in full on panic/scramble mode just trying to avert a total meltdown.

    I actually did Laugh Out Loud a little while ago while I reading Forbes online (for those that don't know Forbes is a respected publisher of finance/economic info for business.)

    Their thought for the day was:

    Goodwill for a business is built by good goods, service and truthful advertising.

    Perhaps after the crisis has passed they may have time to think of us as valued consumers deserving of something. It is still their option though.

    yeah ticking the box means you get nothing. the thing that annoys me is im on holiday on sunday, so now the 4 days ish i would have had to get something from the event, i now can't even play it at all. grumble...

    the compensation should be a coupon code for 1 unique item which the player should choose.
    it is not costing anything and it is the least that they can do if they want to gain players back.not 3-4 days prenium,not essence,not jewllery for the natives.

    if they want to gain back some players they should do it.that does every serious company for its clients.they dont loose money by giving a present code.its just a digital item

    well a redeem code would be nice :D They did screw up big time over the last few updates. Draken just went downhill (or down a cliff).

    I fully agree.
    we've had trouble on the servers for a pretty long time now, and it isn't getting alot better. If BigPoint wants to keep their community, they have to compensate for all the trouble they caused.

    Of course we know you are doing the best you can, but his is going too far..
