Now you use caution?

You postpone a highly anticipated event because you refuse to adequately play-test/troubleshoot your releases? I think your priorities need a serious reboot. I bet I'm not the only one with this opinion.

Last year i also kept asking them to test their EDIT before they released it. This year they priotize bugs, but they still don´t test the releases. Im pretty EDIT ATM...

 

Yeah, I'm not getting the "bug fixing priority" thing. It doesn't make sense. Wouldn't it actually make sense to try and find the bugs and fix them before they affect the game? I can't believe that all of these obvious bugs were not detected before the releases went live. It's not believable by any stretch of the imagination.

Anway, it's funny to see that they always end their shjt new with 'we appreciate you patience' when their players are very frustrated.

And what do you mean by 'risky' BP? Nobody at BP headquarter in weekend to fix new bug? Or you affaird that during 2 days of weekend alone players can find a new bug to farm draken/ander without you to fix it in time? HAHA

 

After the last few months where countless issues have occurred with almost every update, it is beyond belief that the team at DSO have not taken extra precautions and done more testing before the release to the live game? The DSO team clearly need a more reliable way of testing the game rather than releasing updates to the community and letting them find all the bugs. Use a more reliable test server? Take more time before releasing updates? I would rather wait than get it early and it cause problems!

On another note it's better to not release an update than release a fairly pointless update like "breakable objects" especially when the game is so vulnerable right now? Now a few days before a major event that a large portion of the community have been waiting a long time for, we receive a fairly pointless update that has now cause major bugs and now delayed the event.

My advice? No more trivial updates until all the current bugs have been dealt with!
And more rigorous testing needs to be done before releases.

But that's just my view and I'm sure this has all be said before and will be said again after next update.

 

The funny thing is this.....

I, ever once in a while, will play on Facebook. Funny how that game had 2 events in 2 months and we wait 4-6 months for a single event. They have the Dragan event going on as we speak.

As for the testing stuff, what can i say....ohh wait perhaps the same crap i suggested few months or years ago(don't recall, sorry)!!!

And it goes like this....

Give us characters with max lvl of xp in all trees, all ingame items are sold for 1 to 100 AM or coins(gold, silver, copper).
Tell us what new stuff you add to the game, so we can test it in all possible ways to detected possible bugs.

If and when everything has been test and if there are no bugs or possible exploits, then release the update to the official/live server.

Then close the TS, until a new update comes.
99% of all game company's does this, so why not DSO.

Some time ago, I also said "why does BP/DSO team needs to implement updates every 2 weeks???"...."why not every 1 or 2 months to avoid bugs, because the GT/QT, don't have time to test everything"

One of the Mods even asked, if more members felt the same way i do!!!
Unfortunately no one else replied, so.....!!!

At this moment, I really don't know what else to say or do...all i can say and do, is this....until something good happens, I will stop playing(except main event), I will just login to get the daily bonus, nothing more.

I have more fun here in the forum, then i have inside the stupid game.

 

A lot of players are using test server ... but not all are using this forum to share their experience within TS.
I think the most valued members of this (and other languages) forum should be given particular amount of resources on TS.

 

I know, if they used the test server as a test server instead of, I dunno (a litter box for their cats?) some good stuff might happen to this game. I'm tired of typing my fingers bloody about things like this, though. Maybe I'll just stop doing this. It doesn't seem to matter, anyway.

 

Couldn't agree more. Also gettin tired of stating that the game has goten boring and not much to do without bugs and lag. PWs are so terrible right now I just lost all interest in it.

Pvp has gotten so you can't even see players ranging me. I mostly get on to chat now-a-days and get daily gem bag.

What else is there to do without the aggravation?

I promise DSO/DEVS this though, my monthly subscription WILL BE CANCELED until some crap get fixed. You can take that to the bank.

None of those companies/organizations exist today.

Sad but true. Experienced online gamers will see the pattern of decay and obscurity here. Unless they change their tune, the end result is known to us.

Being an experienced game company, BP should (probably already does) see this. Maybe they made good money in the past and the game is no longer generating profits at the level they want: maybe they want to just write this game off and close it? It's a possibility, I think.

you see its like a mountain bike race to us..we would pre ride our bike and check all before racing...they should check their game and all releases before thay crash ppls groups and farm team runs, the event groups get affected, crashing and logging back in, in a frantic rush to not upset others in group..hahhaaa, why dont yall check what you expect us to use...
