Additional info:

Dragan 2 event chest glitch

When you hand in a quest to Janus Fox from the main event questline, you get to open a chest. Once one member in the group opens a chest, no-one else can. To prevent this:
1) Do not hand in the completed quest. All group members tele to town.
2) Disband
3) Enter Ravenclaw individually and hand in the quest
4) Open the chest
5) Take the next quest from Janus
6) Tele back out and regroup
7) Re-enter Ravenclaw and continue

 

the Vengeance served quest didn't even take the changing maps part. It disappeared right after taking it without any map changing involved at all for me. it just went POOOF! the advice they gave doesn't help at all cuz at least I don't have a clue what and where that mystery chest is that i would need to open to start the sabotage 5/8 again. i got all 4 chests opened. and all 4 that has the iron bars around them closed and no options to open them.

 

If that is the case... I will hold off 4/8 and farm pearls -> + dragan await the next hotfix...

 

Well my A.D.D finally came in handy I kept switching characters and never got past 2/8, 3/8 on any of them. Imagine my surprise that the official info was incorrect At least now I can get some sleep while they get this sorted

That the questline is broken is a great example that they do not test what they do. As always a bad start to an event. Pull yourself together dso..

Did you just tell me I wasted my whole damn day playing the event? I got crap from the boxes -_-||| How about returning the pearls? (too hard for u guys). Since you guys can't return the pearls, why the heck are there so many bugs on live server? I think I'm going to take a break from drakensang. See you guys!

 

Hmmm, I understand it, but I'm not OK with it! What you're telling us is that, starting tomorrow, everyone has to start this part of the event over from step one. I really don't care about the "extra bonus" chests... I don't want to go through this boredom from the very beginning! I want to continue from 4/8, where I stopped, but apparently that's not an option.

This is ridiculous. The devs and programmers really need to get their act together so that stuff like this doesn't happen (keep happening) on the LIVE servers. That's why they have a TEST server. They need to use it properly!

You can feel free to pass these sentiments along to the dev team.

Nice rip-off BP...
While on test server the option to revive using 40 andermant was available when fighting Sargon, now on live servers we are forced to pay 120 if we die fighting there (I said if, but it when for most of the players)

I was hoping to complete my Dragan set + acquiring it for my other toons, but it won't be possible....because the "Magnificent 7" team decided that Dragan 2 is only for the heavy P2P class.

Also, where are the "Massive rewards" for this so "called" event???
And when will the "Halloween" event come???

So, we wait and wait for months for an event and then this crap shows up!!! why and for what???
It's obvious what the "Magnificent 7" are doing and that is to empower even more the heavy PvP class.
In the 1st Dragan you gave the set to them and with the 2nd you made sure no one else would get it.

Yes, I could farm 24/7 for the whole event and if i'm lucky (which i'm not, you already saw my gear...all crap) to complete the set, but i'm not going to do that, I prefer to watch others desperately asking for "Please inv me" (which is actually very sad), the "Magnificent 7" is making fun of the F2P and low P2P class, very good job....i applaud you BP....clap, clap, clap!!!!

Is this what we can expect for X-mas event??? Dragan 3.0 with X-mas rewards???

Ya know what...I've said this several times....I'm not that intelligent when it comes to these computer matters. I don't get on the TS to often. Shoot, I'm still lvl 9 there. I'm not that good with alot of stats as far comparing this stat against that one and coming out with some mathematical answer.

I do enjoy this game. I think the Jack-o-Squires is a pretty cool little touch to the holiday. I really love the fact of Heredur and, my favorite, Sargon on the same map. The same as Multi-Serv, I too, am on 4/8. I spent almost 10 hours yesterday helping my lower lvled guildies and today getting those 4/8 done.

KNow all this, I must say I do not agree with the fact that y'all are gonna reset the quest line. Alot of work/time/effort has gone into that progress. As has been asked before, didn't y'all know this on the TS? Isn't that what the TS is FOR?

And I must side with NightCrawler....if y'all are gonna do that we really should get compensated for our perils. It's the proper and right thing to do.....which means it'll never happen. After all.....WE PLAY DSO

 

Hi... I really like this event so far.

BUT...

Im really annoyed that the sargon weopon adornment i found is level 45! I am only level 42.

Why is this? Will this be changed? I really don't want to wait so long just to use it...

 

so if the quests are all starting from the beginning again, are we getting all the pearls back? i am down to about 10 now so it will take the first 3 days of event to farm enough to get back to where i was having completed 4/8??

 

Yes I agree with Bloodstain and I like the map Castle Ravenclaw it awsome place for farming ^^.

But about the Hotfix reset chest im disappointed. It wasted our time 2 days farming pearl doing quest until 5/8. So I hope the Devs think and compensate us for Pearls.

About the drop rate of Sargon set I think too hard. I done 6 runs map 150 pearls, but just got shield Heredur. I dont have much time to farm pearls to enter that map, but the drop rate so low, so sad about it, some player feel frustrated from the 1st day. But I still keep hoping and trying to get in that map again for Sargon set, I just worry it will like the Essence Event that I did over 60 runs to get the Torso Essense set. Too tired and hopeless.

to be honest ... not really. Don't know how much pearls you need to get to 4/8, but I farm around 250 pearls /hour. Guess it takes 3 to 4 hours to get to 4/8

not sure on getting to 4/8 but first quest needs 340 pearls to do. unlike some people who play i don't have hours spare each day just to farm before i can even start the quests. and especially not when i had done them already
