    Hello Heroes,

    In Short
Release 144 brings a great new feature - the group finder. Apart from that, we improved the fairness in the game by removing some items from the shop. Read below for more information.

    New Features

    Group Finder
Let us present our new group finder to you. It allows you to search for groups or for groups to search for players. We want to overhaul the current group system to allow players to name their groups and allow players to join. Players should be able to use groups to communicate with other players and see what events or challenges they want to join.
Based on all your feedback, we made some improvements and added some new features to the group function:

If you receive a group invitation, you will now see the following details of the sender:
    • Class
    • Level
    • PVP rank
    • Group name (Add to group requests only)
Players who are not part of a group can now use the “Group” tab in the “Player Search” window to see groups in their area, listed by name, number of members, and the name of the group leader.

Clicking a group in this overview will open a tooltip showing the group’s members.
Players can join a group that is highlighted with a button at the bottom of the window.
Starting now, the group leader can change the group name. The advantage here is that the group name can be something informative that lets other players know the group's objective and purpose, for example, “DraganeventLevel45OnlyJoinHere”. The name may not include any blank spaces and can contain up to 40 characters maximum.
Group notifications can be disabled in the “Group” tab or in an opened notification.

New Chat Menu Function to Ignore Players
Currently there is or was no convenient way to ignore players in the chat, so lots of players did not know how they could ignore other players (if they were spamming, for example). At the moment, you need to click the player’s name while pressing down CRTL. We wanted to change this by improving the chat's context menu so that it also features an ignore option. That’s why we added a convenient ignore function to the chat window.

    Changes

Removal of Kaboom Explosives – Kaboom Item Removed from Shops
We want to enhance the regular PvE gameplay and improve the game in regards to fairness and its balance. Therefore, we removed the item “kaboom explosive” from the shop. You will however still be able to get this item via the daily login bonus.

    Removal of XP Elixirs
We removed the Experience Elixirs from all merchants in the game, since they don't fit our new monetization philosophy. All Experience Elixirs existing in your inventories can still be used.

    Tone Down Essences in PvP
Based on the community’s feedback, we decided to make PvP fairer and more appealing. That’s why we made the following changes:
Essences of Combat (blue), Essences of War (violet) and Essences of Destruction (red) don’t provide any bonus damage against players anymore.
These essences can no longer be consumed in PvP arena battles, so you can keep them equipped and don’t have to unequip them before signing up for a PvP match.
These essences can still be consumed in the open PvP world, since you could hit players and monsters at the same time.
Red/blue/violet essences in open PVP: They can be consumed but won’t inflict damage to other players. However, they will still increase damage against monsters in open PvP zones.
Essences of Aggression (green) are unaffected and provide their normal damage against players and monsters everywhere.

    Skill Cool-down Refactoring
If a skill gets interrupted before it actually triggers its effect, it will no longer start its cool-down. A short safety cool-down of one second is triggered instead.
E.g.: Two warriors stand opposite each other and are using the “Ground Breaker” skill, for example. Player 1 was faster and uses this skill first, while player 2 is still in the air on the way down ready to activate the skill.
Old: Both players have “Ground Breaker” on cool-down, but only player 2 got stunned and damaged.
New: Only player 1 has “Ground Breaker” on cool-down. Player 2 got stunned and damaged, but can use his/her “Groundbreaker” when the stun is over.

    Bug-fixes

Talking in Group Channel after Leaving Group
Whenever players left a group and were not correctly logged out from the associated group chat channel, they could still view and write group chat messages in this channel. As part of the new group finder feature, this issue has been fixed.

    Cape Inventory Slot
The inventory slot for the cape had the upgrade number in the top left corner, kept from when the cape was above the shield slot. Now the upgrade number for the cape is in the top left corner, in line with other slots on the left of the character.

    Heredur Pet: No Cool-down
The Heredur doll pet had no cool-down like the other pets. This was just a bug. We've now fixed it so that the Heredur pet also has now a cool-down time.

    Mount Casting Animation
When you tried to use your mount while the character was still fulfilling his last movement order, the mount casting stopped immediately. Furthermore, if you tried to use the mount again afterwards, the casting bar from the casting animation was not displayed anymore. The mounting still worked if you waited long enough, but you weren't sent any feedback like is usually done and therefore you thought it was a bug.
Fix: Player’s character stops immediately when using a mount item.

    Bronze Dye Not for Sale
The item “Fine Bronze” is the only dye that is not worth any game currency, and therefore cannot be sold to merchants. We fixed it so that it can now be sold.

    Zero Drop for Groups
    As announced here.

Go forth and conquer, heroes of Dracania!
    Best regards,

    Hello Heroes,

The above patchnotes are missing a vital point:

    Improved Loot Effects
The glowing effect of items that have just dropped has been improved to help you recognize the rarity of the item easier.

The following rarities have received an improvement:
    • Regular Items (white glow)
    • Improved Items (green glow)
    • Magic Items (blue glow)
    • Extraordinary Items (purple glow)
    • Legendary Items (orange glow)
    • Unique Items (golden yellow glow)
Health globes still have the same visual drop effect.
    Best regards,

    Hello Heroes,

There was another point missing from the patchnotes:

    Improved Loot Effects
    The lockpicks will have a new graphics, looking like a small handbag;
The gems will no longer be all dark green, they will display their respective colour when dropped (for example, rubies are red, sapphires are blue).
    Best regards,
    Your Drakensang Online Team

    Hello Heroes,

We would like to inform you about a known issue:
If the group name is way too long and uses big capital letters like "M" it can overlap with other texts. Group Request Notifications always refer to the female version of a class even though the addressed character is actually of male gender.
    Best regards,
    Your Drakensang Online Team
