yeah! Do you think there is a whole lot of difference ? I mean with this staff I'm already standing over 15k of damage (with green).
And those enchantments for increased weapon damage are pretty darn rare lol... well for a reason I suppose :p

Big difference. Here is a little math:
Your % Damage on this item lines were on the low side, but your % damage lines were near max. For argument's sake, I'll make a couple of assumptions.

Assuming 61% damage lines and 78% damage on this item lines
    Assuming 38%+ damage torso.
Assuming same base weapon damage as seen in your previous screenshot.
Assuming Black Warlord 30% weapon damage
Assuming all other gear the same
Assuming 50% weapon damage from Behemoth
    Assuming 50% damage from knowledge
Assuming about 240 damage from rubies in weapon
    Assuming Character base damage 360
Assuming about 120-130 damage from items other than weapon

I know you've upgraded the weapon and that is where the 15k number is coming from, but this should give you the basic idea.

    Weapon 1 (4x % damage on this item)Weapon 2 (2x% damage/2x% damage on this item)
    1. Base Damage: 321-561
    2. Base Damage with Rubies: 561-801
    3. % Damage on this Item (DotI): 312%
    4. Base Damage after % DotI: 2132.32-3300.12
    5. Damage Black Warlord and Behemoth: 3838.18-5940.22
    6. Base Character Damage: 360
    7. Raw Damage from Gear or rubies not in weapon: 120-130
    8. Total Base Damage: 4210.18-6430.22
    9. Total % Damage from Weapon: 0%
    10. Total % Damage from Gear: 38%+50%(knowledge)=88%
    11. Total % Damage: 88%
    12. Displayed Damage on Character Page: 7915-12089 (Avg=10002)
    13. Damage with Blues: 12125-18519 (Avg=15322)
    14. Damage with Purples: 16335-24949 (Avg=20642)
    15. Damage with Reds: 20546-31379 (Avg=25963)
    1. Base Damage: 321-561
    2. Base Damage With Rubies: 561-801
    3. % Damage on this Item (DotI): 156%
    4. Base Damage after % DotI: 1436.16-2050.56
    5. Damage Black Warlord and Behemoth: 2585.09-3691.01
    6. Base Character Damage: 360
    7. Raw Damage from Gear or rubies not in weapon: 120-130
    8. Total Base Damage: 3065.09-4181.01
    9. Total % Damage from Weapon: 122%
    10. Total % Damage from Gear: 38%+50% (knowledge)=88%
    11. Total % Damage: 210%
    12. Displayed Damage on Character Page: 9501-12961 (Avg=11231)
    13. Damage with Blues: 12567-17142 (Avg=14855)
    14. Damage with Purples: 15632-21323 (Avg=18478)
    15. Damage with Reds: 18697-25504 (Avg=22101)

So, you can see, while they are close with no essence (or with green essence) and the % damage based one even wins by a little bit, this advantage disappears once you consider essence due to the essence being factored in in the same calculation step as the % damage from items. The essence is "diluted" by the presence of the large % damage numbers from the weapon.
And just in case you were wondering, if you upgrade the weapon, this gap just get bigger and the 4x% damage on this item gets so much better.

So, assuming that you'll be using at least blue essence in fatal or infernal, then it is clear which weapon is more desirable.

Yep... it was their way of deincentivising the old absolute enchantment. That is the original crit line of about 230 transferred to a LVL 53 item without scaling up to what it should have been at LVL53, and then being scaled up to 60 with glyphs.

    Hmmm...
The first item SanGuinius94 has is <something><something> of Grimmag.
The second item is ... ... some item.

It's an English forum and all I can tell is that the second items has 4 good enchantments and 2 not as good base stats, and is really lacking in slots.

    Both are Weapon Decoration.
As for me the number of slots on the Legendary not important. Since Both items going to be transfer craft.

The first item is the tier IV grimmag adornment for rangers, the second is legendary arrows for rangers. My guess is the next step is to put the enchantment from the legendary arrows on the grimmag adornment. The result would be a tier 4 adornment which has +52 damage and +1083 crit damage base stats at level 60 and 4 gold lines adding another 116.54% crit hit value.

As there is also has 4 onyxes for +1008 crit (and possibly a 5th +225 in storage), once the leg stats are transferred the result would be +2091 crit × 2.11654, for 4425 crit (4902 crit if a 5th +225 crit gem is added).

    It's exactly that ^^

Look at this, i know me onyx are low, but i'm not premium at all, and mystic cubes give a lot of offensives stones

With this, i win around 14% of critical rate, i know it's low, but i guess with 5 333 onyx i will win more than 20%

I got a little "Welcome Back" present from the crafting bench last night.

I'm a little sad that I lost the base stats from this ingredient:
But in the end, the goal will be to transfer those % HP lines to a unique defensive anyway, so I decided to take it despite the minor loss. Still, if I had gotten those enchantments and the two gold base lines, it would have been amazing!

    Arx_X Advanced

you're the math guru but still... didn't you lose 100% HP on this item worth of HP by going from 12xx to 6xx ? even more considering the hp increase with a base stat of 1200 hp and ~50% gold lines (even if only 2/3 exo).
sure this is all irrelevant if you craft them with 4 gold lines in an unique with great base lines like you plan to.
The question is.. what will bp do to all our items in future updates

Either get 30%+ lines or you don't craft them at all :p

    Yes, but...
I have 4/4 speed gloves with 39.45% speed that I use most of the time and this is simply for building defensive enchantments for down the road to put on to a unique defensive pair of gloves.

First, I'd have to get one 30% line on a blue or greenn... of which I've seen zero.
