Hi, i bought shoulders and armor from Darkness set with my last Draken. For Shoulders i got almost min stats, it's not very important but i needed a good armor and look what i got...



Thank you very much DSO for this EDIT spent all my Draken for nothing ! Draken are so rare, it's very sad to get that in exchange. Few monthes farming for nothing. The kind of things that will make me stop this game.

Edit : When we get this kind of stats, it would be nice to have a message like "Happy Christmas Falk101, enjoy your game !"

 

Its not DSO problem, its your problem. First of all, here on the forums we kept saying that this set is not worth mainly because its tier 0, but also because you spend draken for something that is both tier 0 and it does not have guaranteed values. Secondly, you know very well that every single item has min and max values. When you decide to buy a unique item for draken, most of the time you should not care about its base stats but more about its enchantments, like karabossa pauldrons, or about the stats the set gives. You cannot say
thanks DSO for the min stats of the item" when you know very well that all items are like that. Its your own choice that is wrong in the first place, because you know very well there are not guaranteed base stats

 

It doesn't mean he cannot say here at the forum that there is something wrong with the concept of selling a black box t0 item for ridiculous amount of rare currency and also to show others what the result might be. So others think ten times before doing so themselves, and perhaps do that only for the item they really really need which has no match in the PWs, or, if they have everything the possibly can and buying this crap is the only way to get better.

In other words there is nothing wrong with his post, and his complain. Even if he knew. It's still worth the discussion and, primarily, feedback to the dev.

 

Son, the post is completely wrong no matter how you look at it. Why is that? Because here we are not talking about a noob player has been playing this game for 1-4 months. Not only that, but before the release of the patch that was introducing the reworked darkness set, trakilaki and other experienced players here on the forum were discussing alot about the worth of these items and everything we needed to know. The fact that every single item in the game has min and max values is well known and that goes for these items as well. We kept saying and saying that this set is not worth buying especially for players that have better items, like dragan set and in high tier as well. If he wanted to buy it for its unique enchantments and the set bonuses, then that would be understandable, but what he does is complain about its base stats when he knows very well that they are not guaranteed in any item.As for the feedback that the devs would recieve from post like that, as i mentioned above, there are many similar posts in the test server thread when we were discussing everything about this set, not only here but on other forums as well. All i see here is a post to complain about his fault. What did he expect when he bought it, that he will get max stats because he spent drakens? That would be nice, but its not like that for any event item and when she spent them he knew that it would be tier 0 without standard values

 

I complained because i'm angry to do not have luck. When i buy a PW item it's ok if i have bad stats beause i know i can farm materi and buy several items till i get good stats, but drakens are rares and this set appears very rarely. For this amount of Drakens i just would like to get something correct... I knew it was risky to buy that and i took the risk but this system min-max is very boring when you don't have luck. In this game 90% is based on luck, if you're lucker you're a master.

Edit : And it's nice to complain, you feel little better after that. You should try...

Edit 2 : To complete my idea, a lucker can get all in this game, Andermant chests with 1 million, jackpot from 100 keys chest, best stats on items, best uniques, etc. Life would be easier here with little luck and especially this morning when i spent my last Drakens i farmed during few monthes. Maybe it would be nice if BP introduce "lucky runes" or something like that.

 

Like i said son, you should not have bought this set and i doubt you speficically need it.I dont know how many times we kept advicing people not to buy it. Angry not to have luck? You know that the base stats of the items are pure rng no matter if they are event items or pw items.You think only the min-max value system is not fair? You think crafting is fair? Its been like 3-4 months now that i have done more than 100 crafts with 2x3/4 with 2x1/4 or 2x2/4 and even with 2x3/4 and yet i dont seem able to get the 4/4. RNG is everywhere and like i said , for an experienced player like you its your own decision and fault in the end

 

So why you craft ? It's better you keep your gold. This is your logical... I did the same when i bought my set but i will not have other chances. I know fault is mine but what can we do in this game if we don't try ?

When you will fail some 4x3 maybe you will come to complain here like i did and somebody will tell you "why you tryed 4x3 ?"

The fact that he bought it is none of your business.
The purpose he bought it for is also none of your business.
Even though you do read what Traki has to say, and I do, doesn't mean everyone does.

Even though he knows it is a gamble, and I know it, it doesn't mean he cannot complain for spending rare drakens for a chance and provide if as a feedback to the dev.

And he has a right to post this feedback not breaking any of the forum rules, and this is, again, non of your business.

And finally the fact that you complain about someone's providing feedback showing off all your knowledge doesnt give you much points either, father.

 

Do you see the difference between what i said and what you said? First of of all, this set as it is now is only for starters and for better or worse there are items in the game that are ot worth buying, even many of the pw items, let alone spent drakens for items that are objectively bad. Secondly, you compare crafting to this. That is completely wrong and you cannot compare it. Why? is that? Because crafting is the most important thing in the game and you need gold for that which is easy to get and crafting is the best use of gold. Lastly, i did tell you above that i failed many many times in crafting and i knew i could not do much about it and my luck , but i did not come here complaining about it.
P.S: Spending Drakens for tier 0 items and expecting to get good values in 1 buy vs crafting Gold to get a 4/4 item, which will make much more impact when you craft. The decision is yours

I stop here this discussion... devs can see some players are unhappy with this system min-max for items with buy with so rare money, that's ok for me. I assume my choice and if i had more Drakens i would do the same. These items are not useless, just need to get good stats, to upgrade them T5, LVL60 and to craft them. Look how much critical you can get with armor + shoulders...

 

Yes, its none of my business that he bought it, nor is the purpose that he bought it, but since he decided to do it, with all the consequenses that this move might have, he should just blame himself for it and not come to complain that its DSO fault. When you know the consequences of what you are doing, the only one to blame is you and then your luck. Thats what gamblers in casinos should do.

I did not say its wrong to post the feedback, i said its unnecessary when there is a whole new thread and feedback about this set.

All stats will be lower when upgrading to level 55 ... compared to level 55 items. Including the yellow unique value

I don't know what is your plan with that pouldron & torso. But if do have real plan on it.. I will say, just do it.
Assuming you are looking for high base armor on that torso. Also assuming you are planing to upgrade it to T5.
With diminishing return on armor rating calculation. The min-max value on torso have not much different when you are nearly 70% or above 70% armor rating.

After all you still have options to cover what the torso lacking of.

 

Well, not that im fond of the idea of wasting valuable resources to upgrade it to tier 5, but you are correct. Little difference will it make if he has above 70% armor, assuming that he wont go for an item like this in a tank setup ofc

I tryed shoulders (i already boosted them T5) + torso and i jump from 70% critical infernal 2 to 80% and without the pet. But to can farm infernal 2 with that i need to keep good defense, that's why i need good stats on Torso.

Maybe i mistake but it seems to me all armors (Q8, Dragan and Darkness) have the same base values. In the following screen, you can see the darkness T0 and the Q8 T1. Would be better to compare to the same tier but we can't.



If i can open the 1500 chest before tomorow i will try to buy another armor (will cross fingers a lot...). Of course it will be very long to boost the armor T5, i will need to farm about 5000 draken. Then i need to craft a good leg again for armor and for shoulders. It seems to be crazy and it will take few monthes to have all fine but i believe it will be very nice.

And i like the armor design ^^



Edit : At lvl60 shoulders gives 899 critical + 899 from armor + 10% set bonus.. it's very nice ^^

 

Not our problem, thats how the game is and i would not come here whining about it. Do you think he is the first player that has low values on an item or the only one that has bought items with drakens and is displeased? grow up man.

80% crit rate for inf 2 is very nice.
Other than Q1 torso.. Yes, I think all torso have the same base stats.
With the Min base stats you may have 200-300 less armor. If your armor already nearly 70% or above.. that 200-300 armor would give you 1%-2% increase in armor rating, depend on the runes.
This is just rough calculation from me who isn't perfectionist in building a toon.

Monsters in inf 2 have 300% more increased in damage compared with monsters in inf 1, I think it does not make much different if only 1%-2% increased in armor.

I have 74,61% armor inf 2 in 2h mode. If i upgrade my min stats from darkness set and craft it with an equal 4x gold you think i will loose only 1 or 2% ?

All Unique Items are following a pattern ... there are few patterns per type but the base stats are the same per pattern.
That is how i am creating Wiki articles ... reasoning the patterns. If i were waiting on player's help ... nothing would be updated in Wiki (god forbid waiting on dev's help).
For that purpose i have created This Article ... once I have all the patterns I will update them. The idea behind the article was to help me create and update the items ... it supposed to help me but when updated it will help the other players as well
