Feedback The Way You Gated The Game

FOR MAAAAAAAAANY YEARS, BEFORE THE TEAM CHANGE, THE CURRENCY USED TO ENTER EVENTS WAS REALM FRAGMENTS.
THEN THE GREEDY TEAM CAME, THEY SAW THAT OLD PLAYERS HAD TOO MUCH AGS AND THEY WERE NOT SPENDING ON ITEM SHOP.
THEN A SMART GUY CAME INTO THE ROOM AND SAID: "HERE ME OUT, I HAVE A GREAT IDEA, MAKE ALL EVENTS ONLY PLAYBLE THROUGH AGS AS KEY, SCREW REALM FRAGS, MAKE THEM SPEND EVREYTHING THEY HAVE UNTIL THEY HAVE NOTHING, THIS WILL MAKE THEM FOR SURE PAY MONEY TO PLAY EVENTS"

THE "BRILLANT" GAME LOOP AROUND AGS => ENDLESS FARM Q5 FOR IP THEN => ENDLESS FARM BLOOD CHESTS! HOW FUN! WHAT AN AMAZING GAME! CONGRATULATIONS!

 

I understand you, but that you can't do anything about it also because, evidently there are players who have no problem spending money.
If the developers have decided that the game should be like this, well, it's not so hard to ignore this aspect of it.

Ignoring this aspect of the game is very easy for casual players, certainly not for those who take it a little more seriously. Who cares if the game is like this and if people want to spend, maybe it is also thanks to their money that the game is still standing.

 

I agree with the Original post.. this game has become a pointless grind to achieve absolutely nothing in the end but to spend money and I for one refuse to give this group any of my money just so they can then turn around and continually give us some of the worst development content I have seen from a gaming company .. if your a true gamer that plays games for the enjoyment then you would be against this type of greed just like most players that's been around before the sell off of DSO when the game was developed for the players not for money.. anyone that would support this monstrosity of greed and say it's ok have no idea what real development of a game is about (the players not themselves).. it's sad that this game has fallen so far away from what it once was..

 

They took this path for a while now and most older players either quit or only play for the social aspect while complaining how the game sucks now lol. I'm part of the 2nd club

To be fair; from what I see in all events, I don't miss out on anything...i don't care about a new mount that just has a different color, pets that are not better than my mortis pet or new mythics that are not better than my current build and make it impossible to combine partial sets or anything.

Seems they did manage to get quite some players (im guessing from steam) who are willing to pay for everything, so we can all complain till we drop dead...nothing will change.

 

Very true FAALHAAS.. I just like to come on here to show DSO that not everyone is ok with this type of GREED.. because in the end the players that choose to be silent and Pay doesn't benefit the gamers or the games development or direction it only makes the owners of BIGPOINT richer because they have already decided what direction DSO is going to be.. I just hate to see the game being destroyed over a few bucks.. but hey what do I really know I stopped playing and moved back over to D2 the game that DSO originally was a copy of when I realized it was turning into a "GOTCHA" game mostly developed from these types of greedy gaming companies..
