There are many many complaints i've been seeing about botting. However i don't see botting as the only issue and the solution to two very big problems can be handled with one fix.

Firstly talking about bots, there are several reasons bots may be used. One is simply for grinding things like dust and probably not really the biggest percentage of bot users. Secondly is for pvp which is easier to get reported and eventually banned so kinda takes care of itself in the end and isn't the highest percentage of botters either.

The biggest group of botters is probably bloodchest farming. Now the real issue here is not only the bots but f2p players with alot of time as well because they can amass millions of ander. They show this on places like discord and youtube.

The issue here is in many many cases companions and sets are offered in the game for andermant which totally spits in the face of paying players, who don't have alot of time to grind and do not have an issue supporting the game by making real money purchases. We are the players that keep the game going financially and will continue to do so as long as a change is made.

It is not right that botting ander farmers or f2p ander farmers should have all the same new companions and sets as the paying players. There is nothing wrong with making everything farmable with a very high bar to obtain but not for anderment that any botter and f2p that farms bloodchests can easily obtain.

If it takes more than one event for f2p to obtain something then so be it. It's only fair.

My suggestion is to resolve at least the majority of botters and make it much fairer to the payers that are keeping the game alive financially is simple. REMOVE anderment from bloodchests. It doesn't need to be there.

You could instead make bloodchests more for players trying hard to finish their builds once they get to the point of being able to farm bloodchests by increasing the gem drops from bloodchests, also adding realm frag drops from bloodchests, even materi.

Now one idea i have since i know this going to be a very unpopular opinion, is to at least have a way for f2p to be able to have a chance to grind for new set pieces and maybe even companion stuff all throughout the year while doing bloodchests.

Allow bloodchests to have a drop table that includes ingredients needed for previous mythic sets and companion parts and sets. Obviously the drop rate needs to be low, like lower or the same as varnok star shards. But this would be incentive for farming bloodchests and ander would no longer be needed anyway because all the stuff they used to buy with ander as far as sets go can be farmable. NOT easy but farmable.

I truly believe this would seriously reduce the number of bots, not all but reduce them and at the same time encoourage payers to keep paying to get the newest stuff without waiting and not feel like spending is a waste of time because some botter or f2p has millions of ander to get the same stuff just as fast.

I would remove the option for new set stuff to be bought for ander and have it only as a slow long grind or cash. Plain and simple, the game needs income to survive and grow. Obviously thats not coming from things like premium and deluxe so store cash options are where it's made.

However those options are in many cases devalued when it comes to new sets and companions when any f2p or botter doing bloodchests can instantly buy all the same stuff. I sincerely hope the devs read this and do whatever they need to to run the numbers and reach the same conclusion because there have already been purchases i personally have not made because i saw it was available for ander and any of these botters or f2p could get the same thing by spending ander directly or buying the passes or keys with ander to get the materials.

If someone can't or doesn't want to spend money in the game that's perfectly ok but you should not expect all the best stuff in the game right away or even in one event. Play f2p for the long haul not instant gratification with millions of free ander because you had nothing but time to run or bot.

Anyway i hope the devs read this and seriously consider what has been said.

Ps - Something else i thought of is since some botters are botting to grow accounts quickly, get the best stuff and SELL them this idea of removing anders from bloodchests would also reduce that also because they would be able to farm gem dust to grow accounts but not have the best mythic equipment to make accounts enticing to sell.

And me have also a question: Have your gameplay is based only on farm BC? if yes, then i have no words. If no, then consider the fact of cost upgrading slots, runes, gems, inventory etc. Also the point if they change a fuel of different stuff, then they change again way to obtain.
I agree with bots they should be removed, they didn't get any profits anyway.
I also agree P2W stuff should be balanced with F2P when it comes for pvp.
And also agree to change way of improvement F2P, to catch level of P2W. But removing of bloodchests andermaters? That is nonsense.
About the dust the worst part of game. I'm sick of it. Prefer look for stories then grind.Waiting for events and focus on play, then run multiple times on map. [Why you want to say? Because, is not repeatable and not have to worry about the stats].Campaign still the same, nothing change. We got only extra chapter with Atlantis and that's all, Pvp Unplayable. Thanks to the fact of new sets.

If YOU think that is one problem then answer is NO IS NOT one problem.
Ah about andermaters possible to give on events like that days, but, then we haven't problem with slots on gems or runes we could drop them all!
But inventory still will be the same, and that' is another main problem. Why should i spend on inventory space if i have to grind items. Tell me because progress char ? In what a way if the game is based on stats not the space of inventory.
Anyway its 50/50. Your post is Half truth and half false.

Sorry, but if a ftp spends the time & effort to farm ander then there's absolutely nothing wrong about them getting the items you DECIDED to pay cash for. If they're botting then sure, that's not right & hopefully they get banned for doing it. I've never seen anyone bot, but I also rarely group & don't really pay much attention to it anyway.

If you want to feel special because you decide to spend cash then there's plenty of games out there that let you boast being a cash player over a ftp player. Stop worrying about other players & enjoy the game. It doesn't matter in PVE & PVP still sucks either way.

As a ftp I don't find it easy at all grinding bloodchest so you can shove that statement up the yahoo, lol. Grinding bloodchest is boooooring as heck. I've seen people talk about "jackpots", but I've never hit one & with the amount of IP's needed it's just an endless grind of farming IP's just to get a little ander. I keep waiting for Smugglers event, but devs are so greedy I'm almost to the point I don't care if people bot anymore.

If anything, I'd say the devs actually encourage botting with the crazy amount of items their shoving in the game with every event & they know spenders are going to buy it no matter what. Can't be letting a ftp player look better than you (maybe not you personally, but lots of spenders do have that mindset & devs know it). If you really want to protest what they're doing, then don't spend money since that's what's going to affect their decision-making the most in the end.

Also have to remember it's a CHINESE company now, so that pretty much says it all.
