Nah, it only works on the main rewards. It doesn't work for the bonus 7-day/14-day rewards, or at least it didn't in previous versions.

 

If we're not getting a bonus-code with 1 amethyst, then I know they really don't give a shit about their players. The far mayority of players didnt get a single drop this event, but since a couple players are ''lucky'' they think everything works fine.

It's just an absolute disgrace this how you think players should experience an event. (many people even buy the pet for 10% increase droprate....and still can't drop 1 fking amethyst!)


If 99 outof 100 players dont drop it, maybe do something about the droprate huh. This is not an item which you only need 1 time, you need multiple, which shouldnt have such stupid ass low droprate.

 

It’s naive to expect that 10% pet to actually be useful—it’s just a nice-looking pet for the collection, especially when even the cloak seems like a placebo.

The Chinese devs and managers are shamelessly pushing P2W mechanics, regardless of the fact that it’s the game’s anniversary. To get amethysts, you need to run the boss or crystal arena 200–300 times (which requires far more portal entries than the relatively free ones available), plus grind 1,500–2,500 runs at Varnok’s for shards. Alternatively, you could buy chests for millions and craft 1,000 cakes, hoping to get amethysts.

By the way, the weapon—like all the mercenaries and other new sets—is designed for reaching level 100 in the Tower. I don’t own a single piece of that set, so for me, the weapon will just be a new skin.
My main hero has done fewer than 100 portal runs and has only 2 amethysts and zero weapon drops (out of the 10 required), though he does have a Tier 1 weapon from last year. My Spellweaver is luckier—she has 9 amethysts (needs 15), but she had more portal entries saved up from before because she was weak. My Dwarf is completely cursed: 1 amethyst and no weapon after around 200 arena runs. Congrats—alongside the "scam cave," we now have "scam birthday arenas" too.

My progress in the Tower tracks strangely in Kingshill; if I go to another city, it displays correctly, and after half an hour, it shows up fine everywhere. Also, I have the in-game music turned off, yet it still plays in the Tower—do you devs not know the difference between sound effects and music?
It’s painful to watch what Yoozoo is doing to the game. The Germans didn't create a 5th class, but the Chinese will? Hard to believe. And none of my friends want to come back to it, either... to the a game that resembles a Chinese factory simulation? i don't think so.
