2 Handed Weapons (showcase and talk - DK only)

Sargon's Powerful Torso would be a good choice, I think. Good HP and OK armor, plus 15 HP/sec regeneration. Regeneration is nice to have in some situations.

 

I had the Karabossa Chest piece at first because I didn't have anything else offensive to mix with it. Then after the essence event, I switched to the Red Ess Torso (it was actually a rather good one and had about 150 more armor and only about 100 less HP, and it had roughly equivalent damage except it applied to both upper and lower, not just upper.) Ideally, I would have the Destructor Breastplate because 10% speed would be enormous for a 2H when it comes to increasing DPS, even more than +30 damage would... but we all know how common drops from Destructor are, Right?

The Dark Heart could take good advantage of the 15% armor if you have low armor stats on your other items, and it wouldn't be bad to get a little extra crit. The Sargon one is good, but I would make use of it for a defensive build where HP and HP regen would be more important like in PvP. Biggest reason I don't use either is because the whole reason to use the Dark Warlord set with 2H is do damage and neither of those chest pieces make significant difference on that front.

 

...what about amon chest? (just for get in mind too...)

 

Ammon's chest is not reliable ... since it gives no damage or crit ... it has armor and HP and resistance to cold, fire and ice ... but it have no resistance to andermagic ... which is the most valuable for boss fighting.

 

hmm... ok, it's a good point of view

 

But on that point, just like the other "defensive torsos" I mentioned, it could have use in PvP to boost armor and resistances. Picture the Forgotten Torso leveled up to 45... you would have some massive armor and resistance. You may not get the HP of the new one and would have to spend 450k+ to level it, but it would likely have some very nice armor/resist stats. Now if only it's drop rate weren't 0 (Apparently it drops in Q3 not the advertised Q4 so at least I know where to farm).

That is a massive amount of crit on one weapon though... that is almost as much as I have total, LOL.

My most recent piece of crap 2H sword.

Three crappy lines of crit and a "Meh" line of crit damage and only 2 slots... well, there goes some CoTs towards melt.

Did forget how many 2H's I opened (should be well over 50) So far nothing better then the steam axe. Today I opened one which had 4 good lines. But although the DPS was up to my steam axe, pure dmg was too low.

 

number 55 or somthing like that. This is the first one which gives at lvl45 more DPS then my steam axe ot lvl48. Although not completely what I was looking for, still a keeper in case there comes an item with high crit dmg. (what was that bug with dragen items ??)

 

My 37 DK uses this. The damage line is pretty low, but it is 109% weapon damage! I will upgrade it untill I find a 45 item that is as good.

 

@_Static_ To be very honest to find anything close at 45 could be very difficult. 3x Wep% all being that high I would be content with it. I am sure you deal a great amount of damage with that.

 

+1 when i saw that, i was thinking of opening lower level of 2H too, they save some CoT. My lvl48 steamaxe doesn't have that dmg

 

The craziest thing is that at level 37, he has more damage than many high end level 45 2H DKs... no wonder he has such an easy time soloing things like Mortis or Dragan hard.

I'am back in action, and on my comeback I got a new legendary 2 handed sword from some box that droped from a monster in stalgard. Weapon has +105 dmg and +83% critical damage with 3 slots (photo latter when server is back online). Should I keep it or melt it?

What does your current weapon have? Is it that ~90% weapon damage and mid-100s crit from the first page? I would think the weapon damage% would scale better with rubies.

I just opened 3 legendary level 45 2H hammers and pollaxes, plus two 2 level 451H battleaxes. Got bupkis. After a year of opening stuff, still have gotten nothing better than my very first post level-40 item, a level 43 1H black steel sword (glyphed to level 46)

 

My current 2-H is batter and the Critical Hit but worst at critical damage.. hmm
