Crafting 2.0 is here and delivered this beauty to my DK. You can see what it did for my build on the Show What You Have thread.

Hey Armando ... see what little luck (luck that defied the statistics) got me? But because of the changes you defend, people will take a long time to catch up to this.

Good grief Baragain, that weapon has 2/3rds the dmg of my entire character

Congrats. You've just raised the bar on what a DK can look like.

The best part for me is that it reminds me a lot of what I was able to get on Crafting 2.0.2 on the test server.
The only difference is 0.07% less damage and 9 less damage from the baseline enchantment. I'll be hard pressed to replace this axe any time in the next year, or even after LVL 55 is released down the road.

If only this was on an axe or hammer :(

My critical hit rate drops from 40% to 27% but my max damage goes from 3950 to 4520...
Should I keep on using the axe or is that damage and speed better...

It is a good start for a 4/4. I'd recommend trying to replace the 101 damage line with a 1700 crit line and then up both of the % damage lines some, particularly the 72.6%. It a nice weapon though, despite what Trakilaki is saying. Not as good as a 3/1 %D/+D or a 2/1/1 %D/+D/+C, but it is a lot better than anything you could have ever hoped would just drop out of the sky. Now head over to the show what you have thread and show us your stats. I see a LVL 54 weapon and a LVL 55 Grimmag's decoration which should make for a rather impressive build. I'm also curious to see what gems you put in that axe once you open the other 3 slots.

    Compared to mine:
:it is about comparable without gems and glyphs. You have better min damage, I have better max. However, this shows you why the % damage is so much more important than the + damage. When you level yours up, you won't gain as much damage from the improved base stats, nor will you gain as much from each of your gems. For me, a +38 gem is worth 128 damage on the weapon, and then it gets further multiplied by the % damage on the torso, knowledge, and Black Warlord set until that single gem is worth 433 damage in my final build.

I calculated the end weps, your's is approximately 150 DPS stronger with all 38 red gems, the bigger the gem the more DPS you gain. I have all 22's, and I opened 2 more slots, the 5th of 14400 anders will have to wait some time. I'll post later normal build.

Just a lil quest.. does it worth farming fatal maps to get 2h with high % wep dmg?, or just we can get any of them by gambling?, like 3 axes+1 boots to get a random axe(75% chances)?. Cause i always get exos with low % like 43% wep dmg in fatal maps xD

If I do not need the gold or glyphs I gamble junk exos like this. Getting the desired item is less than 75% (short term) since 25% stands a pretty good chance to take the roll. Still I have got a few legends this way that were good enuf to save for future crafting attempts.

Sometimes it is just because the slots randomize also and I get a 4 slot legend to use in one of the last two (consumable) crafting positions.

    Luck be with ye,

I would suggest trying to get green/blue items with yellow lines and transfer them to 2 pinks, so one pink is 2 yellow lines, second pink is 2 yellow lines. Then you do your gamble with 3rd and 4th slot. I had put one yellow line in 3rd and one yellow line in 4th axe but all I got is junk result. Then I had a stroke of luck and put junk axes there and it took all from first 2 items and even gave me the 4th one, whish is random, pretty decent.

And I would suggest you ignore the standard all 4 axes crafting, my 2nd slot was a hammer with 2 yellow lines. Yes you can receive a hammer then, but I like my odds, imagine if I had to wait for another axe with 2 yellow lines (all the blue and green effort). Revert is an awesome ability for this kind of stuff.

All items are from fatal farming q3 plus boss ports sometimes. If premium member then you can do more because of the cubes which you can sell for gold to craft, or to get that 3rd or 4th axe. Free to play player will need more time to produce this, and in the end, it all depends on luck.

And yes, it is possible to get a random yellow line, I have seen it happen on lower grade items, in theory you can get 4x yellow lines on a weapon with crafting 4 pinks into one legendary.

The random craft in the long term isn't going to be as good as attempting to target craft. Although luck still plays into either.

Of course finding 4 good items can prove to be difficult. Heck, finding 1 good item can be difficult.

If you want to save ander by looking for gem slots on top of good enchantment lines, well it can get ugly from there.

I've had better luck with the random (junk) versus the targeting (better items), but neither way has produced anything worth keeping yet since we got the new system.

Is warlord bonus additive or multiplicative to 2h talent bonus?

If I remember correctly from my experiments for my calculator, it is multiplicative. I'll double check later.

Bara any suggestion of a direction to get with this?...

what kind of spells do you think i have to bring in next mixtures?
do i keep looking for % weap dmg?

Gonna take some time - you still need to migrate that blue item gold line to an extraordinary and then into a legendary. I would try to get the blue line into a 2/3 extraordinary and then that into a 3/4 legendary. And then just throw 4 slot legendary items into the 3rd and 4th crafting slot and hope something good comes out.

Then is it better try to craft with this a 3%D/C hammer or i should try with this into a 3%D/D axe?... may be is more interesting to keep the crit line in a hammer and balance with its own higher basic dmg.... any way... is not my will.... its bench will xD
And nova, you are right i know i still have a loooooong way to complete the weapon... that's the game! :D
