    5v5 pvp is getting really booring as of late with these super dks that are almost impossible to kill while holding the flag, dwarfs can do this too but dk more so thanks to their gnob weapon

    now imagine both teams has one of these guys/gals holding the enemy flag...the end result is you spend 15 mins trying to kill the enemy dk and failing

    im not asking for a dk nerf in any way shape or form, if they want to run flags then go for it, they have the skills to do it. There needs to be a limit on how long you can hold onto the flag

    my suggestion is a time limit maybe around 3 mins or so after the flag is autotomaticly returned to its base, 3 mins would be way more then enough time for a dk to do his/her job-(if they choose to play this way)- hauling the enemy flag back home

    this would make 5v5 way more fun imo

    I don't know about this. Some of the more exciting matches I have been involved in occur when both teams have an opposing flag, but then, PVP has been pretty terrible lately.

    I agree. There has to be some changes into the 5v5 game.
    These days, I am playing 5v5 with my DK mostly.
    Even though my DK is quite weak, I can do pretty good with the flag running.
    And running flags means you get quite a lot of fame points every run.
    I think the current system unfairly favors the flag runners and so my weak DK can score much higher points than strong players from other classes.

    First suggestion that I have is to reduce the fame points awarded for capturing the flag.
    Second, there should be some kind of reward for players who defeat the flag carrier of the opposing team.
    However, not to abuse this, there should be some kind of mechanism to prevent multiple kills.
    For example, I suggest that the award of fame points for killing the opposing flag carrier would be given only if within the next 30 seconds your team secure the flag.

    This guarantees that you only get rewarded once per recapturing the flag.

    In addition to this, to prevent/reduce glass cannon builds, there should be an award of fame for staying alive. Lesser number of deaths you have, more fame points should be awarded as well.

    Another new feature that could be added is to record the number of damage you have received.
    But that shouldn't be subjected to fame points.

    That's actually quite interesting! However, wouldn't this favor the team that grabbed the flag later (since they can expect the flag back 3 minutes later)?

    Gotta agree! Those are the matches where you break out into a sweat!

    That's awesome! Shows you're not weak. :) Keep up that travel speed!

    Why would you do this to yourself! You DESERVE those points for running the flag -- most people can't. Plus while flag-running DKs like yourself usually can't deal as much damage, you deserve a chance at the top of the leaderboard too. Also, there is indeed a (small) reward for players who defeat the most flag-carrying players! I don't remember if it's 33 or 50 points (plus a shiny badge).

    i dont use gnob weapon or pots....you win or lose depending who's on your team mostly
