If I have inventory space ... I pick them up for extra silver coins. :D

I tend to hoard them until the stack gets close to max (99) and then I use them. Mostly on end bosses in the game and events. Even then this happens less than with the similar pots for the other classes. Rage pots are the least useful of the classes for me. I am very fond of the "addicted" talent. As long as I am facing a strong attacker I really do not have to worry too much about having zero rage.

More often than not the stack will hit 99 and I will sell them and start over.

    Luck be with ye,

I save them for 1V1 when I have a runner. I can't catch them long enough to hit them, so the rage potion can make a difference. I don't really use them for PvE because I generally am taking enough damage that I don't really run out of rage. The one exception is in the Full Moon map where the mini bosses can do that howl that drops your rage to zero. But even then, if there is enough damage coming my way, I don't need them there either.

I never have a need of them in PvE. But, in PvP...

I use them in 5v5 when I have the flag but they also have ours. It makes for a nice surprise when a bloodthirsty Spellweaver or Ranger shows up and thinks I don't have any rage. I play "bird with a broken wing" for a while, running away, taking a few minor ranged hits - to keep the full rage up and to "sell" the scenario - until he gets too confident and too close in chasing me, then I turn around and give him the full-on iron brow/smash, smash, smash treatment.

I also use them when defending in 6v6; if I see an enemy making a run for the structures and my battle cry is on cool-down. Having rage in those situations can make all the difference in a close game. Just getting an Iron Brow on someone means they might die from tower fire. In 6v6 red side, they can be used just before attacking a structure yourself, but you usually don't need them since the enemy generally supplies all the rage you need in the form of hitting you. Sometimes, if no enemies are around and I have too many of them, I'll use one on a structure just to get rid of it and end the match faster.

Mainly, though, I don't think about using them that much until my stack hits about 90 or so: or one of those "clutch" situations above occurs in a close game. If the game is not a close match, anyway, I usually don't bother using one.
