Agathon Server- All Connection Attempts Have Failed

I'll make it simple. I play on Agathon server, and I cannot even get to my character selection screen. I can sign in onto other servers with no issue, and have tried switching between the browser and the client with no success. I have also tried cmd>ipconfig/dnsflush, as well as the appdata/temp/dsoclient folder delete, neither of which have worked. I also uninstalled and re-installed the client, which obviously did not work. Also, signing in on another computer has no effect either. I would like to know what would cause such a specific problem, and why I was cut off from gameplay and have been unable to log on in almost 3 hours.

 

I don't think it is just you. I can't get online either. I'm on the Agathon server as well. I have tried both the thin client and the web and also cannot get to my character selection screen. I get the dreaded blue "retry" button.

it's been like that for 2-3 hours for me too.

 

same problem here - was on last night with NO problems. I'm going to assume that since others are having an issue as well that there was some failed attempt at repairing the Nebeula Error bug. guess it's a good thing I'm not PAYING for this.

 

Same problem as you yours guys;
I am thinking about quitting DSO; a great game with so many bugs and problems in addition to other game-play related things. It takes centuries to level up, storage isnt free, everything needs Ander', drops are really bad so you will be obliged to spend more and more money.
I have spent 50$ on this game coz I love it but even that wouldnt make the game-play any better.
I think the game needs fundamental changes if they want it to keep existing.

 

Same issue about a year later. Is it just Agathon? I too have paid money into this character and am not about to just make a new one on another server. Can we get some help with the U.S servers please?

 

They are doing testing on correcting for lag issues. If you are on the Agathon or Tegan server and are located in Canada or the US, you can sign up to help figure out a solution to the problem. There is a link in the pop up when you sign in to join the group evaluating problems.
