All currency's are sheared in profile.

You need golds for combining and taking gems out. Also need gold to lvl up knowledge. 1 gold per day is not enough for anything, and farming golds is the hardest part of having a baby char (except in case of big friends willing to take you to scary places so you can sell stuff)..

 

You need a lot of gold to combine gems at the higher gem levels. I'm not talking about 1 gold, more like 3 or 4 gold per gem created.

 

I have a lvl 2 SW and i can farm for 10 gold coins per hour if i'm lucky with item drops...and i buy glyphs to increase damage/health/armor its much cheaper than buying gems.

I agree with thinker about the sharing, but its indifferent to me if DSO will or not allow it.

 

I dont know what you are talking about,i dont need eny gold to add gems to my armor.

Bearer-of-Death is right,gems are not used allot for low lvl strength building and the glyphs are a big problem and DSO sould not have put it in for normal armor,it sould only be for event armor and other special armor like Amon's armor.

 

You are correct, you don't need gold to add any gem to an item. You need gold to combine gems into a higher tier gem and to remove any gem from an item. As gems get near the highest tier, those two actions can get quite expensive.

Edit: I'm not sure where anyone said you need gold to add gems to items... maybe they deleted the comment. I don't see that said anywhere recently.

That doesn't explain why, in your post before, you indicated that someone said we need gold to add gems to armor. I don't see that anywhere in this thread.

Maybe someone deleted the post, I don't know, but if you're responding to someone you should quote them. Otherwise, then it looks like you're responding to the person with the post before yours if they delete their post.

 

Well everyone said thet it would be a bad idea because of people thet combine the gems but the fact is thet it takes allot of time to get even the weakest gems at low lvl and you need 3 of the same and thet takes even longer pus you will lvl up for killing to meany mobs unless you are lvl 12 and up.

 

It takes a few seconds to buy gems And thanks to your great idea it allows
every P2W player buy perfect gems in their low level toons .... Without spending time to collect the gold.
The idea is even so hilarious that it could be awesome entertainment...lol

Nope, not impossible, its a bit rare...but possible.
My average coin making/gaining is between 3 to 7 gold coins per day(1 hour or less), because i don't play that much with my low lvl toon, its freaking boring.

All you need is to farm for gloves, boots, adornment and staffs, ID them and hope to get high % critical damage, and you will get a lot of coins in return.

Once i got a magic staff that was worth 2, 56 gold coins.

 

But how do you do that without leveling up?

 

I'm certain that you have read many posts about the no xp gain, right???

All you have to do, is join a group with higher lvl!!!
In my case, my toon is a lvl 3 now and i look for players that are at least 9 or more, this way i won't gain xp, but there is a downside to it, you get a very, very, very low drop of items...you will need months to do this.

 

You're not making much sense. In your previous post, you disregarded this whole post.

I really don't see the confusion, but i will answer again!!!

I farm at Darbmoor+Grimmagstone with my lvl 3 in group and when i need coins, I look for boots, gloves, adornment n' staffs (especially for staffs), I ID them and sell them only if they have % of critical damage or travel speed.

I have tried that a few times and it doesn't compensate farming with lvl 40/45 at Atlantis, the average coin gaining was between 15 to 35 silver coins per run...but that also includes selling green/blue items without ID, I can't afford that, I'm a F2P.

Anyway...if you still have doubts, then simply create a new toon and try it for yourself and you will see it with your own eyes!!!

But as I have said:

Meaning you can't do it alone without raising level.

I am little bit surprised that you think I don't know how those things are working.
In the picture below is my toon, small level but very old, 1,5 years.
As you can see he is no twink, I have created it long time ago and the only thing he does is :collect daily ... log out. All items are first opened and equipped, not that those items are so good rather than he don't need it. So I know how those things are working. My only reference was to impossibility to farm alone without leveling. That is all.

I never wanted to imply, that you don't know about the game-mechanics.
Everyone in this forum knows how wise you are...so i apologize if my post showed the opposite, sorry.

But still, a lvl 13 is a low lvl player, so can you make or not 5 to 10 gold coins per day???
