    So I am level 40 right now. So my rewarded gear would be level 40. If I level up do the stats change at all or stay the same?

    Hi, unless things change suddenly, I waited the maximum level to complete the quest.

    Even if you are done with the ring of life level 40, once you reach level 41, the reward will also be 41 and upgraded max values.
