Hey there community of awesomeness,

jumping in quite quickly to drop here a comment: I have not gone AWOL and will appear again next Tuesday to start answering to the latest batch of questions and concerns that have been displayed here. Yep, they are quite a few but my resolution remains strong.

It will be my please to offer more clarification to the latest topics that have been appearing, specially the crafting 2.0 feature and feedback thread and the Bigpoint and Youzu announcement of this week. The Community Roadmap section will also get updated soon with the main features that we are preparing for rel163 which will happen, by the way, around the first week of April.

I would like to thank you all for your patience and wish you a nice Easter period or, if you are not into that kind of stuff, a nice jump right into the next season.

I'll rather see the upcoming defense event rather than a repeat of the dragan event.

 

Can you put cloaks as a random drop from monsters?(improved,magic ...)
You will put lvl 55 in the future,and then lvl 60 and etc. And we have to wear lvl 40 cloack...Also everybody use same cloak(dragan cloak or cloack of power) and stats of cloaks are really bad.So if you ad cloaks with random enchantments and stats it would be much better.Sorry on my english

 

I do enjoy the idea that you know anything about me whatsoever. But in all honesty, if I am wrong about something, I will be the first person to admit so. But I wasn't. And either way, HP may be close to as good as a block rate shield for pve, but for pvp there is no way it is more important, not with the damage people are swinging these days. Block is king. End of discussion.

PVP is broken anyway... people do so much damage that even with a good block rate tanks fall like flies in a few high damage hits. Untill they finally fix/ balance the PVP i would not comment on the mechanics.

I don't know you but i have seen your posts here on the forum and thats why am inclined to think from those.

I have recruited many players for the game (not because the phoenix, which everyone has trough ... smart play). When I have seen your announcement about fixed (improved) Stellar gold, I called the people, who already gave up with the game for a few days due to the cancelled Dragan event. I told them its great event now and you put me in a very bad position, Haruki! I want answer from you and you ask the designers of this event for clarification - as they lied to you or you lied to me ... because finally I became the liar to my friends.

 

So, you like one-hitting mages/rangers but doesn't like it when it comes around?
Do you know that every other class fears DKs in the battle field?

 

OK, Haruki... Lets have a bit of a candid conversation...
This is what you said in your guide for the Updates Stellar Gold event.

"Other amazing items for your character"
This made me excited. I figured, as the waves got tougher, the drops would get better. I expected a couple greens, maybe a blue, from the first couple of waves. Then I figured that there would be things like extraordinary items in some of the mid difficulty waves, then at least one legendary from the final wave. I was also hoping for some of those other nice goodies like the andermant, potions, essences and gems (because I know better than to expect uniques by now) might get mixed in. Imagine my surprise when the grand total of garbage that I got for 30 min of killing waves and waves of monsters was 10 magic items and 7 improved items...



I've said it again and again and again, and you keep trying to deny it, but you, and the entire DSO team, are totally out of touch with what players want.

Do you really think that 6580 glyphs is an appropriate reward for 10 realm fragments and 30-40 min of our time? I don't count the stellar gold because a lottery isn't an effective motivation for an event. Sure, last time you ran this, I got 250 draken and one Mighty Spirit Guard, but that was luck from one run of the arena out of curiosity, not dedicated farming. 301 players in the entire game will get rewarded for their efforts in this event, and everyone else is stuck with the garbage that they got from the arena.

Talk to those big wigs who actually make the decisions in this game and tell them that they are clueless. This event has gone from being one of the most highly anticipate events ever in Versions 1 and 2 to now being a filler that isn't even worth the time that it takes to close the event notification.

Here's hoping that the third time is the charm and maybe with your 3rd new version, you go back to the original version and give us what we actually want instead of insulting us again.

I understand that this is a buisness but who wants to spend on a game where all you have to do is grind and you ruin players with your updates ?
Sorry but DSO has gone continuously backwards for the past 18 months to 2 years IMO
I am not sure how long I have played but I do remember looking forward to the Stellar Gold event now it is just another ruined event that you try to get people to waste money to buy andermants for

 

To play the game at the start is already wrong and spending on the game makes me a big moron, just alone the skills is enough to replace those big gems of mine.
Sw skills is simply trash, dks is immune to them rangers blade dance and using adrenaline runnning away from singularity is another thing too.
and Iron dwarf is unstoppable.
What is this , cmon dso
dont ever beg ur players to come back to the game by using using ur conning tactics

Please clarify the position on Premium Merchant.

 

I think the players should be offered an option before start playing:
"Accept/Decline playing the event"
Just like in the past ... if you don't want to play it then select "Decline" ... and your drop shouldn't be affected by the Stellar Gold and "lucky" coins.
If i don't wan't to play this event ... I don't want my drop to suck ... because we know that all drops suck when there is active event. (don't worry they won't admit ... but it is the reality).

They pretty much did admit it. I conjure if it's true about one kind of drop then it's true about others.

About 9 minutes into the Mar 11 twitch, talking about the Lor'Tac costume drops, Greg comes right out and says how this is possible

No, i didn't mean that. 2 Handed DK are suppose to have higher damage (eve higher compared to other DPS class if needed) as in drakensang the 2 handed DK is equal to what other games have as warriors and a 1 handed DK is like those Paladins/Templar. I don't mind dieing in 1 shot in PVP but what i don't like is the fact that we can 1 shot in PVP. You see, what's the fun in a fight if you and your opponent keep 1 shot-ing each other

 

Added insult that BP is wasting time with these events that benefit nobody, postponing dragan for this. Many players need the dragan set. Just relaunch the old dragan exactly how it was, no need to spend development time on it, and it will still be better than the last 3 events combined.
