Does it matter if people can buy honor points? All Robert Rampage sells at the moment is random items, and you already can buy magic (blue) items and craft them with anders, so this (the ability to acquire rampage's wares) is already in the game. Or are you upset about people buying up to 50? If so, that's kind of cheap, anyway. I never thought that the points earned against 40's in the old game should have counted towards elevating you to 50 in the pvp tree.

 

Not amazing they really don't care
All you can do is stop putting money into the game and stop putting time into the game
I have never spent on this and won't as I see it purely as something to do if I am bored
And now the way the game is it is too boring to waste my time on it
I log in if someone is on to speak to I chat if friends list and guild list is Red I log straight out
They might get some new players come through that have seen the game adverts but majority of the veterans that played DSO are going or gone
Well that is on Agathon server anyway
PS CM's tell your Develops if you going for a pure pay to play game not going to work your product does not deserve money the amount of bugs lag and pure lack of quality you have

 

I guess a picture really is worth a thousand words... maybe even more because we have been yelling at the top of our lungs about this problem ever since the release, but you have consistently ignored the words. It does not inspire confidence in your statement that you read and consider everything when it takes a picture to shock you and the developers out of your apathy.

 

You actually answer questions, that keeps me flabbergasted for a lack of a better word.

Maybe it should not, since this company keeps taking my money, but it still feels amazing to have someone from BP to be responsive and informed. They must pay you more and not in andermant.

 

It is about time the devs posting more info ... otherwise ... we ... the players have to look for the answers on our own.

Hello, when you say it's coming soon, can you tell us exactly in what realese it's coming? R156 ? R157 ? R158?
And can you tell us too if the items we already open before the correction will be corrected too ?

 

You think it's funny to put 6-7 stupid priests in one spot in HOD? And then to see blue meteors all over the place? You call that fun? -.-
I can't even see anything because the screen is blue. The meteors cover the screen.
Is that how you protect your precious income? You put your stupid priests to work for you so that the players can't farm many resources for free without wasting hundreds of hours to kill those stupid things. You make everything in your power to make it annoying for people to play for free so that they have to pay. If you go to q3, you have no priests, but instead you have archers. You see deadly arrows everywhere dealing insane dmg, killing me in 2-3 shots... and for what? for some nerfed blue essence drops and some coins and maybe 100 ander per map and 1-2 pink items and a few greens and blues which are useless because I need to melt millions of items to be able to upgrade level 50 items now.

Why do we have to walk to HOD through m1? Can't we just teleport directly to m2? Why do you always have to make us take the long road? You lose so much if we can teleport directly to m2? You have to make us waste our time? And why do you put so many stupid souls on those stairs, close to the entrance to m2? Those constipated stairs gave me countless deaths and after I die I have to wait 10 seconds again and go to the city and start all over.

 

honestly i don't know where to cry any more...here, speakers, test or on class...so what happen tonight...we were on balor and some1 said "hey let's go on mortis" so we did...all in all after 10 min 5 of us lost/spend around 4k andermants, 25k blue ess, i use 34 universal pot THIRTY FOUR!!!!! AND FOR WHAT? 1 PINK... I USED TO TANK MORT SOLO WITHOUT USING ANY POT, SOME BLUE, AND IN 3 MIN...

well idk what to ask to change...really idk...

you said DK OP ok...nerf dk nerf them all!!! well still all classes need dk and dk need them...i did mortis solo (to prove myself) 4-5 times 1 time destructor, always happy to help my friend and guild mates....now i can't help any1

yes im the same happened me as well but when i seen how hard mortis was after 155 i doint go there anymore so jason please restore the game back to some type of playability for us dk as without us other classes have a hard job achiveing anything in this messed up game.

 

They want all dk to have 300 damage 20k hp and spam the new useless skill so that we can keep mortis hitting us like sandbags and others spam damage on mortis lol.
Wonder who said "they can have more options now" Wow SO many options of a build for a dk to help in a group, so many options....

 

It didn't seem like the new skill worked on mortis. It worked in HoD but I think mortis is immune.

 

I know it works on Balor, but the problem is that it only lasts for about 2 seconds meaning that you have to be spamming it every other attack if you want to keep agro with it... for all we know, it may work on Mortis but it just so short lived that it is hard to see the difference.

 

Even better then. I haven't used the skill since i tried it just after release and found it useless unless dks use it in the method stated above or its a regen/hp focussed dk. I assumed it could be used in mortis the same way dks use the skill in balor.
Well one more reason for dk's to love the skill.

With this post i wanna show you something about DSO and about R155 that can be easily called... an aberration !!!


In this image you can see the cost in Gop and also, andermant... of a low lvl item, raised at lvl 55. If someone, anyone wants to farm the Gop required for raising the lvl of the item at his max stats... he/she will need about 510 days of intensiv farming (i mean... 24/7 farming, no breaks, no life).
On the other hand...if someone would want to pay the cost of the upgrade, he or she will need, over 10 mil andermant... meaning... he/she will have to pay about 5000 to 8000 euros (the cost of a new or second hand car) for just 1 (ONE) item in a virtual game which is supposed to be fun and free to play !
Who, in this world... would want to spend the cost of a car for an item found into a virtual game !?
From from one person to another... i have just one question... Do you, Miss Haruki or you, Mr. Greg or even you, Mr. Jason... would pay about 5000 euro (more or less) from your sallary for the upgrade of just ONE item !?

I do not know who throw these numbers into the game but... i guess it's time for you all to wake up at the reality... make one step behind and see the big picture ! Do you guys, even realise that we play and we talk about a f2p, virtual game !?

Although those upgrade costs are written there and could technically be paid, nobody would reasonably do this, and BP doesn't expect us to.
While it may make sense to upgrade an item for a few levels while you are leveling up, no item is meant to be upgraded from such a low level to level 55. You would certainly find some better items on the way.

Also level 50 items have very high upgrade costs to level 55.
Well, BP gives us a technical possibility to upgrade items to up to 5 Levels over the maximum level of our character.
But that doesn't mean that this has to make ANY "economic" sense.
Of course, you can buy a sports car for several million Euros, or a bottle of wine for some thousands, or a painting, again, for millions.
Some people have the money and actually are willing to pay those prices, while others don't.
But you would not complain about a car dealer who sells a Lamborghini or Rolls Royce at a price you can't afford, would you?

BP simply trusts in your mental capabilities and judgement to figure out how much a certain improvement is worth to you - and if it isn't, just laugh about it and move on.
So do I.

P.S. I assume it MAY make sense to upgrade e.g. an improved (green) or magic (blue) offhand item from level 50 to level 55, for increased block rate or critical hit rate. For most legendaries, the exponentially increasing costs simply make it pointless - so what?

 

You're supposed to find better stuff as you level up, not glyph this up endlessly.

 

You can even compare the offer at luxury cars with the offers made by BP... the luxury cars are something "real", something that you can use for a lifetime, something that worth the money... on the other hand, the companies which make cars and sell them... offer a product about which they know that will be sold (same for other products/services). From what i read in your post... i understand (if is true)... that BP offers something that can't be and won't be sold.... do you see any logical reason for this !? It's like BP telling us: "We have a offer for you... it costs 1 mil euro but we know that you aren't crazy enough to buy our product". Where is the logic of this !? Where is "your" logic !?
Second... you talk about the 50 lvl items that can be raised and max stats and i agree... they have pretty good stats but you forgot one thing.... some of them costs about 139 - 360 mil Gop or over 20 mil andermant (you may see them in your inventory or i can put a picture with them). Do you see any logic in using 300 mil Gop or 20 mil andermant to upgrade an intem or even to see the absurd price !? In other place than DSO, do you see any offer that can't be used or purchased cause of the unreasonable costs !?
Use your brain to find a logic (if you can "see" one) and don't talk or act at your first primitive impulse without thinking !

 

so bugpoint, when are you going to fix the essence bug? Blue essence deals only 70% dmg, more or less, depending on your knowledge settings. Are you going to start next event with this stupid bug?

 

The logic is simply that BP made it technically possible to upgrade any item to lvl 55, 5 levels over the maximum experience level.
While this may be "economically" feasible for some cheaper (e.g. green) items, it is also built in the mechanism that upgrading for items of higher rarity (e.g. legendaries) is more expensive, and the upgrade cost for any additional level is increasing exponentially.
Which leads to the fact that while upgrading a legendary to level 47 or 48 or a green item to 52 may make sense, upgrading a legendary to lvl 55 does rather not.
There is no need for BP to TECHNICALLY exclude upgrades that make no economic sense.

But those astronomic costs are not a price tag that was written and attached just now; they are merely the logical consequence of the formula that has been applied for a long time.
For me personally, I never really considered upgrading any of my lvl 45 items beyond lvl 48 - the advantage gained was always too small compared to the effort.
