    Gr_Trakilaki and Gr_Horrible, do you know anything about a possible Sargon quiver renew?
  5. trakilaki

    trakilaki Living Forum Legend

    I don't.
    That quiver is soooo out of date ... any reworking would make no sense at all.

    I don`t expect update on Dragan sets, neither to New moon and Full moon sets. Not to mention old equipment...
    I think they are stuck - they really don`t know what to do and what should be done.

    Well, if they make "20% more dmg, 15% less hp" orange bonuses it could be a valuable unique (if crafted obv)...

    With how they love 1H these days? It would only the 15% less hp in orange... :oops:

    Wouldn't the perfect number be infinity as it would be the answer to most math problems? I guess if I were to compare 42 and 1.61803398875 then you are getting closer but still not the right answer. You might see it as a math problem but logic is a part of it.

    Infinity is... not really a number. :rolleyes:

    And Twenty is a word but it describes a number now doesn't it?

    yes but that's irrelevant when talking about an abstract concept. just because its sometimes treated as a number doesn't make it one

    One day a mathematician decides that he is sick of math. So, he walks down to the fire department and announces that he wants to become a fireman.
    The fire chief says, "Well, you look like a good guy. I'd be glad to hire you, but first I have to give you a little test."
    The fire chief takes the mathematician to the alley behind the fire department which contains a dumpster, a spigot, and a hose. The chief then says, "OK, you're walking in the alley and you see the dumpster here is on fire. What do you do?"
    The mathematician replies, "Well, I hook up the hose to the spigot, turn the water on, and put out the fire."
    The chief says, "That's great... perfect. Now I have to ask you just one more question. What do you do if you're walking down the alley and you see the dumpster is not on fire?"
    The mathematician puzzles over the question for awhile and he finally says, "I light the dumpster on fire."
    The chief yells, "What? That's horrible! Why would you light the dumpster on fire?"
    The mathematician replies, "Well, that way I reduce the problem to one I've already solved."

    Theory is when you know everything but nothing works.
    Practice is when everything works but no one knows why.
    In Drakensang Online ... theory and practice are combined. Nothing works and no one knows why. :eek:

    Hello! I'd like to request for some insight on how item-specific multipliers are affected by overall multipliers.
    An example would be the "% increased armor on this item" and the "% increased armor". Will the "% increased armor" consider the armor values after calculations of "% increased armor on this item", or will it be before calculations?
    I figured the gurus would know best about this since they have more materials to test on. Thank you!

    Increased armor value on this item works only on that item ... the total armor of the item should be multiplied by the % armor value enchantment.

    When considering set bonuses , would equipping 2 bloodtooth rings result in the 2 of 3 added bonus of increased damage?

    I understand that part. Perhaps my questions should have been phrased better. When will the overall multiplier be included in the calculations, is it before the item-specific multiplier is applied, or after the item-specific multiplier is applied?
    Sampling two Items A and B with the following stats:
    % increased armor on item A (overall multiplier)= 10%
    % increased armor for item A (item-specific multiplier)= 100%
    armor on item A = 1000
    armor on item B = 500

    a. After item-specific calculations
    x = {[armor on item A] + [armor on item A * (increased armor for item A)] + [armor on item B]} +
    {[armor on item A] + [armor on item A * (increased armor for item A)] + [armor on item B]} * {%increased armor on item A}

    x = {[1000] + [1000 * 1] + [500]} +
    {[1000] + [1000 * 1] + [500]} * {0.1}

    x = 2500 + 250

    x = 2750

    b. Before item-specific calculations
    y = {[armor on item A] + [armor on item A * (increased armor for item A)] + [armor on item B]} +
    {[armor on item A] + [armor on item B]} * {%increased armor on item A}

    y = {[1000] + [1000 * (1)] + [500]} +
    {[1000] + [500]} * {0.1}

    y = 2500 +150

    y = 2650

    Which one of these is correct? (Please do let me know if the calculations themselves are incorrect.)
