Assign essence to certain skills.

As in; it would be helpful to allocate essence to selected skills. In lieu of having to tab-switch as a means of overusing or rationing essence.

Could you clarify a little more please?

Im not sure why one would be overusing essense unless using a 1H maybe, otherwise switch your ess out and save it when you dont need it and only go in using the ess that you need. If you for instance can kill a boss with purps, dont use your reds..etc

I would like to set essence to say, my more powerful or useful skills, such as guardian. As to not over use essence with weaker and faster essence draining skills.

 

Ah I gotcha. Thats a good idea but then you can always set green and say blues and then switch them when you throw your guardian..i have done this before and then switch them back after your guardian goes down.

 

I was thinking more Orange or Silver essence, for warp/jump/jetpack. Then I wont use any up with Dragan's blue beam set buff when I am low.

 

So an essense that would speed up or eliminate cooldown for jumping?

 

It's just economizing and convenience. The dragan beam uses up no essence, but still powers up the skill/buff. You just warp etcetera to use the blue beam I was saying.
