Bad "Locker Deal"

    I logged in yesterday (2014.01.30) to find the Locker and Inventory sale I've been waiting for finally going on.

    I have three characters, on Tegan server. A Spellweaver and a Dragonknight that both have taken advantage in the past and have full lockers. So I went to purchase the same for my Steam Mechanicus, Tagnus (level 36). I hit the deal button, did the usual (I have done this before) and everything went through without a hitch.

    Until I logged in to get my Lockers.

    I was given a message that read:

    "We received an order.
    Your character has already received this pack.
    herefor, the equivalent amount of Andermant
    has been credited to your accout.
    You will now receive:
    20K Andermant."

    So, the locker deal costs $27.99. What makes this worse is that for $27.99, had I wished to purchase Andermant through the store I would have received 24K Andermant for that price.

    I'm posting this because I know at least one other player who experienced this problem.


    Customer Support was notified, with screenshots, my ticket number is 2014013010035093.

    As yet I have had no response except for the automated one that sent the ticket number to me.

    I contacted VISA, and they have both helped me out by cancelling the charge and adding my name to thier 'complaints' section of thier Bigpoint file.

    The other player I am aware of having shared the problem is doing the same through PayPal.


    So, somebody needs to fix something. I'm know I'm not the only one waiting for my Lockers.

    Well, here we are two days after the problem and sending in the report on it and still not a word back from anyone.

    Too bad that when Bigpoint laid off those programmers they laid off the ones who know how to fix things. Since they are probably now coding and getting paid what they're worth elsewhere, it's probably next to impossible to coax them back to fix the problem.

    Per your advice, Biztart, I submitted another ticket through the link you provided 2 days ago. The response I have finally received is telling me that I got what I paid for, which as anyone can see by actually looking at the screenshots included with the ticket (same as above), I didn't. Obviously no one actually looked at the screenshots. I have re-submitted the report, so now a third ticket. Maybe this time someone will actually look at it.

    Update: 20 days after submitting the ticket with my problem I had a reply from "edit", offering to give me the lockers and take back the 20K ander, or add the 4K ander.

    I responded that I wanted the lockers. The follow up response "from her manager" is the "You must have 10 levels of Ancient Wisdom blah blah blah."

    I have told them that I had 27 levels at the time. Now we wait and see again.

    For the privacy of the Support staff, I have removed the name.

    If you have already unlocked too many locker expansions before the purchase, that can also be a disqualifyer from the locker purchase.

    I've purchased "all the lockers" once for my Spellweaver, and once more for my Dragonknight.

    My wife cannot purchase a locker at all. So I've suggested that just perhaps, maybe, there might be a link in the purchase tracking for non-Ander purchases related to IP address.

    So would that mean only two of the four charcters you can have are able to purchase deals, or that there's something else not working.

    Sorry, I'm not aware of this criteria for the expansion pack. If you haven't already, you can add this information to your Support ticket and hopefully you can work out something fair with Support.
