bad luck or bad bug

i started the event and since then my luck has gone down and down i did the quest its given me a River Dance emote (cannot be used) its red and does nothing, i also got my level 28 login bonus after waiting 10days extra befor claiming my sword, its given me the Worse stats possible and then out of the 10 small chests i got 4x fairy summoning part 1, the rest total junk
i then open 5 gem bags all flawed, then i tryed running though the event again. to finish the quest, magic boss droped same item 4 times (magic boots) is this normal..

i know bad luck when i see it, but it seems there is somthing els at work here

A bug is not bad luck. Well...not the kind of luck you're talking about. The duration says 7 days at the top, but 17days at the bottom. Looks like a bug to me. Contact support on that one.

Does the sword have variable stats in the first place? I don't recall those weapons having anything but fixed stats so it's not a luck thing at all. The fairy thing is just another dice roll. I've seen one Fairy gem in all my play time on multiple toons, yet others have seen 5 or more in the same play time, and unless you are just looking to sparkle, the fairy is not much anyway, and not worth getting disappointed.

Truth is luck is luck. Yours doesn't appear to be abnormal. But, if it truly bothers you the choice is to accept that this game has an element of luck which you use persistence to overcome, or to take up chess.
