    I recently started using the bearach's set and found that it is not working properly. The bug affects the skill "Mighty wild swing" it is not getting the additional damage it should after the monster has been affected by the bleed. We performed tests in both cases with or without bleeding the damage was the same. I hope the bug is corrected, because I really liked the set.:D:p

    Sorry for bad english :oops::rolleyes:

    Well... this is an old bug... in the set description, probably.

    Thanks for the explanation, checked again and it is a mistake of description, the other ability is the Rageful swing.

    I find that rageful swing combined with bloody wild swing works great in groups because you can regen group members and yourself.
    Also I use tab between bws and smash so my smashes with increased damage is readily available.

    I think why so few players use the set, it is very good. For me even better than the Herald's set. The synergy between the skills are very good.

    I've said it before, but I'll say it again.

    If you are a team player and often group up, running the Bear set is awesome from a support point of view. The bleed buff applies to any DK hitting a monster with Smash, so if there is a second DK in the group, no matter what set they are using, they get the 25% bonus damage on their Smashes too. And Phyrix already pointed out that the BWS has the advantage of healing the entire team while also inflicting bleed.

    But if you are a solo DK, the Herald set is still the king of burst damage, and with the appropriate cool down strategies (runes, rage attack, 2H wisdom points), it also out damages the Bear set in a sustained damage race too.

    Previously it was a closer comparison, because the Bear set came with some Crit rate on it in the unique lines. But now that we have things like platinum lines, improved and magic royal gems, and sapphires are gone forcing players to use onyxes in the decoration, the Bear set will overflow crit too easily at end game, while the Herald set has little trouble reaching max crit (and overflowing a little too).

    So, as a solo player, I play with Q7, but on the occasion I join a group with a Q4 DK, I'm not laughing at them, or confused by their decision... I appreciate that they are making me even stronger in group.

    That said regarding platinum lines, the tables have turned indeed.
    @Slabutul9 tested and the herald set does not go beyond the 3.6 or rather 4.0 breakpoint.
    With players now able to use cloak of heroes and full damage helmets and platinum lines on all, the bearach set delivers the same speed during banner of war and higher speeds can be attained on its own too.
    Damage wise the bearach weapon now has 14k bigger crits on pinks and the crits is 10k smaller on blues than with q7.
    This also means that more smashes can be maintained during a banner of war and even without b.o.w more smashes can be reached during bleed itself.
    The fact that q7 has a cooldown for the 150% damage buff, minute as it may be with q4 it is possible to do 36 to 40 smashes in banner of war (if a dk has the speed)
