Beginner Questions

I read the faq and guides in forum, but still not clear about some points.

First question is about PvP. I entered many 3v3 matches but most of them never fulls, even if 6 players agreed to play, don't know why fight never starting. Estimated time showing 1min 30sec but even after 20 min passed, fight not starting. In this way it is impossible to play PvP. Why?

2nd question, is about quests, I am a lvl 15 Sw. But I am getting most quests where I can't even enter, too high level. What to do? Should I ignore quests and only killing low levs monsters again and again until I reach lvl 25-30. But it will take lots of time and very boring.

3rd questing is that, I saw many players invited me to join their group and hunt together. How they do that. Because I can't invite anyone.

4th question, Is there any alliance system? How to join them and what is its benefit?

The PvP matching system is "a bit" faulty... but a few reasons for that are: you may be playing on a server with less players (active), you may be playing when other players don't... Anyway the PvP AI is a mess, so take it as it is since there's nothing you can do about it.

Here in DSO grinding is "normal", the DSO motto is "pay or grind" .
Some of the quests appear only when you've reach a certain level, so you must lvl-up in order to proceed with the quest line and into higher lvl maps.

Use the "F" button to open the social tab/window and you must create a group first in order to invite others. The same goes for a guild.

We have a guild system. People may invite you into their Guild or you may create one yourself from the social window ("F").
The bonuses for groups and guilds isn't much, just a small % gain of coins and experience per active guild member when killing monsters.
The guild is more a social thingy.

 

About quests:

You should never run out of quests to do until at least level 32 or something. So, if you think you do not have quests to do, check around the town. May be you have not received certain quests. And remember, to open other quests, you may have to first complete certain quests. Completing such quests will open up more quests to do.

 

The one quest I got is make 2 items in workshop, but getting 4 items of same color and also same level is very rare. I am getting tons of items but all different. Plus my inventory is also very low capacity, no matter how much I sell, it get full very soon, middle of a quest.

Someone invited me to join a pvp match. I learnt how to invite someone in group, how to invite to play PvP?

After I play 1 PvP match, since then my name always appearing as Arnab0606 (PvP) in red color. How to change that?

Sorry but I had to ask, is this your first MMORPG?

That is daily challenges, right? First of all, you can shuffle those challenges (40 anders) if you find them too hard to do. Second, you can craft 4 different level of items (same color). Third, for easy almost guaranteed green drops, you can try farm in Crypt of Kings.

PvP in this game using queuing and match up system, so as long anyone with same level (or 5 level below/above you) registers then you can meet them in arena. But still, you have to wait first. And if you're not registered, then you will not get the confirmation window which I believe you're mistaken that for a 'PvP invitation'.

Go to NPC "Master of Battle" in almost any town (in Kingshill near Royal Arena, in Werian Sanctuary next to blacksmith, so on) and chose "Leave open battle". Your name became red because maybe you accidentally clicked on "Join open battle" before, and anyone else with red names can kill you in wilderness area.

Just open group tab on social window (F shortkey) and click on their name and some options will appeared (remove, invite, add as buddy, etc). You can see those option by doing the same thing to any name on any list. Or just Ctrl+left click on their display name. If you want to leave a group, just click on 'Red Door' icon on the group tab.

Read the description again carefully. It's not guaranteed except Draken. It's all about luck.

Here are some advice:

• Don't spend your ander on those spheres for now. Just focus on saving them to buy inventory expansion , but first you have to open the first row/7slots for 1200-1800 anders I can't remember. Then 2 or 3 tabs of Kobold's Storage (800 at first, then 2K anders per row/5 slots). Wait until at least you have 3 or 4 inventory tabs fully opened. And maybe gem after. I know it is cool to ride an epic mount, wear a fancy costume etc, but you'll get there eventually. Trust me.
• Try to hover your mouse pointer on any icon on your game screen to see the functions.
• Read any item/option/quest description/guide carefully before buying/doing something (shopping, quest, gambling, etc).
• Try to read and learn some events. You'll need those drakens and rewards later.
• Keep your eyes on any official sales or offers (my favorite are 25% off gem sale and sparkling offer ), events, and game updates to catch up. Any sale/event icons will appear on the left side of your screen.

There is a quast "Use a workbench to improve the things you found and show them to Matthew Allthings".

But even after doing so quest is not complete. How to complete that quest?
